Gauri Khan
Gauri Khan is an Indian film producer, an interior designer, a costume
designer and the wife of bollywood's superstar Shahrukh Khan. She is the
co-founder of the film production and distribution company "Red Chillies
Entertainment". She was born as Gauri Chhibber on 8 October, 1970 in
New Delhi, India. She has done her primary studies at Loreto Convent and
graduated in history from LSR, Lady Sriram, New Delhi. In 1990's, she had
hosted a weekly Hindi music countdown show, "Oye" for MTV India. She
has also appeared on the cover page of Indian edition of Vogue magazine,
where she is called as the "First Lady of Bollywood".

Family/Marriage
Gauri Khan was born to Colonel Ramesh
Chandra Chhibber and Savita Chhibber in
New Delhi. Her father passed away on March
1, 2016. He was Originally hailing from Patti
village in Hoshiarpur district and migrated to
Delhi in 1970. Gauri grew up in Rajinder
Nagar, a suburb. She has one brother Vikrant
Chibber and sister-in-law Namita Chibber. She
is married to the famous bollywood celebrity
Shah Rukh Khan on October 25, 1991. They
have three children Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan
and AbRam Khan.
Career
Gauri Khan is basically an interior designer
and a costume designer. She later founded
motion picture production and distribution
company "Red Chillies Entertainment"
alongwith her husband King Khan and
became a producer. She is also the face of the
fashion line, Aftershock. In 2008, she
appeared in a television and print commercial
for the home furnishings brand, D'decor
along with her husband.
Designer
Gauri Khan has interest in arts, so she chose
interior designing as hobby, but later
ventured into partnership with Sussanne
Khan to design exclusive interior projects
together. In the year 2010, they worked
together on their first commercial project
together in Vadodara of a massive 60
thousand sq. ft. private home. In 2012, she
launched her own line of furniture in
partnership with Roshan's home store in
Mumbai, "The Charcoal Project".
