GXB Guide for Basic Team Building

(updated 7/24/2017)

Hi, Shirosai here. Ive played this game since September 2016 and am usually in the top-3 for
both TF and 1-on-1. Ive noticed the same questions popping up on reddit/discord.

The two questions that come up most are: (1) what girls do I invest in and (2) what is the best
team I can build with the girls I have. This is a guide to help address those questions.

(If you want a more general guide that includes game mechanics and gameplay tips, please
check out AlchyTimesThrees guide or if youre interested in seeing how the battle girls rotate
through their various skills, you can check [VT]eXdig0s chart.)

First, there are different modes of the game and different BGs are needed for the different
modes. For example, Geisha is quite useful in Champion, but is pretty much useless anywhere
else. Another example: you need Luna against Single Puppy in Infinity, but she has little to no
utility elsewhere.

Second, there are different stages of the game. For example, the 5-star Zhi Yao is fantastic in
very the early stages of the game, but is a waste of space mid-game and late game. If there is a
huge discrepancy between early game and late game performance, Ill try to mention it.

Legend for Terms used in this Guide

BG = battle girl
DPS = damage per second, averaged out to entire battle
DOT = damage over time
CC = crowd control, includes stuns, knockups, knockbacks, allures, silences
Burst/Nuke = massive damage with a single attack
Nukers dont necessarily do lots of damage with basic attacks, but do
tremendous damage with skills
AP = attack power
AOE = area of effect, affects multiple targets

Game Mode: Champion

In Champion, you have to face off 15 teams around your AP in a row. Any damage incurred
against an earlier opponent will remain for the next opponent.

Generally, the first five opponents are weaker than you are and the last five opponents are
stronger than you are. To complete Champion, it takes a bit of long-term planning. In the first
five battles, youll want to charge up all your BGs ults. Starting from around opponent #6, youll
want your BGs to unleash their charged up ults at the beginning of the battle. This will allow you
to destroy the other team (or come close to it) while taking very little damage. Most battles
should be over in 15 seconds.

The issue here is that once the BGs use their ults, they wont have MP. Thus, for Champion,
youll want BGs with high MP regeneration to recharge their ults at the battles end.

Once you reach late game, many of the BGs will have high mp regeneration, along with the mp
regeneration bonus that Champion gives (BGs regenerate more mp in Champion than they do
at the end of each Campaign stages). As such, most late game Champion comps are fairly easy
to put together. In other words, just throw in any five girls with their mp bar filled.

Champion gameplay for early and mid game, however, is a bit more difficult. See below.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in (this is not a comprehensive list of all the girls you
could use):
Tanks:
1. Wildtress, Dracula, Ninja, Sisha
Healers:
1. Nurse, Scythe, Geisha, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Full-Team Nukers: Blowie, Amazon, Cynthia, Lightin (only early game)
2. Multi-Target Nukers: Lily, Jinx
3. Single-Target Nukers: Annie, Lavia
4. Support: Elvis/Nagia (decreases enemy teams spell resist), Angel (increases team spell
power)

[Non-SX] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Wildtress + 4 Nukers
2. Wildtress + 3 Nukers + 1 Healer
3. Wildtress + 3 Nukers + Elvis/Angel
4. 5 Nukers (only if youre certain of killing entire enemy team with your ults)
[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:
Frontline:
1. Werewolf, Captain Sun*
DPS:
5. Full-Team Nukers: Sapphire, Amelia
6. Multi-Target Attackers: Fencer*
7. Single-Target Attackers: Phoenix, Revolver*, Alice*, Javelin*

*Fencer, Revolver, Alice, and Javelin arent nukers, but they are decent options to use in
Champion nonetheless.

[SX] Recommended Team Composition:

Wildtress and/or Captain Sun + 3-4 Nukers
Captain Sun + 3 Nukers + Healer

Things to Note:
[Non-SX] Tank of Choice: Wildtress
1. Why is Wildtress so important?
a. While the introduction of Captain Sun and pet Fran utterly demolished any sort of
utility that Wildtress had in PVP, Wildtress is still a solid option for PVE purposes.
b. Wildtress shield protects your team from damage for the first ten seconds. This
allows your team to block common opening attacks, some of which have CC
effects (i.e. Blowies silence, Tenneses stun, Sapphires mp reduce), either to
give your nukers time to charge their ults or to have free reign to unleash their
ults.
i. Warning: If the opposing team stacks opening attacks, the attacks will get
through. For example, a team including Muppet + Blowie + Angel will not
only rip through WTs shield, but also land Angels initial blind. This is
especially true in the latter parts of mid game when Wildtress shield fails
to keep up with the damage increase.
2. What should I do if my Wildtress dies?
a. If your Wildtress dies, you might want to switch over to Dracula, especially early
game. Dracula can do a fair amount of damage while healing herself. Dracula
cant protect the other BGs like Wildtress can, but at least she can stay alive.
b. Alternatively, you can try using your front-line healers as tanks such as Joan,
Succuba, or Scythe.
c. Some other less bad options are Leona & Litana, both of whom have high
defense, or Sisha & Ninja who both have massive damage reduction.
d. But seriously, dont let your Wildtress die. If she dies in a particular battle, then
immediately quit and retry.
[Non-SX] Nukers
1. Why isnt Lightin on the recommended list?
a. At first glance, her skillset is fantastic. All of her attack skills interrupt, her ult is a
full-team AOE, and like Blowie, her purple skill is a spell power steroid. However,
Lightin has terrible INT growth--a mere 5.2 at 3 stars. For comparisons sake, Lily
has an INT growth of 5.5 at 3 stars, Blowie has an INT growth of 6 at 3 stars,
Lavia has an INT growth of 6.5 at 3 stars, and Annie has an INT growth of 6.6 at
3 stars. Yes, Lightin has a spell power steroid to make up some of that
difference, but Lightins attacks have a low base damage rate, unlike most of the
other INT-based BGs. Nor do they revolve around CC like Lilys to provide extra
utility.
b. Lightin is still usable for Champion perhaps, if youre desperate for options, but
the combination of low base damage and low INT growth cripples her for PVP
purposes.
2. Who is the perfect BG to use?
a. None of them. All of them have issues that youll have to become familiar with.
i. Lily - her mp regain is abysmal early game. To compensate for this, use
Lilys ult later so that she gains the kill bonus.
ii. Annie - While insanely powerful early game, Annie lacks AOE damage on
her ult. She doesnt need the kill bonus as much as Lily does, but Annie
too is best used for cleaning up after other girls have whittled down
enemy health.
Note: the exception is against annoying BGs such as enemy
Caitlyns or other Annies. At the start of the battle, immediately
target Annies ult to those girls.
iii. Blowie - her early game damage damage is abysmal. She really needs
her purple skill to do any sort of damage. Its often best to start off with
Blowies ult to whittle down enemy health before finishing them off with
Annie or Lily.
iv. Lavia - despite solid stats, shes weak early game as her skills dont
provide as high base damage as some of the other BGs (i.e. Annie). Her
ult is also single target and doesnt have the benefit of draining health like
Annies, making Lavia more trouble than shes worth. In Champion where
you want to wipe out the entire team ASAP, her lack of range on her ult
makes her harder to use in early game. But as noted above, Lavia has
fantastic INT growth and becomes quite powerful in the later stages of the
game, especially as BGs become tanky enough to withstand one or even
two AOE ults and then get healed by Nurse or Scythe, rendering your ults
useless. Against such teams, youll want powerful targeted burst attacks
to kill at least one BG before the heals kick in.
v. Amazon/Cynthia - Both are early game monsters as their AOE ults have
fantastic base damage. Amazon is even better considering that she has
fantastic mp regeneration. Keep in mind that they do fall off late mid
game, however. Later use of these girls are to tear the Wildtress shield off
the enemy team.
[SX] Tank of Choice: Cpt Sun
1. Why is Cpt Sun so useful?
a. This should be obvious. Cpt Sun tears down enemy Wildtress shield.
Furthermore, Cpt Suns ult creates clones and directs enemy attention away,
which prevents your BGs from taking damage.
b. Be careful early game though. Cpt Sun doesnt have the best mp regeneration
until much later on in the game.
[SX] DPS/Attackers
1. Why Javelin/Phoenix?
a. This too should be obvious. Not only do they do an obscene amount of damage,
they end battles in less than 10 seconds, especially if you use them together,
making Champion less of a chore.
b. Be careful with Javelin though as she has terrible mp regeneration promotion
before her red promotion and requires kill bonuses to refill her mp.
2. When do I use Revolver or Alice?
a. Usually on the 14th or 15th opponent of Champion when opponents become
more difficult. They can take down enemies reliably but often times, they are
one-time use options. Think of them as safety nets and fill their mp in the first few
stages of Champion.
3. When do I use Sapphire?
a. She has high mp regeneration, so you can use her at any time, but she shines in
the last stages of Champion. The 14th and 15th opponents generally ult almost
immediately. Sapphire reduces enemy mp and delays the ult. The knockback on
Sapphires ult delays enemy ults even further.
4. When do I use Fencer?
a. As noted above, Fencer isnt exactly a nuker, but once she ults, she has massive
AOE damage, life-steal, and rapid mp charge rate. Not as good as Phoenix, but
Fencer can carry you nonetheless.
5. Why is Amelia a terrible option?
a. Her ult requires her counter to reach 20 to do max damage. That takes time, time
in which your BGs can take damage and time youre wasting by being stuck in
Champion (the most boring gamemode).
Game Mode: Guild Events (General)

Once you clear the required stages, youll be allowed to participate in guild events. Guild events
start with Ch7.

In these guild events, youll take turns with your fellow guild members to fight through each of
the stages for each chapter. Youll soon find out that the enemies are much stronger and have a
lot of health. Your aim is to do as much damage as you can while lasting as long as you can.

At the end of each chapter, youll fight the boss for that chapter who will have even more health
than the normal guild event enemies (Chapter 7 boss is Fanny, Chapter 8 boss is Gambler,
Chapter 9 boss is Smartie, etc.).

Note: This section is dedicated to the regular levels of guild events. For bosses, go to the
relevant sections (use the tab on the left).

You generally want three things against guild bosses: damage, attack speed, and sustain.
INT-based girls have fantastic damage and some of them even have sustain (or you can use an
INT-girl to provide sustain), but they are crippled in guild events due to a lack of attack speed.

