The Presidential Speech by newly elected President

SCCI has now turned from crude to something more
useable, said, Mr. Manzoor Malik, newly elected President
Sheikhupura Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in his first
speech.
Now there is no room for SCCI to act as dummy chamber
as witnessed by previous years. Moreover, it is time to gird
up loins to protect the rights of business and entrepreneur
community of Sheikhupura and remember that we do not
represent a small district rather the largest business and
industrial hub of Pakistan.
Our most contested issues still need resolution and I remind
you again that these are, electricity, infrastructure, health and
environment, law-n-order, water & sanitation, gas, labor, tech-
nical and professional resources, less mark-up on all national
and international financing schemes, and making Pakistan a
talented and prosperous youngster Pakistan.
If we are able to achieve above said resolutions, then I assure
you flow of foreign investment in Pakistan in form of Over-
seas Pakistani interests in developing businesses and indus-
tries and other financial and monetary grants on reasonable
and acceptable conditions.
Now despite taking much of your time, I would like to
conclude my discussion that we shall not campaign against

The Chamber’s Education Workforce Quality works to make

about inadequate funding of technical education. The Cham-
