How to conjugate verbs in English

Conjugating verbs in English


We conjugate verbs in English by using an auxiliary verb. So, the main verb
indicates the action, and the auxiliary verb, the time.

Continuous Tenses
TO BE (Present -> Present Continuous)

*In Affirmative sentences, we omit the auxiliary verb. However, when we


omit does, we add an s to the main verb: She does not study. -> She studies.