So most of the time, you should be using AGI-based girls as your DPS. At higher levels (>65,
possibly even >60), most of your AGI-based DPS BGs will have enough lifesteal to survive most
of the battle, so you wont need those healers outside of few specific situations. So you can
focus on maximizing damage.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in (this is not a comprehensive list of all the girls you
could use):
Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Sisha, Zombia, Leona (if youre desperate)
Middle: Aeris
Rear: Jelly, Hottie, Maidam (if youre very, very desperate)
Pet: Bunny (armor reducing)

DPS:
Front: Boxer
Middle: Celeste (team attack & speed buff)*, Gambler (team attack buff), Smartie (AOE
damage on basic attacks)
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria (team attack buff)

*Celeste is a mid-line girl, but acts as the frontline girl if there is no other tank.
Support:
Front: Scythe (team-wide heal + powerful ult to burst enemy), Joan (single target heal +
shields entire team from physical damage), Succuba (single target heal + absorbs heavy
damage to heal herself with her ult)
Middle: Rhea
Rear: Nurse (heals), Sasuke (heals, armor reduction, increased attack speed/power),
Tennese (attack/spell power buff, agility buff, speed buff)
Pet: Pengpeng (team attack buff, speed buff)

[Non-SX] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Standard Physical Damage Comp:
a. Dracula/Aeris, Wild Girl/Boxer, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn
2. Pure Multi-Target Comp:
a. Dracula/Aeris, Celeste/Smartie, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn
3. Hybrid Multi-Target Comp:
a. Dracula/Aeris, Jinx/Samurai, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Armor Reducing:
Front: Werewolf
Middle: N/A
Rear: N/A

DPS:
Front: Fencer (multi-target), Cpt Sun (multi-target)
Middle: Javelin (single-target)*, Ennmaya (multi-target), Wu Kong (all), Amelia (all),
Selene (multi-target)
Rear: Revolver (single-target)*

*While Javelin and Revolver both do single-target damage, they do so much damage that you
should still be using them in multi-target situations.

Support:
Front: N/A
Middle: N/A
Rear: Wraith (progressively fast ults)

[SX] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Standard (Multi-Target) Physical Damage Comp:
a. Werewolf/Dracula/Cpt Sun, Wu Kong, Javelin, Ennmaya/Caitlyn, Revolver
2. Hybrid Damage Comp:
a. Selene Comp: Werewolf/Dracula/Cpt Sun/Revolver, Wu Kong, Javelin, Selene,
Ennmaya/Caitlyn
b. Amelia Comp: Werewolf/Dracula/Cpt Sun/Revolver, Wu Kong, Javelin,
Ennmaya/Caitlyn, Amelia

Things to Note:
[Non-SX] Armor Break/Armor Reduction
1. Who are the recommended options?
a. The recommended non-SX options for armor reduction are Rosie, Dracula, Aeris,
and Hottie.
i. Aeris - With the introduction of Aeris, Rosie no longer has the greatest
single-target armor reduction in the game. That honor now belongs to
Aeris. Furthermore, Aeris armor reduction is multi-target as well, allowing
her to be used in different situations. However, while Aeris does have
fantastic armor reduction values, she doesnt use this skill very frequently.
ii. Rosie - Unlike others on this list, Rosies armor reduction is a physical
attack, but its single target and only lasts 10 seconds. Rosie does use
this skill a bit more frequently than Aeris, however.
iii. Dracula - Draculas armor reduction does magical damage, is
multi-target, and lasts quite long. The value of the armor reduction is
relatively low, however.
iv. Hottie - Hotties single-target armor reduction is the lowest among the
four, but lasts the longests and stacks. Hottie can stack up to 3 armor
breaks. It still doesnt match Rosies or Aeris but Hottie has at least one
armor break debuff active at all times.
b. For multi-target situations, Dracula or Aeris are the preferred options. Draculas
blood mist has greater range and covers more enemies than Aeris Bubble
Wonder and lasts much longer.
[Non-SX] Unusual DPS options:
1. Smarties ult does no damage, so why is she a recommended option?
a. Unfortunately, there arent very many solid choices among non-SX girls,
especially for multi-target DPS. Smartie does abysmal single-target damage, but
she is unique in that her basic attacks do team-wide damage. Consequently,
each basic attack does anywhere from 2 to 5 times more damage than the basic
attacks of other BGs. This does add up
2. Why is Jinx recommended?
a. There are situations where youll fight against high defense enemies (i.e. Bud-elf,
Leona, Chevalier) or physically immune enemies. Jinx comes in handy in these
situations as they have mixed damage.
b. Jinxs purple skill is an attack speed steroid, which gives her comparable speed
to agility based girls on her basic attacks. As such, Jinx operates similarly to
agility girls but with magic skills.
3. Who is Samurai?
a. Shes an exclusive recharge girl who probably wont be offered again. Not quite
SX, but not quite F2P either. She does massive AOE damage over time to the
enemys frontline and works well in conjunction with Dracula and Caitlyn.
[SX] DPS options
1. Why do I use Javelin and Revolver even in multi-target situations?
a. Both do massive amount of damage regardless of the situation. Caitlyn and
Ennmaya are queens of multi-target damage, but Javelin can still match their
respective damages.
b. Revolver doesnt do nearly as much damage, but provides increased damage
and accuracy to the team.
2. When would I use Selene or Amelia?
a. Selene does provide a team-wide buff (random buff), but her real use is her
Nightmare skill, which is triggered when allies summon or clone. She does
significant AOE damage each time a summoning or cloning takes place.
Naturally, she goes very well with Wu Kong and Cpt Sun. While Selene is
normally trash tier, her damage in multi-target situations with Wu Kong in the
lineup is no joke.
b. Amelia is useful in many ways. She has fantastic AOE damage (she
automatically attacks 3 enemies when her allies use skills along with her powerful
ult) and she buffs her fastest ally (who cycled through the most skills) with an
attack speed/spell power buff along with a shield. The spell power is useless for
guild event purposes, but giving Javelin extra speed is far from useless.
Moreover, the shield protects Javelin and prevents her from being killed or CCd.
[SX] Support BGs: Wraith
1. When is it appropriate to use Wraith?
a. Wraith works best with Fencer. The limiting factor on Fencers damage is her
slow mp gain and with Wraiths ability to lower the mp limit, this is match made in
heaven. After her first ult, Fencer will be in a permanent state of ult and will do
massive damage. Wu Kong, Cpt Sun, Revolver are also solid options to use with
Wraith. Caitlyn, Ennmaya, and Javelin, the highest damage dealers, dont really
benefit from Wraith and are often wasted spots on Wraith teams since none of
them has trouble with refilling mp.
i. In other words, Wraith teams are inefficient. Depending on your server,
Wraith teams may still rank in the top-3.
b. Still, using Wraith helps when enemy teams deal massive damage. The
possession will immediately take one of the enemies out and give your team
breathing space to get their skills off. This is important in the later chapters when
enemies become obscenely strong.
c. Wraith is far less useful against bosses after the nerf. Wraith can longer possess
bosses and her ult no longer affects bosses either.
[ALL] Do I need tanks? Do I need healers?
1. Tanks: Until late game, youll probably need a tank, whether thats Dracula, Rosie,
Fencer, or Werewolf. Later on, however, you can use Wu Kong as your tank as her
clones provide sufficient distraction.
2. Healers: It depends on which guild chapter and which level. For the most part, no. But
when you first hit Guild Chapter 7 and later on in Guild Chapter 13, you may want to use
Nurse or Scythe for a bit of sustain. As with the normal campaign chapters, enemy
health and damage skyrockets at Chapter 13.
[ALL] Pets
1. Which pet do I use?
a. You have two choices: Bunny or Pengpeng. Bunny provides interrupts and armor
reduction. Pengpeng provides an attack buff. If youre going for the top damage,
Bunnys armor reduction will help you far more than Pengpengs buff.
b. Later stages will require you to use Bobo or Ricky for survival purposes. But even
those situations are few and far between. Use Bunny.
Guild Boss Introduction & Fanny Boss

This section will cover a bit of guild bosses in general and will also focus specifically on Fanny
Boss.

Fanny Boss is the weakest of the bosses, although not necessarily the most straightforward
(that honor goes to Gambler Boss).

If youre at lvl 65+, Fanny doesnt do a tremendous amount of damage to you, so you can forgo
using Nurse, Scythe, or any other healers.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in (this is not a comprehensive list of all the girls you
could use):
Armor Reducing:

Front: Fencer, Sonya
Middle: Javelin, Wu Kong, Amelia
Rear: Revolver

Support:

[SX] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Standard Boost-Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Nona/Jelly/Rhea
2. Double Armor Break Physical Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Jelly/Hottie
3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note (General):

