Director’s Message
Asia-Pacific Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) is one of the best B-Schools of India. We at
AIMS believe in nurturing the future of students and maintaining industry interface continuously.
Students are trained to develop value system for commitment, integrity, courage and dedication
to initiate and manage changes. Since managerial leadership requires excellent functional
skills and balanced global outlook, we at AIMS strive to achieve the same by continuously
updating the course curriculum and creating competent management professional, who can
transform the future of business at global level. Students are regularly assessed and counseled
using individualized psychometric profiling, team building and leadership exercises.
This two year PGPM programme is one of the best in the country. It has 40 courses and
132 credits with 2 months’ summer internship and a terminal dissertation. The students also
acquire an MBA from a UGC recognized university simultaneously along with PGPM Degree.
Students are required to take up relevant industry projects as part of the PGPM Programme.
The summer internship programme of 8 weeks helps to increase the students’ perspective by
providing exposure to real life organizations and their mode of operations and problems.
Our students have participated in National Management Games of AIMA and have emerged as
regional winners. They have also participated in Business Plan Contests, Debates etc. in inter
institute management festivals.
The selection process for admission to PGPM is rigorous and students screened through CAT/
MAT/XAT are put through GD and PI process where industry area experts also participate in
the panel.
AIMS, as a nodal B-School of excellence, tries to improve the industry practice and though
dedicated research, consultancy and training activities by its highly capable faculty resources.
In the process, AIMS has developed into a model institute for quality education in management.
The final campus placement has been excellent in the past year and AIMS has been able to
meet the increasing demands of the business houses by providing resources that are valuable
on two different counts, namely in embodying new knowledge and skills and in generating
fresh outlooks, awareness and interests. During the placement process, the companies from
diverse sectors evaluate the students before committing a permanent appointment.
This year again I welcome you to AIMS, to come and have a look at our young managerial
talent and select them for final placement for building a better and prosperous tomorrow.

special emphasis on personality grooming through presentations, public

“Marketing Club, operations club, IT club, and “HR Club” encourage
students to have a hands-on experience on how events are organized
besides enhancing their knowledge base.
