AN OMNIBUS RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PEACE AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY (POPS) PLAN OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZARRAGA, PROVINCE OF ILOILO AND LIKEWISE, RECOMMENDING TO THE
SANGGUNIANG BAYAN, THIS MUNICIPALITY TO ADOPT AND APPROVE THE SAME

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 116 of Republic Act No.7160, also known as the Local
Government Code of 1991, and Executive Order No. 773, s.2009, which calls for the further
reorganization of the Peace and Order Councils in every Province, City and Municipality ;

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No.2015 128 dated November 2,2015 entitled
Guidelines on the Formulation of Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan mandates every
Provincial, City, Municipal Peace Order Council and Barangay Peace and Order Committee to formulate
a 3-year term-based Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Pan and which shall be incorporated in
the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) of the local government unit;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Peace and Order Council, Technical Working Group, Sangguniang
Bayan Committee on Peace and Order and other stakeholders conducted a workshop on the
formulation of the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan 2017 2019 on January 23, 2017;

WHEREAS, after due deliberation of the presented POPS Plan 2017 - 2019, the MPOC members
consider for its approval;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of ____________________ and duly seconded by

MUNICIPAL PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL

RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS)
Plan 2017 2019 of the Municipality of Zarraga and likewise, recommend to the Sangguniang Bayan,
this Municipality to adopt and approve the same.

RESOLVE FINALLY, to furnish copies of this Resolution to all offices concerned for information
and appropriate action.