[Non-SX] Armor Break/Armor Reduction
1. Who are the recommended options?
a. For single-target situations, Jelly, Rosie, Hottie, or Aeris are the preferred
options.
1. Aeris also has spell resist reduction, so she works amazingly well
in teams with hybrid damage.
ii. Rosie - Unlike others on this list, Rosies armor reduction is a physical
attack, but its single target and only lasts 10 seconds. Rosie does use
this skill a bit more frequently than Aeris, however.
1. Rosie (and Aeris) go better with girls with burst damage such as
Boxer and Pandaria. Make sure to ult during the debuff.
iii. Hottie - Hotties single-target armor reduction is the lowest among the
four, but lasts the longests and stacks. Hottie can stack up to 3 armor
breaks. It still doesnt match Rosies or Aeris but Hottie has at least one
armor break debuff active at all times.
1. Hottie goes better with girls with steady DPS like Caitlyn and Wild
Girl
iv. Jelly - Jellys armor reduction value isnt fantastic, but like Hotties, it
stacks. Unlike Hotties, it stacks to higher values than Rosies or Aeris
debuffs. Furthermore, Jelly boosts physical attack as well, giving yet
another source of increased power.
c. Note: Rosie is the only one useful against enemies that are immune to magic
damage.
2. Whats so great about Hottie?
a. Aside from her DPS, Hottie is unusual in that most of her damage comes from
sustained damage (DOT), which is increased by spell power. This means that her
base damage is relatively high and scales with level (and spell power) instead of
physical attack.
i. That means that she does not benefit as much from Gamblers or
Pandarias attack buff. Nor does she benefit as much from armor
reduction as her skills are based on spell power.
ii. Because her DOT attack scales linearly with level and not physical attack,
which explosively increases with each promotion, eventually her DPS will
fall off.
[Non-SX] DPS options: Wild Girl
1. Should I get Wild Girl?
a. If youre an SX user with Javelin, Fencer, Wu Kong, and Revolver, probably not.
But as a non-SX player? It depends. See below:
i. Wild Girl vs Hottie: All things being equal, at lower levels, Hottie does a bit
more damage. At higher levels, Wild Girl does much more damage.
However, Wild Girl doesnt enhance the damage of the other BGs like
Hottie does with her armor reduction. And Wild Girls use is limited to only
guild bosses whereas Hottie can be used in Infinity as well. If you have to
prioritize one of them, especially in the early stages of the game, focus on
Hottie.
ii. Wild Girl vs Caitlyn: Against single targets, their damage roughly comes
out to being equal. If youre lazy and use the auto function, Wild Girl will
consistently outdamage Caitlyn against single targets. However, if Caitlyn
is used properly (meaning not using her ult until her counter reaches 30),
Caitlyn should have the edge. And against multiple targets, its Caitlyn
and its not even close.
iii. Wild Girl vs Pandaria/Gambler: At higher levels, Wild Girl does
significantly more damage than either. However, Wild Girl doesnt have a
team-wide attack steroid like Gambler and Pandaria. Considering that
Gambler and Pandaria both have uses outside of boss fights, Id focus on
prioritizing them over Wild Girl.
iv. In short, Wild Girl is only useful if youre regularly trying to score the
highest damage in your guild at higher levels. Be warned, however. Wild
Girl wont be enough to help you overcome SX users for the highest
server damage.
[Non-SX] Support options: [Armor-Reducers], Tennese, Sasuke, Rhea
1. Why is Tennese not recommended?
a. While Tennese does provide a speed buff, agility buff, AND a physical attack
buff, only the agility buff lasts beyond the first ten seconds of battle. Agility does
provide a greater boost that the physical damage buff that Gambler and Pandaria
provides, but those two provide more than enough damage on their own to
compensate for this.
2. Is Sasuke a decent option as support?
a. Yes. While Sasukes skill-set appears to be heavily RNG-dependent does lead to
somewhat inconsistent results, a team supported by her regularly does just as
much damage as a team supported by Hottie.
3. Is Rhea a decent option as support?
a. Yes. Shes fantastic. While she doesnt have armor reduction abilities, she makes
up for this by increasing the teams attack speed. She does this often enough
(along with her clone) that the lack of armor break isnt too much of a problem.
4. Who is the best support?
a. Jelly is probably the best support as she offers dual methods of increasing the
teams power. If RNG goes perfectly in your favor, a Sasuke-supported team can
out-damage a Jelly-supported team, but this doesnt happen consistently. After
Jelly, Rhea offers the most consistent results, followed by Hottie, Rosie, Sasuke,
and Aeris.
[SX] Support options: Nona
1. Is Nona useful?
a. One of the recent 4888s released Nona who appeared to be utter garbage,
especially compared to her awesome counterpart Hexa. But Nona ended up
taking the spot as the queen of support in bossing.
b. Nonas ult does a massive percentage increase in damage for the allied team
and activations of her chess pieces increases attack and attack speed. Certain
Nona teams dont even require armor breaks as the percentage increase in
damage is more than enough to compensate.
c. Nona has the fastest mp regain in the entire game and can put the enemy boss
in a state of near-permanent king status.

Things to Note (for Fanny Boss):

[ALL] Issues with Frontline
1. Why are frontliners such as Boxer, Fencer, and Sonya not recommended?
a. Fanny occasionally reduces the MP of the front line. Boxer, Fencer, and Sonya
will only get a single ult off (if youre lucky) throughout the entire battle. Against
Fanny Boss, for the frontline, its better use a BG who can do her job without
relying on her ult such as Rosie, Guan Yin, or Werewolf (who doesnt need to
transform against bosses)
b. The isnt to say that you cant use Boxer (or Fencer/Sonya), but its just not very
efficient to do so.
i. For example, a lineup of Boxer, Gambler, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, and Hottie will
do quite a bit of damage, but it wont be doing as much as the
recommended ones above.
ii. Using Sonya or Fencer may work as they can stun Fanny Boss before
Fanny uses her ult. However, it requires a bit of luck for that to happen at
the right times.
Gambler Boss

As mentioned above, Gambler Boss is the most straightforward of all the bosses. Gambler
doesnt really have tricks and youll want to keep your full DPS lineup in.

However, keep in mind that Gambler does massive amounts of damage for her level. Her AOE
ult can destroy your entire team even if your BGs are in the mid-80s. Still, it shouldnt really
change your strategy to take her on. Healing is unnecessary here because if your BGs survive,
then theyll be able to regain their life through life-steal. If your BGs die, well, healing wont help
them because theyre dead.

2. Double Armor Break Physical Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Jelly/Hottie
3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[ALL] Health
1. Keep an eye on your Hotties/Rosies health
a. If you dont have Jelly, Hottie is still recommended against Gambler Boss.
However, before her P+4 promotion, Hottie has no life-steal. If Gambler attacks
Hottie, she wont be able to recover. If you find that your Hottie is dying
mid-battle, you might simply want to keep Rosie/Werewolf (or even Dracula,
given her sustain) as the lone armor reducer and replace Hottie with a DPS
option
b. The same goes for Rosie if youre a non-SX user. Rosie does have life-steal, but
its a pitiful amount since she doesnt do enough damage to absorb health. If you
find that Rosie is dying too quickly, switch over to Dracula as Dracula has
fantastic sustain.
[ALL] Flexibility
1. Keep an open mind for other team comps
a. There are other variations of teams you can use. Gambler is so simple and
doesnt require a specific composition to fight her.
[SX] Frontline
Who do I use?
Sonya has burst and the ability to interrupt Gambler during her ult.
Fencer, however, does more damage overall.
As noted above in the introductory section for guilds, Wu Kong can function as a
tank.
[SX] Damage Value
1. Who does the most damage?
a. In my experience, assuming no interruptions or CC, Javelin does the combined
damage of Wu Kong and Revolver. Revolver does a bit less damage than Wu
Kong, but Revolver provides a damage boost to everyone on the team. Fencer,
unfortunately, falls short in single-target damage.
Smartie Boss

Smartie Boss is the first boss that will give you a headache. After a certain point, Smartie Boss
uses her ult and freezes your entire team. Normally, this wouldnt be a problem. It would be a
few seconds of lost damage, but otherwise no harm would be done. However, immediately after
your BGs unfreeze, Smartie Boss ults again. Eventually, one of two things happen: (1) your BGs
die from the constant stream of Smarties basic attacks since theyre no longer attacking and
stealing life away, or (2) your BGs remain frozen for the remainder of the battle. Either option
isnt particularly desirable for a fast clear time or setting the highest server damage.

b. Note: Alice used to go behind Smartie Boss. This was patched on 12/16/2016
and no longer works.
2. Stun/Interrupt Comp:

a. Werewolf/Rosie/Jelly, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Hottie
6. Standard Physical Damage Comp:
a. Werewolf/Rosie/Rhea/Jelly, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Guan Yin

Things to Note:
[ALL] Team Comps
1. Naturally, the standard team comps used for Fanny and Gambler will be doing less
damage, which is why they are ranked lower in the recommended team comp sections.
2. Pet Bunny
a. Thanks to Pet Bunny, you no longer need to use complicated comps. Use the
standard team comp and make sure to save Bunnys ult for when Smartie goes
into her ult animation.
3. Stun/Interrupt
a. Haxie, Rosie, Dracula, Boxer, and Sonya all have stuns (or interrupts), which can
delay or prevent Smartie from using her ult. Haxie has frequent stuns and both
Haxie, Rosie, Boxer, and Sonya have ults that you can manually use to stun or
interrupt Smartie Boss when you see her beginning her ult animation. The timing
for this can be difficult for novices.
i. [SX] You can double up by using Sonya and Rosie to have multiple
interrupts available to you, but this will naturally reduce your damage
output.
4. Ult Prevention
a. Samurais ult delays Smarties ult as long as Samurai has mp to burn. To
maximize the efficacy of Samurais ult, you want to make sure you use it at the
right time. Smartie wont ult until a certain amount of time has passed, so you
dont want to ult too early with Samurai. After all, you want to ult at the last
possible moment to maximize the time Smartie isnt ulting. It may take a few tries
to get the timing right, but eventually, youll be able to limit Smarties ult to one or
two. And if Smartie does ult, immediately set your game mode to auto so that
Samurai ults immediately after unfreezing (to prevent Smartie from ulting again).
b. Wraith used to be fantastic for Smartie, as her possess would prevent Smartie
from ulting, but this has been patched.
5. [SX]: Turn Smartie Boss around
a. Psychics ult allows her to summon a creature behind Smartie Boss. This turns
Smartie around. If Smartie ults while facing away, your team wont get frozen.
Again, the timing here is important. If the summon dies before Smartie ults, your
efforts will have been for naught.
b. When Werewolf jumps, she occasionally lands behind Smartie Boss and turns
her around as well. This doesnt always happen though.
c. Alice used to go behind Smartie Boss. This was patched on 12/16/2016 and no
longer works.
d. Silvia may seem like a nice option for non-SX players, but she does not go
behind Smartie.
Annie Boss

Annie Boss is fairly straight-forward although sometimes youll want to throw your device out the
window. Like players Annies, Annie Boss has a lock-down skill. However, Annie Boss leaves
your BG derping for a huge chunck of time (longer than the players Annie does) and reduces
mp. If youre an SX user, pray that Annie doesnt lock down Javelin. Annies damage, while
massive, however, isnt all that much to worry about. She generally tends to ult on the tank (not
Javelin), because the tank has the least amount of lifesteal and sustain on the team. This is
important to keep in mind when selecting a tank.

3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[ALL] Interrupts
1. When Annie ults, the ideal strategy is to interrupt her. For non-SX users, Rosie is the
perfect choice here. Even a P+3 Rosie can tank Annies ult long enough to get her own
ult off in time and stun Annie. For SX users, Sonya is a viable option (although you may
want to use Rosie as well for her armor break). SX users using Wu Kong usually dont
have to worry about this as Annie often ults on the clones.
Angel Boss

Angel Boss is a potentially annoying boss. Angel Boss has blind and massive damage on her
Angel Kamehameha. Furthermore, she seems to have a unique skill that reduces a BGs health
to almost zero. This is probably the first boss where you could potentially be feeling the pinch of
having undergeared BGs (i.e. Hottie, Rosie).

