Analysis of Aflatoxins (1)

Aflatoxins are mold venom generated from Aspergillus Condition


flavus and about ten kinds of the related compounds are
known. It is considered that Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and Column: Finepak SIL-5
M1 can be carcinogens and contaminants for foods. Eluent: Toluen / Ethyl Acetate / MeOH /
According to a hygienic method, five kinds of Aflatoxin Formic acid = 50 / 5 / 2 / 1

chromatography and detected with a fluorescence detector. Flow rate: 1.0 mL/min.
Figure 1 shows the chromatogram of Nuts pretreated Column temperature: 40C
according to the procedure shown in Figure 2. Injection volume: 10 L
