CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

The New Bilibid Mansion RPG game was inspired based of The New Bilibid
Prison drug trafficking scandal, political scandal concerning allegations of government
involvement in illegal drug trade at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila,
Philippines. With the development of this game application, new perspectives become
available to help users enhance the gaming experience and to be more competitive
with what the entertainment industry offer; fun. While playing this game, you can learn
about what happening inside of the new bilibid mansion, challenge yourself and
making strategy to defeat some opponents.
This system was developed by the students of the College of Information and
Communication Technology in Southern Mindanao Colleges (SMC).

1.1 SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

1.2 INSTALLATION
1.2.1 SERVER (SOFTWARE)
1.2.1.1 INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS 7 OPERATING
SYSTEM

<The following are the steps to install Operating


System>

Step 1: Enter your computer's BIOS. Turn off the


computer that you want to install Windows on
then turn it back on. When the BIOS screen
appears or you are prompted to do so, press
Del, Esc, F2, F10, or F9 (depending on your
computers motherboard) to enter the system
BIOS. The key to enter the BIOS is usually
shown on the screen.

Step 2: Find your BIOS's Boot options menu. The


boot options menu of your BIOS may vary in
location or name from the illustration. Set your
<CDROM> drive as the first boot device.

Step 3: Save the changes of the settings. Select
<Exit> menu and select the button indicated
on the screen, select <Save Changes> or
press <F10> to save your configuration.

Step 4: Shut off your computer. Either turn off the


computer by choosing the shut-down option in
your current operating system, or hold the
power button until the computer powers off.

Step 5: Power on the PC and the insert the Windows


7 disc into your CD/DVD drive.

Step 6: Start your computer from the disc. After you


have placed the disc into the disc drive, start
your computer. When the computer starts,
press a key if you are asked if you would like
to boot from the disc by pressing any key.
After you choose to start from the disc,
Windows Setup will begin loading.

Step 7: Choose your Windows Setup options. Once


Windows Setup loads, you'll be presented
with a window. Select language, keyboard
type, and time/currency format, then click
<Next>.

Step 8: Click <Install Now> button.

Step 9: End User License Agreement (EULA). Check


the box to accept the license terms, then
click <Next>.

Step 10: Select the <Custom> installation.

Step 11: Allocate desired spaces to install your


Windows operating system. Click <Drive
options (advanced>.

Step 12: Create partition on your hard drives. Enter
desired space allocation to create partition.

Step 13: Install Windows on your primary partition.


Click <Next> to proceed with the installation
into your preferred drives.

Step 14: Begin copying files and installation.

Step 16: Set password for your computer and click

Step 19: Configure your timezone, date and time

1.2.1.2 INSTALLATION OF GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER

<The following are the steps to install Google


Chrome browser>

Step 1: Search for Google Chromes official website.


You can search using any existing browser.
For Windows package, Internet Explorer is
already installed into your operating system.
You can use the existing browser to download
a Google Chrome browser.

Step 2: Click <Download Chrome>.

Step 3: Accept the terms of service. Click <Accept


and Install> to proceed with the download.

Step 4: Wait to complete the downloading process.

Step 6: The Installation complete window will appear,
then click <Close>.

1.2.1.3 INSTALLATION OF FILEZILLA CLIENT FTP (Transfer


Protocol)

<The following are the steps to Install Filezilla Client


File Transfer Protocol:>

Step 1: Find your Filezilla client installer then click


<Filezilla_3.25.2.exe> to execute icon. See
figure 27, page 18.

<I agree> to install.

<Next> to continue installation process.

1.2.1.4 UPLOAD DOMAIN FILEZILLA CLIENT FTP

1.2.1.5 INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BILIBID MANSION

<The following are the steps to Install THE NEW


BILIBID MANSION:>

Step 1: Open your browser and type the websites url.

Step 2: Click <Enter>, it will display the main page of


the website. (The New Bilibid Mansion has one
homepage only and displays the title text and the
navigations text. On the lower portion, it has the details of
each navigation text About, Download and Contact.

Step 3: Click <Download> to automatically scroll


down the homepage to the download section
or <scroll down> until you see the download
section.

1.3 CONVENTION

This section describes a convention of uniform styles used throughout the


manual.

The convention used in this manual are the following:


1. Arial 11 font style and font size use for the documentation
2. Capitalized text indicate title name, location name and building no.
Example:

3. Capitalized bold text indicate chapter and chapter name.

4. Bold italic text with angle brackets indicate instructions.