3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[ALL] Team Comps
1. The normal team comps work best here. Angel doesnt have much defense and youll
probably find yourself doing more damage to Angel than you do to Annie (if you have
both chapters open). Angels blinds dont last long and for SX-users, Revolvers
accuracy buff allows the team to shrug it off. If the ult is giving you trouble, you could
potentially throw in Alice to turn Angel Boss around. At the moment, this has not been
patched for Angel Boss. That being said, using Alice will cost you a lot of time as her ult
animation is one of the longest in the game. This will prevent you from doing damage
during that time. If you use Alice, make sure to only use her ult when you are
simultaneously ulting with other BGs to increase efficiency.
[ALL] Pets
1. Bunny is still by far the best option. But if youre having trouble surviving, Haro or Ricky
can help. If youre having trouble with the blinds, use Yoba. Otherwise, use Bunny.
Aquaris Boss

Aquaris Boss is annoying in a different way from Angel Boss. Aquaris wont kill you, but shell
stun you and prevent you from doing as much damage as youd like. Aquaris Boss is a bit
trickier however as she has multiple forms of cc even without her ult. Furthermore, Aquaris Boss
drastically increases her attack speed, thus cycling through her skills faster, after her awakening
transformation.

3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[ALL] Interrupts
1. The strategy here is similar to the one use for Annie Boss. Interrupt Aquaris ult.
2. The only problem is that Aquaris has multiple forms of CC. Unfortunately, you cant stop
all of them. You have to pick your poison. You can either prevent Aquaris from swinging
her umbrella and knocking your team up, or you can prevent her from ulting and
stunning most of your team. I personally choice to stop the ults as they were easier to
predict (hint: they always came after the team-wide knockup, not to mention Aquaris
Boss starts elevating slowly to in preparation for her ult).
[SX] Pet Yoba
1. The one viable strategy for SX users is to simply use Yoba. Yoba will ult and protect
Javelin from Aquaris CC. The other BGs will be affected of course, but Javelin does
more damage than the other BGs combined so other girls being stunned wont be as big
of a problem.
Guan Yin Boss

Guan Yin Boss will easily be the hardest boss (up to this point). When you first gain the ability to
hit guild Ch13, youre nowhere near where you should be in terms of strength. Man guilds takes
over a month just trying to get to the boss. And when they do, they find that only 2-3 people
have enough power to do any sort of damage on Guan Yin Boss.

3. Pure Damage Comp:
a. Guan Yin, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[Non-SX] Armor Reduction/Armor Break
1. Forget Hottie and Aeris against Guan Yin. When Guan Yin does her twirl, she becomes
immune to magic damage. Hotties and Aeris armor reduction skills are both
magic-based. This doesnt mean both are useless against Guan Yin, but there is a pretty
big drop off in efficiency. Use Rosie.
2. The only problem is Rosie is that shell be the tank and actually have to tank. While P+4
Rosie should be strong enough to survive until the end, occasionally, Guan Yin crits on
Rosie multiple times in a row and takes her out of the battle. There are several options
here.
a. You can gear Rosie to Orange.
b. You may want to use a healer to make sure Rosie stays alive.
c. Or you can let Rosie die and hope that your DPS has enough lifesteal to survive
tanking and the AOE damage from Guan Yin.
d. Or you can to switch to Leona or Sisha. They have far less armor reduction, but
they have significantly higher survivability, provided of course they are geared.
3. Jelly is a fantastic option if you care to pay attention.
a. Jellys ult is magic-based, but its manual, meaning that you can time her ult to
activate during the times where Guan Yin Boss is vulnerable.
[SX] Heals/Survivability
1. SX users generally dont have to worry about survivability, unless of course, youre using
Rosie as your tank. Werewolf isnt exactly tankier than Rosie, but she should be better
geared and thus more likely to survive.
Androi Boss

Androi Boss is a bit tricky, especially for SX users. She has a skill that locks down your
front-most girl. Considering that this is usually Javelin who does the most damage, this is
problem. And even for non-SX users, this can be a problem for those who rely heavily on Boxer
to do a chunk of damage.

a. Guan Yin/Amelia, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Jelly/Hottie
4. Pure Damage Comp (requires Yoba or Amelia):
a. Guan Yin/Amelia, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Gambler

Things to Note:
[ALL] Decoy
1. Boxer and Javelin stand out in front of all the other girls and as such, theyll be locked
down by Androis skill. The interesting thing is that Androis skill locks down the
front-most opponent, regardless of whether this is a BG or not.
a. Note: Wu Kong clones do not stand in front of Javelin, although they do stand in
front of Boxer sporadically.
2. Aeris summons teeth to do damage to enemies. These teeth stand closer to the enemy
then any BG, including Javelin. So when Androi uses her banishing skill, the teeth get
sent away and not the BG.
3. [Non-SX] Non-SX users without Aeris (or the proper pets) might want to put Rosie in the
front alone instead of using Boxer and using mid/rear DPS to hit Androi. This isnt a
perfect solution, but it is better than letting Boxer derp for the entire battle.
[SX] Amelias shield
1. Amelia provides a shield to the fastest BG (the one who cycled through the most skills).
The first shield will always go to Amelia. Subsequent shield will always go to Javelin.
This protects Javelin from the banishing skill. Its not perfect, however, because Androi
Boss might catch Javelin when she doesnt have the shield.
[ALL] Pet Yoba/Ricika
1. For those without or unwilling to use Aeris or Amelia, youll need to use Yoba. Yobas ult
prevents CC from affecting the BG with the highest attack. For SX users, this will almost
always be Javelin unless Wu Kong has 10+ clones active. For non-SX users, youll have
to look carefully at your stats window for each individual girl to see if Boxer has the
highest attack. If she doesnt, youll have to use Ricika, who automatically ults on the
front-most BG, unlike Yoba.
2. Yoba provide an attack Buff, as mentioned in the discussion about Bunny & Pengpeng,
and attack buff generally isnt as good as an armor reduction on the enemy. Still, it does
compensate a bit for the loss in damage. Ricika, however, doesnt provide any benefit
with regards to damage. But still, thats better than having Boxer banished/locked down.
Ninja Boss

Ninja Boss is probably the most straight-forward boss of the upper levels. She does have a bit
of mp reduction with her ult, but she doesnt hit hard and its possible to deal with her ult
permanently so that it doesnt affect you. It does, however, require pet Bunny and timing its ult
just as Ninja is about to ult for the first time.

Game Mode: Valhalla

As soon as a player in your server hits lvl 90, it will unlock the Valhalla Game Mode. For those
of your familiar with the no-longer-offered Trials, this is essentially the second set of trials.

Valhalla Scythe

Valhalla Scythe can be annoying to deal with. At random intervals, Scythe summons bats to
pester your team, drawing away fire from herself. Dont underestimate the bats; they cant
one-shot you like Scythes ultimate, but they can whittle away what little health you have left if
you survive Scythes ult.

SX replacement: Wraith (ult timer reduction)

Strategies:
There is no best lineup against Scythe. Ive tried multiple lineups and got similar results. So
instead of a recommended team composition section, I decided to change it to a strategies
section. You can try mixing and matching different aspects of the strategies listed below.

F2P options: to be honest, you wont be doing much damage. Try to borrow a Javelin or
Phoenix from someone in your guild if you can.
1. Sustain-DPS: Ninja, Sisha, Scythe, Boxer, Nurse/Succuba/Caitlyn/Wild
Girl/Gambler/Pandaria
a. Ninja and Sisha do a fair amount of damage if they can survive. Scythe and
Nurse/Succuba are there to insure that they do. Furthermore, Ninja and Sisha do
AOE damage, so the bats are less of a concern even if they spawn.
b. Boxer is a solid DPS option against Valhalla Scythe as she remains close to
Scythe. Manually ult on Valhalla Scythe when there are no bats nearby for
maximum effect.
c. If you dont need Succuba for sustain, use any of the DPS options. Id
recommend Caitlyn or Wild Girl as they have the best sustain among the DPS
options, even if they do have the least amount of team synergy.
2. Standard AGI-DPS: Boxer, Rosie/Dracula/Scythe/Nurse, Gambler, Caitlyn, Wild Girl
a. DPS: Wild Girl will probably be your best friend in this one towards the end
(provided she survives that long). With enough boosts, she can one-shot the bats
and clear them out really quickly. Caitlyn is also a nice option as her penetrate
can hit multiple bats at once (although she wont be able to build up speed as
much). Boxer is preferable to Pandaria here because Boxer will mostly focus on
the boss even when the bats spawn as many of the bats will be spawning
mid/rear.
b. Offensive Support: Gambler is present mostly for her buff, although shell do a
decent amount of damage herself. Gambler is preferable to Tennese or Pandaria
here because her basic attacks and skills do more damage than Tenneses and
her ult is far more reliable than Pandarias (has a higher chance to land on
Scythe, even with multiple enemies around).

SX options:
1. All-Front + Javelin Lineup: Javelin, Scythe, [DPS - Fencer/Boxer], [Armor Reducer -
Rosie/Dracula/Sisha], [Interrupter - Sonya/Ninja/Boxer/Samurai]
a. DPS: Javelin is the primary DPS option here, although Fencer or Boxer add a bit.
To prevent Javelin from wasting too much time killing the bats and then trotting
over to Valhalla Scythe, we use an all-front lineup to ensure that the bats only
spawn near Valhalla Scythe.
b. Support: Scythe is mainly there for healing to make sure that your Javelin doesnt
get killed by the bats after Scythes first ult. At P+4, possibly even P+3, Javelin
can survive Scythes ult if she has full life, but she can get killed by the bats that
quickly spawn while shes stunned. Also, youll find that your Scythe will do quite
a bit of damage so this isnt a wasted spot.
c. Armor Reducer: it may seem like a wasted spot, but its often better to boost
Javelins damage than trying to put in another DPS
d. Interrupter: Honestly, it should just be Sonya for this role, but I understand that no
everyone has multiple SX BGs. Save Sonyas ult until Valhalla Scythe begins her
ult animation (the huge swing). Sonyas ult will interrupt Valhalla Scythes ult and
save you time you need to be doing damage. And it can save your Javelin if
Javelin happened to be at less than full life when Valhalla Scythe begins her ult
animation.
i. Ninja has damage reduction and decent amount of DPS. Her debuff
doesnt prevent Scythes ult (and her silencing doesnt work against
Valhalla bosses) but it does reduce the amount of damage your BGs take.
ii. Samurai prevents Scythes ult rather than interrupt, but this merely delays
her ult.
iii. Use Boxer if you dont have any other option. You might as well get some
damage out of this roster spot if youre not going to be able to stop
Scythes ult.
2. Burst Mixed DPS Lineup: Javelin, Phoenix, Sonya, Samurai, Scythe/Fencer/Boxer
a. DPS: Again, Javelin is the primary DPS option here, although you can add in
Fencer or Boxer in place of Scythe, if you want more damage instead of sustain.
b. Bat Removal: Samurai and Phoenix can kill the bats faster than any other BG.
This saves Javelin time and allows her to do more damage on the actual boss.
c. Interrupt
3. Interrupter-DPS: Sonya, Fencer, Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver
a. No explanations really needed here. Personally, I found that Revolver was next
to useless as shed spend most of her time killing bats. But that allows the others
to do massive damage to Scythe.
b. Samurai is a nice replacement for any of them outside of Sonya or Javelin.

