360-400 A

Exams:

Students living outside the Springfield Mo area are required to make arrangements to take
the exams at an approved proctored testing site (typically a university testing center or a
public library). There is likely to be a fee imposed by the proctoring site.

Exam Dates (tests off campus must be taken within the following dates)
Exam 1 Between February 16th and February 20th.
Exam 2 Between April 5th and April 9th.
Exam 3 Between May 5th and May 10th.
December 2 and December 8

For students in the Springfield area, tests may be taken on campus in Glass Hall. Exact dates
will be announced in advance (tests will be within the time frame listed above). For schedule
conflicts, alternative dates will be arranged prior to the test

Exam problems include:


Structuring and formulating models based on descriptions of quantitative business problems
Solving quantitative business problems by hand (calculators will be allowed)
Interpreting computer printouts and making business decisions based on the computer solutions
to quantitative business problems
There are no multiple choice or True/False questions on the exams.
Example problems from old tests are provided on blackboard for each chapter.

Assignments
Assignment 1 Forecasting (typically in Excel). Due date will be approximately the seventh
week of classes. (due date will be announced in advance).
Assignment 2 Linear Programming (typically in Lindo/Lingo available to download for free
from the internet). Due date is the last week of classes.
