In the beginning of this year, Wells Fargo was faced with an
ethical issue. "Wells Fargo admitted to creating over 2 million fake
accounts" (Egan 2017). Many employees that tried to stop the illegal sales tactics, such as opening fake credit and bank accounts, were fired when expressing their concerns to human resources. This epidemic caused a lot of people to worry about their future. For example, one employee named Bill Bado, stated "The firing also put a stain on my security license, and I wasn't able to get hired in the industry again" (Egan 2017). Bado eventually had to work part-time at a grocery store to supply for his family.