Things to Note:
Armor Debuffers
1. Hottie - In guild chapters, Hottie is almost always used as the armor debuffer, even over
Rosie at times. But against Valhalla Scythe, Hottie is quite useless. Both her armor
debuff and her ult lands quite often on the bats, making it a waste of DPS and armor
debuff.
2. Dracula/Rosie - neither of them land 100% of their armor debuffs as well. However,
because of their proximity to the boss, they land more of their skills and attacks on the
boss. Unlike Hottie, who immediately focuses on any bat that spawns, Dracula and
Rosie only focus on the bats that spawn in the very front. This is the same rationale for
using Boxer over Pandaria as your DPS option.
Valhalla Fanny

Valhalla Fanny is fairly simple. Shes basically a stronger version of Guild Boss Fanny. The one
difference here is that Valhalla Fanny can aim her mp reduction at any of your girls, instead of
just your front line like Guild Boss Fanny does.

However, Valhalla Fanny is very strong. Like all trial/valhalla bosses, the more damage you do,
the stronger they get. Eventually, Valhalla Fanny becomes strong enough to kill your BGs in one
hit.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Zombia, Sisha, Leona
SX replacement: Werewolf
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie

DPS:
Front: Boxer
SX replacement: Fencer, Sonya
Middle: Gambler
SX replacement: Javelin, Wu Kong, Phoenix
Rear: Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria
SX replacement: Revolver

Support
Front: Wildtress (shielding), Ninja (damage reduction), Sisha (damage return), Succuba
(healing, magic damage reduction)
SX replacement: Sonya (interrupt ult)
Middle: Annie (magic resist)
Rear: Nurse (healing)
SX replacement: Wraith (ult timer reduction)

Strategies:
The strategy you use is pretty much the same. However, the results will be highly variable. Just
hope and pray that Fanny doesnt crit on your DPS halfway through the match.

F2P options: as with Valhalla Scythe, without SX girls (Javelin or Revolver) you wont be doing
much damage.
1. Standard AGI-DPS: Rosie, Boxer, Gambler, Caitlyn, Pandaria/Tennese
2. Armor Reduction-DPS: Rosie, Boxer, Gambler, Caitlyn, Hottie/Sisha

SX options:
1. Standard AGI-DPS: [Armor Reducer - Rosie/Hottie], Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver,
Fencer/Gambler
a. DPS: Wu Kong will be your best friend here, more so than Javelin. Javelin may
do more damage, but Wu Kongs clones give you some cover against Fannys
attacks, especially if your Wu Kong is awakened. Fanny may crit on a clone
instead of your actual girls, allowing your Javelin and Revolver to continue to slug
Valhalla Fanny.
2. Interrupter-DPS: [Armor Reducer - Rosie/Hottie], Wu Kong, Javelin, Revolver, Sonya
a. Interrupter: I personally havent found much success with this, but Sonya can
interrupt Fannys ult as well. Fanny doesnt have as long of an ult animation as
Scythe does so getting the timing right on this is harder. But if you succeed, you
can increase the chance that your BGs stay alive.

Things to Note:
Is Wild Girl good for Valhalla Fanny?
3. No. Shes terrible. Heres why:
a. The more damage that Fanny takes, the stronger she gets. Half-way through the
battle, she will begin to hit hard enough to one-shot your girls. Considering that
the bulk of Wild Girls damage comes in the last 30 seconds of a battle, this
means that Wild Girl could end up dying without having done much individual
damage if Fanny crits on her at the 60 second mark.
Sisha vs Hottie
Normally youd be using Hottie as your armor reducer. However, it might be better to use
Sisha. Sisha has roughly the equivalent armor reduction as 3 stacks of Hotties armor
reduction (although it doesnt last as long) and has both damage reflect + damage
reduction. Sisha also has lifesteal at lower promotions and a larger amount of lifesteal,
so she wont find her health getting whittled away like Hotties will.
SX: Fanny is preventing my BGs from ulting. What do I do?
First choice would be to use Wu Kong as her clones are decoys.
But if you dont have Wu Kong, but have Wraith, you might want to use her against
Valhalla Fanny. Yes, your potential DPS will fall off massively, but youll find that your
damage will be stable over multiple attempts. Wraith increasingly lowers the mp limit for
your ult so your BGs will get their ults off much faster.
Note that Wraith will always die mid-battle as she has very little sustain. Unlike
with guild bosses where the last 30 seconds involve your BGs constantly ulting,
the benefit to using Wraith is to get that first or second ult off faster.
Valhalla Wild Girl

Valhalla Wild Girl is also fairly simple and straightforward although the problems that existed
with Valhalla Fanny are present here as well. Wild Girl not only gets stronger with more damage
she takes (like all Valhalla bosses), she also gets stronger each time she ults. If you cant blind
her, youll probably die after Wild Girls first or second ult.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

Soon to come!

Or perhaps never...if you have questions, please ask on Reddit or Discord. Its not worth
updating this section when Valhalla is a one-time event that takes 2-3 days to finish for each
boss.
Game Mode: Infinity

This is a game mode that unlocks at lvl 55. There is a rotation of bosses every day, which youll
have to fight in order to gain drops and stamina food.

Infinity Nine-Tail Fox

This is probably a boss that youll find difficult at first. Basically, the goal is to survive while
Kurama Ninetails kills itself. Ninetails does magic damage on its ult. The swipes are physical
damage, but you generally dont have to worry about those.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Front:
1. Wildtress (shielding)
2. Ninja (damage reduction)
3. Scythe (AOE healing)
4. Joan (single-target healing, single-target magic shield)
5. Succuba (single-target healing, magic damage reduction)
6. Dracula (massive sustain)
Middle:
1. Annie (spell resist buff)
Rear:
1. Nurse (healing, hp redistribution)
2. Geisha (massive team-wide healing)
Pet:
1. Ricky (spell resist buff & heal)

[ALL] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Stage 1-6:
a. [Tank], [Healer], [Healer], [Healer], [Healer]
2. Stages 7+
a. Ninja/Wildtress/Witch, Succuba, Nurse, [Healer], [Healer]

Things to Note:
[ALL] Basic Strategy
1. At lower levels, you probably dont have some of the required BG, such as Dracula,
Scythe, and Nurse. So instead of using five BGs, try using fewer BGs. This strategy
works even at hghier stages (see below), although it probably wouldnt work as well for
the highest stages.
2. A sample team using common BGs you should definitely have by lvl 55 would be:
Wildtress, Joan, Geisha - Pet Ricky/Haro
a. The reasoning behind this is that Joan has a single-target heal. With fewer BGs
taking damage, there are fewer BGs to heal and shield. This strategy also works
if you use Succuba in place of or in addition to Joan. This strategy doesnt work
as well if Joan and Geisha have fewer than 3 stars.
3. For stages 7+, youre probably going to need Succuba and Nurse. Nurse is obviously the
best healer in the game and Succuba reduces magic damage taken by your team.
[SX]: Alice Bug
1. There is currently a bug in the game that allows Alice, an SX girl, to do massive damage
to Ninetails with her ult with her ult. See below:
Infinity Monkey King

Monkey King is immune to magic damage and can only be hit by physical damage.
Furthermore, Monkey King shields itself when its HP falls to zero in order to regenerate its
health.

Assuming you have all the BGs available for all the bosses, this is probably the hardest boss. At
the earlier stages (Stage 1-4), all you need to do is get the timing correct with Pandaria and
maybe one other BG. Stage 5 and 6, the margin of error will be thinner and youll need more of
the recommended BGs. Stage 7 and up, youll need either difficult to obtain girls like Anna or
Silvia or SX BGs like Revolver and Wu Kong, or youll need to gear up highly niche girls like
Shamoke.

[SX] Recommended Team Composition (these are a few examples - SX users have a lot
more options):
1. Stage 1 and 2:
a. [any], [any], [any], [any], Revolver
2. Stages 3 through 6:
a. Healing:
i. Scythe, Sonya/Wu Kong, Revolver, Pandaria, Nurse/Geisha
b. Damage:

i. Silvia, Scythe/Nurse/Geisha, Sonya, Pandaria, Revolver
ii. Silvia, Witch, Sonya, Pandaria, Revolver
b. Shielded:
i. Shamoke/Anna/Boxer, Sonya, Witch, Pandaria, Revolver
c. Early Breath Attack Comp (see below*):
i. Alice, Sonya, Witch, Pandaria, Revolver

