Activity In this activity students will learn about causes leading to an


American entry into World War Two. First off students will be
given a brief description about World War Two by the teacher.
The teacher will then hand out a KWL to know how much the
students already know about the topic and what really needs to
be emphasized on. Once this is completed students will use the
Smart Exchange lesson to help them navigate through the KWL
and write down information they have learned. Once students
are done taking notes on the slides, they will use their
knowledge learned during the lesson to answer and play
jeopardy. The class will be split into two teams and a volunteer
from each team will have an opportunity to answer a question
individually not as a team. If a team member answers correctly
that team will receive a point. If a team member answers a
question wrong the other team will have the opportunity to
answer the question. The Jeopardy game will be used to review
the information the students learned as well as present
questions to them they may possibly see on an SOL test. The
jeopardy will also be used to emphasize specific material such as
causations of World War Two and what led to a U.S
involvement. Once the jeopardy is completed the teacher will
lead the class in a discussion of what they learned in the Smart
Exchange lesson and answer any questions they still may have
about World War Two. The KWL will be turned into the teacher
for grading to make sure that all the students participated in the
activity and handed back to them to be used a study source.
