ABSTRACT

Research area located at Kasuarang Area, West Sinjai Sub-district, Sinjai District, South
Sulawesi Province. Geographically, located at 1190590012000130 East Longitude and
05012000501400 South Latitude. The aim of this study is to determine slope susceptibility
zone of landslide with frequency ratio, DInSAR and GIS in the research area.
Method that used in this study is field observation, including; outcrop and all of geology
features that found in the field; interpretation of imagery satellite to classify land; spatial data
accumulation; secondary data accumulation, that is rain fall data; processing of remote sensing
of Alos Palsar; and quantitative method, that is frequency ratio. Parameter of slope, aspect
slope, lithology, elevation, land use, and landslide distribution using GIS to know ratio value so
that slope susceptibility zone could be determined based on LHI (landslide hazard index)
computation.
Based on the result of frequency ratio calculation we know the most parameter
contribution in the research area, there are; settlement (3.4335), elevation 900-1043 (2.84143),
slope 25%-55% (2.6), aspect slope Northeast (22,5-67,5) (2.2836), and volcanic breccias
(1.1788). Susceptibility zone of research area divided into three, there are; slope susceptibility
low zone; slope susceptibility moderate zone; and slope susceptibility high.
Overlay of slope susceptibility zone and interferogram as a result of DInSAR processing
shows color pattern gradation in moderate to high slope susceptibility zone.

Key Word : Landslide, frequency ratio, DInSAR, GIS, slope, aspect slope, elevatin, lithology,