Things to Note:
[ALL] Basic Strategy
1. All you need to do is wait until Monkey Kings health (the red bar) reaches very close to
zero and then unleash any ult that does physical damage.
a. Remember to include Pengpengs or Bunnys attacks, which are physical and do
damage to Monkey King.
2. In rough order of usefulness: Revolver, Pandaria, Alice, Silvia, Wu Kong, Anna, Boxer,
Sonya, Shamoke, Javelin, Caitlyn, Gambler
a. This is based on the number of hits they can perform on demand. For example,
Revolver, Pandaria, and Alice all manage 12 hits. Gambler manages only 3 hits.
b. In the case of a tie, other factors (i.e. tankiness, timing issues) are considered.
For example, Alices ult is incredibly difficult to time, relative to Revolvers and
Pandaria.
Stages 1 and 2
All you need is Pandaria, although having Boxer, Gambler, or Caitlyn certainly couldnt
hurt.
Stages 3 through 6
For Stage 3, you need at least Pandaria and at least one of Boxer/Caitlyn/Gambler,
although its best to have Pandaria and two others.
For Stage 4 and up, you need Pandaria, Boxer, and either Caitlyn/Gambler.
Personally, I havent completed Stage 6 or seen it completed without Silvia or SX, but
apparently its possible if your BGs are overleveled for Stage 6.
Stage 6 = lvl 80 boss
Stages 7 and 8
Stage 7+ used to be impossible to beat using only F2P BGs. However, with the addition
of pet Bunny who adds about 5-6 hits, and the addition of otherwise-useless-girl
Shamoke, its become possible to clear Stage 7 and 8.
If you dont have Bunny or dont want to raise Shamoke, youll need Silvia/Anna or need
to borrow SX BGs. I already listed the most useful girls in order above, so use that to
reference which BG you borrow.
Stage 9
The jump in difficulty is massive from stage 8 to stage 9. Stage 8 requires around 36 hits
against Monkey King. Stage 9 requires around a whopping 45 hits.
Pandaria and Revolver both to only 12 hits each with their ults. With subsequent
basic attacks, they can get in one or two more hits in, but even those two
together will barely get you over the half-way point.
So you need at least two more multi-hitting attackers such as Boxer, Sonya, Wu
Kong, Anna, Shamoke, or Alice in addition to Pandaria and Revolver. Javelin
may work as well because of her high attack speed. And dont forget to use pet
Bunny.
*Early Breath Attack Comp
1. In the earlier stages, its not too difficult to deal with MKs breath attack. In Stage 9,
however, the margin for error becomes very thin, not just because of the number of hits
youll have to land, but because of how powerful MKs breath attack becomes.
2. In a normal comp, youll find that MK does a few basic attacks before launching his
breath attack.
3. This comp changes MKs position on the field and forces him to do the breath attack
earlier so it can be blocked entirely by the Witch shield.
Arent Bidenty and Amazon in the suggested list for this boss?
1. Amazons ult is spell power based, so it does no damage to Monkey King. Amazon does
have her blue skill which fires three rapid physical attacks, but you cant control when
she makes this attack.
2. Bidenty used to be fantastic for Monkey King, but her ult was changed to magic damage.
Her green skill lands multiple attacks, but again, you cant control when this attack
happens.
[Important Tip]: Pets
Before all the new pets were released, Pengpeng was the go-to pet for Monkey King.
Pengpeng does physical damage and is actually able to hit Monkey King and give you
an extra hit. This extends your margin of error a bit. In the later stages though, you may
want to use Ricky for the increased resistance and healing, especially if you dont have
any healers in your lineup. But really, use Bunny.
With the addition of Bunny and Fran, aside from stage 9 (and maybe stage 8), which still
remains fairly difficult, Monkey King has become a joke. Like Pengpeng, Bunny similarly
does physical attacks with its ult. However, it launches multiple physical attacks and
drastically lowers the difficulty of Monkey King. Fran doesnt directly attack Monkey King,
but reduces the difficulty by preventing Monkey King from using its breath attack.
Infinity Cupid

Cupid is immune to all damage except for damage over time (DOT). There are a few exceptions
to this rule and those exceptions will be discussed below.

Nonetheless, without the proper BGs, Cupid will be impossible to beat.

[ALL] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Damage-Dealers
Front: Samurai, Quinnie, Chevalier, Dracula
Middle: Cynthia, Muppet, Aeris, Rhea
Rear: Hottie, Nagia
Pet: Ross, Ricky, Bobo, Fran

Note: Hottie does the most damage, followed by Samurai, Aeris, Rhea, and then Nagia/Cynthia.
Muppets damage is dependent on how many times you stun Cupid. But expect the damage to
be lower than Nagias.
Support
Front:
Wildtress (initial shield)
Scythe (AOE healing)
Succuba (magic damage reduction)
Haxie (for stuns, if you choose to use Muppet)
Middle:
Annie (spell resist buff)
Witch (initial magic shield)
Rear:
Nurse (healing, hp redistribution)
Geisha (massive team-wide healing)
Angel (mp-regen)

[ALL] Recommended Team Composition:

1. Stage 1 and 2:
a. MVP Hottie: Wildtress, [any], [any], [any], Hottie
i. Basic Strategy: Hottie alone is enough to get you through Stages 1 and 2.
If youre having trouble, do not ult with any BG except for Hottie as ults
freeze the animation frames but not the timer.
2. Stages 3 and 4:
a. MP-Enhanced Hottie: Wildtress, [any], Hottie, Nurse, Angel
i. Basic Strategy: Hottie alone can get you through Stages 3 and 4 if she
can get enough attacks out in time. Angel fills Hotties mp and Nurse
provides sustain. It is important to not use anyones ult aside from Hotties
and Nurses to insure that Angels mp refill goes to Hottie.
1. Note: Angels role can be filled with pet Ross instead.
b. Hottie+: Wildtress, [any], Nagia/Samurai/Aeris/Rhea, Hottie, Nurse
i. Basic Strategy: Instead of doing some lineup gymnastics with
mp-regenerators, its easier just to put in another damage dealer. Ideally,
you should be using Nagia, Aeris, Rhea, or Samurai (if you have her). If
youre desperate, you can try Cynthia.
c. Stun Comp: Wildtress/Haxie, Scythe, Muppet, Hottie, Nurse
i. Basic Strategy: If you dont have suitable damage-dealers, you might
have to resort to using Muppet. Muppets purple skill offers DOT against
stunned/knocked up opponents.
3. Stages 5 & 6:
a. Hottie+: Wildtress, [any], Nagia/Samurai/Aeris, Hottie, Nurse
i. Basic Strategy: Two solid damage dealers will still carry you through
these two stages, although you may need to try a few times for Stage 6.
b. Boosted Stun Comp: Wildtress/Haxie, Scythe, Muppet, Hottie, Nurse/Cynthia
with Pet Ross
i. Basic Strategy: Stun comps alone wont work here by itself. Its possible,
but incredibly difficult to clear these stages using a stun comp boosted by
Ross, provided that you can keep your girls alive even while using Ross.
For Stage 5, Nurse is a viable option as your final girl. For Stage 6, you
need at least Cynthia.
4. Stages 7+:
a. Stun-lock combination (F2P): Wildress, Scythe, Muppet, Hottie, Nagia with
pet Fran
i. Note: requires every single one of the girls listed
ii. Basic Strategy:
1. Frans mp reduction prevents Cupid from immediately ulting

2. After a few seconds, Cupid attempts to ult, but Frans interrupt

stops her (see below). This doesnt always happen though as the
timing for this to happen is RNG-dependent.
3. After an attack or two, if Cupid wasnt interrupted above, Cupid will
attempts to ult again, but Wildtress stun stops her (see below)

4. The next potential ult attempt, if she hadnt been interrupted (but
merely stunned or delayed), is blocked by Nagias freeze (see

below)
5. After that, Scythes ult should be ready to go. If/when Cupid pulls
back for ult, ult with Scythe and interrupt Cupids arrow.
6. While you wait for Scythes ult to recharge, Nagia will freeze and
Wildtress will stun Cupid.
b. Ult-Prevention: Scythe, Samurai, Aeris/Rhea, Hottie, Nagia with pet Fran
i. Basic Strategy: The strategy is similar to comp above, but requires much
less work. Instead of Wildtress stun stopping Cupids attempt to ult, it will
be Samurais ult. Samurais ult can activate at 40% mp and prevents
enemys ult. Its entirely possible to auto Cupid if you have the lineup
above, but you still may want to manually clear it and make sure Scythes
ult is ready to interrupt during the moments when Samurais ult risnt
active
c. Multiple DOT Comps: [Tank/Healer], [Secondary Healer], Aeris/Samurai/Rhea,
Nagia, Hottie
i. Basic Strategy: This is basically brute forcing your way to victory with
some of the highest DOT BGs in the game. The goal is to make sure your
girls survive.
d. Boosted Stun Comp: Scythe, Muppet, Hottie, Nagia/Aeris/Rhea, [Healer/Tank]
with Pet Ross
i. Basic Strategy: This is a variation of the boosted stun comp listed above
for Stage 5 and 6. Unfortunately, Cynthia will not work here. You need
either Nagia or Aeris, and for Stage 8 and 9.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Why is Nagia so important against Cupid?
1. This was briefly mentioned above Nagias DOT isnt particularly strong like Hotties. But
Nagias blue skill reduces enemys spell resist, which makes the DOT already present
more effective. Furthermore, Nagia is able to freeze Cupid and prevent him from
attacking, giving your team a much needed breather.
[ALL] hy Scythe is useful against Cupid despite the lack of DOT?
1. No, its not just because Scythe can heal.
2. Scythes ult is one of the few manually commanded attacks that can interrupt Cupids ult.
When Cupid begins the animation to launch his arrow, use Scythes ult to interrupt and
you wont have to worry about your BGs dying.
[ALL] Who is Aeris?
1. Aeris is the girl with the toothbrush. You can buy her in the Fantasy Exchange Store.
She has both sustained damage (multiple) AND spell resist reduction, similar to Nagia.
Shes tankier than Nagia and she has a more consistent spell resist reduction, however,
so she may be your preferred choice if your Nagia keeps dying. But dont forget that she
doesnt freeze Cupid though.
[ALL] Who is Rhea?
1. Rhea is the girl with the camera. Her individual DOT isnt particularly fantastic, but her
ability to clone herself allows her to increase her DOT by about 150%, making it stronger
than Cynthias. Rheas attack also lowers the damage on Cupids skill. Its hard to say if
Rhea provides more utility than Nagia who outright prevents enemies from attacking and
increases the team damage, but Rhea does serve as an additional option.
[ALL] Is Quinnie useful?
1. Against Cupid, Quinnie is actually quite strong. However, Quinnies utility is mostly
limited to Cupid (and Trial Lavia if you use INT-based lineup), so its not worth raising
Quinnie.
[ALL] Why not Dracula or Chevalier?
1. Interestingly enough, Dracula actually does damage to Cupid. Its pitifully low--barely in
the hundreds.
2. Chevalier actually does DOT and is on the recommended list, but as with Dracula, the
DOT damage is woefully low as well. Its a waste of a spot to use Chevalier.
[ALL] Pets
Before Fran came out, I used Ross to boost spell power and to rapidly fill mp so that you
get more bang for your buck with Hotties ult.
If you use Ross, it is even more critical that you play this level manually. Do not
ult with anyone other than your damage dealers + Scythe. Ross gives mp to the
BG with the highest mp (not including BGs with full mps), so if you have Wildtress
in the lineup and ult with her, Ross may end up giving mp to Wildtress, which
would be a complete waste.
Use Ricky or Haro if youre having trouble surviving Cupids initial arrow attack. Use
Bobo if your tank is having trouble surviving Cupids basic attacks.
Make sure to never ult with your pets as it wastes time.
With Ricky and Bobo as your pets, you may need an extra damage dealer to
make up for the loss in spell power.
With the introduction of Fran, the entire meta (for pets) changed. Unlike other bosses,
Cupid is affected by certain types of CC. This includes Frans interrupt. This may be
patched in a future update, but at the moment, Fran delays and/or interrupts Cupids first
massive arrow, allowing undergeared girls who wouldnt survive otherwise, to survive.
The best combination is to use Fran + Nagia + Samurai. Fran will prevent the first
arrow. Samurai (as one of the tanks) will immediately ult after the first Cupid hit,
preventing the 2nd arrow. Subsequent arrows will be prevented by either Nagia
freezing Cupid or Samurai locking down Cupid. (See below for Stage 9 Cupid
damage report - includes a P+4 Nagia and Orange Hottie who would otherwise
die in a single arrow with or without WT/Witch shields)
If you dont have Samurai, a very good replacement is Scythe. While Scythe
does not automatically lock down Cupid, using Scythes ult once Cupid begins its
huge ult animation for the arrow will interrupt the arrow.
Infinity Tangyuan

Tangyuan is immune to physical attacks and can only be hit with magic attacks. After its health
falls to a certain point, it sleeps and begins to regenerate health.

