NOMINATION FOR ELECTION TO FILL VACANCIES FOR IEM PAHANG

COUNCIL SESSION 2016/2017

The Council of The Institution Of Engineers, Malaysia (Pahang Branch) at its meeting
held on 21 January 2016 had unanimously appointed me to be the Election Officer
responsible for the proper conduct of the election to fill Council vacancies for Council
Session 2016/2017. An Election itinerary had also been approved by the Council for
implementation.

2. The Council vacancies as per table in the NOTICE as in Appendix A will arise for
the Session 2016/2017 as a result of Council Members retiring at the end of Council
session 2015/2016.

3. A copy of the IEM Code of Conduct for Committee Members is attached as in

Appendix B.

4. In accordance with Rules of the Pahang Branch, nomination to fill the vacancies
are invited from amongst Corporate Members. Any three Corporate Members may
nominate or second any other Corporate Member as a candidate by completing the
attached nomination form as in Appendix C. The nomination form together with the
written consent and the Bio-data as in Appendix D of the person so nominated, shall be
sent in a sealed envelope marked Confidential Nomination Paper and address to The
Hon. Secretary, The Institution Of Engineers, Malaysia (Pahang), No. 114, Blok F, Lorong
Seri Teruntum 1, Medan Warisan, 25100 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur to reach him
not later than 12.00 noon on 26 April 2016 (Tuesday)
