FIELDSERVICE BULLETIN S) D+D1s122,006 Adjustment Procedure 1, Switch off the digitizer. 2. Remove the right side panel. 3. Unplug bus connection and power connection of the IP-transport unit. 4. Open four quick-action closures and remove the IP- transport unit. Keep the IP-transport unit in a safe place. 5. Put the cassette lift (1) carefully out of the way. Swivel it behind the metal plate. 6. Insert a small size cassette (1). 7. Move it firmly to the right limitation of the cassette holder (2). Now it is inevitable to move the left clamping mechanism (A) of the cassette towards the cassette until it touches it. Never proceed to the next step before the clamping mechanism has been moved towards the cassette! Section 13/2 Type 5155 Field Service Bulletin 11 ‘S) FIELDSERVICE BULLETIN DD+DIS122.00E 8. Lower the cassette holder (A) by turning the red wheel (1). 9. Lower it until the upper edge of the IP Alignment (B) approximately reaches the level of the upper edge of the guide plate (C). 10. Duting the adjustment process the cassette has to be pressed constantly with one hand towards the right limitation of the cassette holder (1). Field Service Bulletin 11 Type 5155 ‘Section 13/3 FIELDSERVICE BULLETIN S) D+D1s122,006 Check the position of the shank of the cassette opener (A) with the cassette pressed towards the right limitation of the cassette holder. Ifit either pushes tightly to the cassette or leaves some space between cassette opener and cassette, the position of the cassette opener has to be adjusted. In the perfect position, the shank of the cassette opener (A) softly touches the cassette. 111. Bring it to the perfect position by screwing the adjustment screw (1) either clockwise or counterclockwise. 12. Turn the red wheel (Figure 3 (1)) up and down several times, to check the function and the adjustment of the cassette opener. The result is satisfactory, if the cassette holder won't loose the cassette lid 13. If safety laquer at hand: add some safety laquer to the adjustment screw. 14. Close the ADC Solo again and switch on the digitizer. [@8~ Remember: This adjustment is only necessary with digitizers of the series 1102 ~ 1215. Year 2000 Readiness of ADC — Systems General ‘To make ADC systems year 2000 ready, 2 CD-ROMs containing the required updates, have been created. Together with the installation instructions and additional information they can be ordered under: EB+4406.2000 OSC This package is also included in the software upgrade for ADC70 (Order number: EB+ 4406.0666). The following chapters show how to make the different ADC Systems year 2000 ready. ADC 70 System: ‘Software Modules: The following software versions are year 2000 ready.