Tangyuan is one of the easier bosses. The BGs you use are the same girls you use for
Champion.

Front: N/A
Middle: Phoenix, Amelia, Diva
Rear: Sapphire

Recommended Team Composition:

1. Stage 1 and 2:
a. Wildtress, [damage dealer], [damage dealer], [damage dealer], [damage dealer]
2. Stages 3+:
a. Scythe, [damage dealer], [damage dealer], [damage dealer], Nurse

Things to Note:
Basic Strategy
1. The strategy is to charge your ults and unleash them all at once. Its simple, but the
timing can be a bit tricky and sometimes Tangyuan falls asleep after your first two ults if
you dont unleash all your ults quickly enough.
a. There are couple youtube videos on getting the timing right so search them out.
2. Surviving long enough for your MP to be charged is the hardest part as Tangyuan hits
like a truck after waking up.
Why Scythe is critical against Tangyuan?
1. In the earlier stages, youll want Scythe for her AOE heals to keep your team alive.
2. In the later stages, Scythe is necessary, not for her heals, but for her damage. Make
sure you use Scythes ult last to maximize its damage. It can take more than a third of
Tangyuans health away.
Which pet do I use?
1. Ross is the best all around. It does greater burst damage on its ult and increases the
spell power of all your BG, letting them have greater burst. Since Tangyuan falls asleep
when its health falls below 50%, having high enough spell power to cause Tangyuan to
go from 100 to 0 health is critical.
a. Casper doesnt damage Tangyuan, but does increase spell power and spell
penetration at a greater level than Ross.
2. If youre having trouble staying alive, Ricky or Bobo might be an alternate option. Go with
Bobo if your tank is dying. Go with Ricky if your middle and rear BG are dying.
Infinity Single Puppy

Single Puppy is immune to all damage and can only be hit by MP reducers. Single Puppy can
be interrupted, however, and getting the timing right can be the difference between clearing the
stage with 3 stars (and never having to do it again) or failing.

Single Puppy isnt particularly difficult, provided you have the right BGs, but its so damn
annoying to obtain the BGs required.

2. Middle: Luna, Fanny, Phancy, Smartie, Jade, Witch, Rhea,
3. Rear: N/A
4. Pet: Bunny

Support
1. Front:
a. Wildtress (initial shield for 10 seconds)
b. Scythe (AOE healing)
2. Middle:
a. Witch (initial magic shield for 10 seconds)
3. Rear:
a. Nurse (healing, hp redistribution)
b. Geisha (massive team-wide healing)

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Damage-Dealers
1. Front: Cpt. Sun
2. Middle: Diva
3. Rear: N/A
4. Pet: Bunny

Note: The order of damage is as follows: Luna >>>>>>>>>>>> Fleur >> Fanny > Phancy >
Smartie > Rhea > Witch

Note: Zhi Yaos damage is dependent on what timing. If you time her ult when her MP drain is in
effect, you can do quite a bit of damage.
Recommended Team Composition:
With Luna
1. Stage 1-8:
a. Wildtress, Luna, [whatever keeps Luna alive], [whatever keeps Luna alive],
[whatever keeps Luna alive]
Without Luna, but with Fleur
1. Stage 1-6: requires your to be ~3-5 levels higher than boss
a. Earlier stages: Fleur, Fanny, Smartie/Phancy, Witch, Nurse
b. Later stages (requires Phancy): Fleur, Fanny, Phancy, Witch, Nurse
Without Luna and without Fleur
1. Stage 1-4: requires you to be ~10-15 levels higher than boss
a. Wildtress, Fanny, Phancy, Smartie, Nurse/Scythe/Geisha
2. Stages (unknown)
a. Zhi Yao, Fanny, Phancy, Smartie, [Healer]
i. I havent tested this lineup myself, but Zhi Yao does add an extra MP
drainer.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Basic Strategy
3. With Luna:
a. If you have Luna, the strategy is to keep Luna alive. A 1 star Luna alone can kill
Stage 8 Single Puppy.
Stage 8 Puppy requires P+4 Luna or higher
4. Without Luna but with Fleur:
a. Ive personally cleared (and 3 starred) Stage 6 without Luna. My BGs arent fully
geared up, so it may b e possible to clear Stage 7 with Orange +2 BGs.
Remember, in general, you have to be at a higher level than Single Puppy.
Stage 1 = lvl 55 Puppy
Stage 2 = lv 60 Puppy
Stage 3 = lvl 65 Puppy
Etc.
b. If you have Fleur, the strategy is to let Single Puppy hit Fleur as much as
possible since Fleurs blue skill reduces MP whenever enemies hit her.
To maximize Fleur, use her as the sole tank. With Phancy and Nurse
giving her healing support, shell be able to survive the entire battle.
Smartie can be used instead of Phancy in the earlier stages, but
youll need Phancy in the later stages to keep Fleur alive.
Phancys ult can interrupt Single Puppys roll, so thats another
tool you have to keep your team alive.
Note: with the recent update (12/16/2016), Phancys ult
was nerfed so it will no longer interrupt the roll.
While Witch does less damage than Smartie, Witchs shield is necessary
for the team to survive the first puppy roll intact.
5. Without Luna and Fleur
a. In my opinion, youll be lucky to clear Stage 4 without either Luna or Fleur. Ive
personally only cleared up to Stage 2 without Luna and Fleur (and I dont really
intend to experiment), but Ive heard that some people have cleared Stage 3 and
4 without Luna and Fleur, using lvl 90 O+2 Phancy, Fanny, and Smartie.
Given how difficult it is to raise BGs that high, Im not sure if its worth it.
Still, if you choose this route, remember, Fanny and Phancy do roughly
the same amount of damage, Smartie does much less, and Witch does
the least damage of all.
b. Zhi Yaos purple skill rotates through various effects, one of them being MP drain.
As such, Zhi Yao can also be used for Single Puppy, although just how much
damage she does, I have no idea.
Heavily dependent on timing Zhi Yaos ult with her MP drain active.
[ALL] Pets
Once again, pets can make your life easier here. Pet Bunny has an MP reduction attack
for its purple skill. While previous pets simply helped you stay alive, Bunny can help you
kill Puppy faster. And it does more damage than Witch or Smartie. Using Bunny will help
you clear a level higher than you normally could.
Unfortunately, Fran does not damage Single Puppy despite its MP reduction aura.
Whether this will be fixed or not in the future isnt known, but for now, Bunny, not Fran, is
the go-to pet for Single Puppy.
Infinity Angry Rooster

Infinity Rooster is by far the easiest boss. There are no tricks to this boss. Angry Rooster does
hit hard, however, so be sure to put together a team thats geared well.

You can use the same BGs you use for Champion, Top Floor, or Guild Events. Which girl you
use is much less important that how strong they are.

But for the purposes of this guide:

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in (clearly...this is not a comprehensive list of all the girls
you could use):
Tanks:
Wildtress, Leona, Ninja, Sisha, Aegis
Healers:
Nurse, Scythe, Geisha, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Nukers: Blowie, Amazon, Cynthia, Lily, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Support: Elvis/Nagia, Angel
3. Agility Bursters: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Sonya
DPS:
1. Nukers: Sapphire, Phoenix, Amelia
2. Agility Bursters: Revolver, Alice
3. Others: Javelin, Wu Kong
Support
1. Fencer (defense buff), Werewolf (armor break)

[ALL] Recommended Team Composition:

4. [Tank] + 4 Attackers
5. [Tank] + [Healer] + 3 Attackers

Things to Note:
[ALL] Basic Strategy
1. Try to unleash your ults at the same time and get the battle over with at once. The longer
you wait, the more time Rooster has to cycle through its skills.
2. Note: This is the same turkey/chicken that was used for several events.
a. Angry Rooster has an AOE attack, fears, and massive damage.
Game Mode: Fantasy

Fantasy is a game mode that unlocks at lvl 65. It is similar to Infinity in that there is a rotation of
bosses (every other day). But unlock Infinity, you are rewarded with gold and tokens (for an
exchange shop) instead of drops. There are seven bosses in Fantasy and each has their
respective skill-sets that you need to watch out for.

All bosses have a common skill: the more damage they take, the stronger they become. At
lower levels, youll time out for the majority of the battles. As you get stronger, you wont time
out, but youll get wiped by the boss. The bosses have a little over 5 million hp and if you hit
that, theyll die.

As this is relatively new game mode, team comps have not been streamlined just yet. As such,
the suggested team comps (those that are listed) are subject to change. More so than the team
comps, pay attention to the strategy portion of the following sections.

