Performance Objective: Geometry and measurement.

The student applies mathematical process standards to analyze attributes of two-dimensional

shapes and three-dimensional solids to develop generalizations about their properties. The student is
expected to:
Objective One: Create two-dimensional shapes based on given attributes, including number of
sides and vertices.

After teaching two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes, students are expected to re-
enforce their knowledge on how many vertices and faces a cube has by practicing this activity.

Objective Two: compose two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional solids with given
properties or attributes.

After learning about three-dimensional shapes and different ways to build them, students are
expected to use their creativity and logic knowledge to identify a cube from a given net.