Note: in case I forget to mention it in the sections below, the queen of Fantasy is Rhea. If
you have an opportunity to get her, do so.
Fantasy Fortune

Fantasy Fortune is a difficult boss, probably one of the harder bosses in

Fantasy at the moment. Not only does she hit really hard to the entire team (an
attack that cannot be dodged), Fantasy Fortune has an incredibly high dodge
rate and upon every dodge, she creates a clone immune to the type of damage
that she dodged.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pet Yoba
a. For those of you who dont know game mechanics: Fortunes ability to dodge
magic attacks is insane. Magic attacks have an incredibly high hit rate and
cannot be dodged in normal battles. Clearly Fantasy Fortune is not normal.
b. To reduce Fortunes dodge rate and to improve your hit rate, you must use Yoba.
Otherwise, youll be missing Fortune all the time and letting her spam her
damage-immune clones.
2. Mixed Damage
a. Fortune dodging an attack leads to a clone immune to that type of attack. That
means if Fortune dodges a physical attack, shell produce a clone immune to
physical damage. That clone will proceed to laugh at your attacks as Fortune
wrecks you.
b. To kill the clones, you need mixed damage. Magic damage to kill physically
immune clones and physical damage to kill magically immune clones.
3. Heals
a. This depends on your level. Ironically, low levels need not bother with heals as
Fortunes physical attack below 300k in damage is pitiful. But Fortune starts
become powerful enough to take down 75-80% of your health at ~1 million, at
which point the clones can finish you off.
b. Unless youre using BGs with insane lifesteal (i.e. Javelin, Phoenix), you might
want to think about using heals.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Leona, Ninja, Sisha
Healers:
1. Nurse, Scythe, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Lily, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl
Support:
1. Elvis/Nagia, Angel, Rhea

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Sisha, Awk Succuba/Joan/Scythe, Blowie, Smartie/Gambler, Annie/Nurse
a. Sisha and Smartie/Gambler provide the physical damage while Blowie and Annie
provide the magic damage. Sisha countering skill should be enough damage to
take own the magically immune clones, but Smartie/Gambler is there as
insurance. Blowie will be doing the bulk of the magic damage with her AOE ult
while Annie cleans up the physically immune clones.
b. At low levels, youll want to use Nurse instead of Annie for more sustain, although
this is variable.
c. If you use Scythe, make sure to manually target her ult towards Fortune.
2. Ninja, Awk Succuba/Joan/Scythe, Blowie, Gambler, Gambler/Nurse
a. This is a variation of the comp above, with a bit more magic damage. Magic
damage has a higher hit rate and will create fewer clones. Ninja also does more
active damage than Sisha as well.
b. Again, at low levels, youll want to use Nurse instead of Gambler for more
sustain.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix
2. Physical Attackers: Revolver, Javelin, Wu Kong, Nobunaga
Support:
1. Nona

[SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Nobunaga, Javelin, Phoenix, Rhea, Nona
a. Nobunaga snowballs with every unit killed and as such, she is a solid dps for this
boss. And with her invincibility frames, she can survive for a long time. Javelin
provides quite of bit of damage herself, although she is prone to dying. Phoenix is
there to clean up the clones that Fortune creates from Javelins and Nobunagas
attacks. Nona is there to increase damage, while Rhea is there to reduce enemy
damage.
2. Rhea/Awk Succuba/Joan/Scythe, Phoenix, Javelin, Wu Kong/Revolver, Jelly
a. This is a standard lineup for those who dont have event SX girls like Nona or
Nobunaga. Without Rhea, itll eventually cap out around 2-3 million before your
team gets wiped.
b. Jelly is a nice replacement for Nona, if youre using Javelin as Jellys purple skill
most benefits Javelin.

Things to Note:
[Non-SX] Explanations
1. Sustained burst (either single-target or multi-target) is needed here. Unfortunately, the
choices are highly limited. Theres Blowie and thats it. Lavia has fantastic single-target
burst damage, but unfortunately, she only has one shot and it almost always hits a
clone. Annie also has fantastic single-target burst damage that you can target towards
Fantasy Fortune, but itll go back to a clone if a clone is low on health. And agility BGs
pose a massive problem with their lower hit rates, so this means Wild Girl wont be as
useful.
a. Caitlyn seems like a nice option due to her Penetrate. However, shes not as
good for Fantasy Fortune as you might think because Caitlyn has a terrible hit
rate (translation: low accuracy). Combine that with Fortunes ridiculous dodge
rate and you can see why thats a terrible idea.
2. Rhea comps are solid, but until damage starts reaching into the 2.5+ millions, there is no
point in using Rhea (to reduce damage) as Fantasy Fortune will not stack enough Rage
buffs to wipe your team.
[Non-SX] Armor Reduction: Hottie
1. Hottie is useless here. Her armor reduction will often hit clones and shell end up doing
no damage and provide zero utility.
[SX] Explanations
1. As noted above, sustained burst (either single-target or multi-target) is needed here.
Fortunately, SX users have a few options. Javelin and Phoenix are the obvious
candidates--both are needed, in fact, as Fantasy Fortune requires hybrid damage.
2. If youre using SX girls, youll find that Fantasy Fortune stacks enough Rage buffs to
one-shot your entire team. To counter this, use Rhea as one of her skills reduces the
skill points of the enemy. Using this on the enemys ult means less damage done to your
team.
Fantasy Wu Kong

Fantasy Wu Kong doesnt hit quite as hard as Fantasy Fortune nor is as

hard to hit, but she is rather annoying in her own way. Like all other
Fantasy bosses, she get stronger the more health she loses. She has an
attack that is quite similar to the BG Wu Kongs ult, not only inn the
appearance of the attack, but also in that it is stronger the more clones out
there on the battlefield. Unsurprisingly, she can also clone herself, and
these clones have quite high dodge rates. Her most annoying skill is her
ability to turn one or more of your BGs into little animals. The actual
damage and effect of this skill is negligible, but it takes away your ability to
do damage and more important to sustain yourself via lifesteal.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pet Yoba/Bobo/Bunny
a. Technically, Yoba isnt strictly necessary here as it was for Fantasy Fortune. But
if youre running an agility-based lineup, youll be missing the clones quite a bit.
Using Yoba improves your accuracy. It also has the benefit of preventing your
Javelin front turning into an animal.
b. Other options are Bobo for defensive purposes and Bunny for more offensive
purposes.
2. Mixed Damage
a. Again, as with the pets, mixed damage isnt strictly necessary here, especially if
you choose to use Yoba. But using either Phoenix or Blowie can go a long way in
improving your damage count. Magic attacks have a significantly higher hit rate
than physical attacks and wont miss against those clones, allowing you to clear
them faster. Furthermore, the clones, similar to BG Wu Kong herself, have
abysmal spell resist so magic attacks clear them faster regardless of their dodge
rate.
3. [Non-SX] Team Comp - Solo tank
a. Certain Fantasy Bosses have skill sets that preclude or require the use of certain
BGs. Fantasy Wu Kong doesnt stop you from using any one BG, but you may
want to take a closer look at your overall team comp.
b. Fantasy Wu Kongs primary mode to do major damage is her staff swing, which
only hits the BGs at the front. The more BGs you have at the front, the more you
put yourself at risk. As such, you want a solo tank against Fantasy Wu Kong.
Note: Not using any girls at the front will only shift the front responsibility to your
middle girls.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Leona, Sisha, Zombia
Healers:
1. Nurse, Scythe, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl
Support:
1. Elvis/Nagia, Angel, Rhea, Jelly

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Sisha, Awk Elvis/Nurse/Joan, Wild Girl, Pandaria/Gambler, Blowie
a. If Elvis is awakened, she can serve as your healer and she excels in this regard.
If not, youre stuck with Nurse. You can using Joan, but youre putting Joan at
risk by putting her near the front even with her percent damage reduction against
physical attacks. Awakened Succuba is also a suitable replacement because of
her constant healing over time.
b. If youre below level 90, Gambler is the better choice. If your Pandaria is
awakened, then shell be the better choice.
c. As noted above, Blowie is mostly there to help clear clones, but you can replace
her with an agility DPS option.
2. Anna/Boxer, Awk Elvis/Joan/Jelly, Wild Girl, Rhea, Blowie
a. At the moment, this is probably the best non-SX team youll be able to field for
this boss. It has a mix of damage, sustain, and enemy damage reduction--all of
which youll need to face a Rage-buffed Wu Kong.
i. Use Awk Elvis/Joan for survivability
ii. Use Jelly for increased damage - Jelly buffs the front most allies the most,
so Anna or Boxer will be benefitting the most.
b. Rhea will be useful at higher levels when you start piling on damage. Sub-90,
however, youre best opting for DPS.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix
2. Physical Attackers: Revolver, Javelin, Wu Kong, Nobunaga
Support:
1. Nona, Wraith

[SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Nobunaga, Javelin, Phoenix, Wraith/Rhea, Nona (confirmed kill)
a. Similar to her role in Fantasy Fortune, Nobunaga is useful against Fanasty Wu
Kong. Nobunaga snowballs with every unit killed and she destroys clones quite
easily.
b. Nona increases both attack speed and defense of your BGs with enough ults as
well as increase your damage on a percentage basis.
2. Javelin, Phoenix, Rhea/Joan, Wu Kong/Revolver, Jelly
a. This is a standard build without the exclusive SX girls. Jelly replaces Nona, while
Wu Kong/Revolver replace Nobunaga. Youll still manage an obscene amount of
damage with this build (~3.5 million); you just might not do damage fast enough
to survive once Wu Kong stacks Rage buffs.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Armor Reduction: Hottie & Jelly
1. Similar to the situation with Fantasy Fortune, Hottie is almost useless here. Her armor
reduction will often hit clones and shell end up doing no damage and provide zero utility.
Jelly is a better option for armor reduction, although she goes best with a front attacker.
[Non-SX] Explanations
1. First, youll note that Ninja was also not recommended against this boss. While Ninja
does have a convenient AOE ult, she has relatively low physical defense for a tank and
will get melted by Fantasy Wu Kongs ultimate, especially without dedicated healers.
2. As with Fantasy Fortune, sustained burst would be ideal, so Blowie is obviously a
fantastic option. However, because Fantasy Wu Kong doesnt have the dodge rate that
Fantasy Fortune does, its fine to depend on agility BGs for damage. And f2p players
have a fantastic sustained burster in Wild Girl.
[SX] Explanations
1. SX teams are different from non-SX teams in that there is no point in using a solo tank
since your Javelin will be at the front anyway. As such, theres no point in using a tank
like Sisha or Leona, even if they are available to SX users.
a. Joan is an exception as she can reduce the damage of incoming physical
attacks, so you can still use her as a Rhea replacement. But its a poor, poor
replacement for Rhea. I cant say this enough, but Rhea is the Queen of Fantasy.
Fantasy Angel

Fantasy Angel is the most complicated of all the bosses. Fantasy Angel is similar to Trial Lavia
(for those of you whove played in the first year of GxB) in that the boss requires you to use
BG of a single stat. That means all INT, all AGI, or all STR. Furthermore, your choice in BG is
made more difficult by the fact that Fantasy Angel can summon clones of your BG as both
decoys and as means to do severe damage to your BGs.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pets
a. The standard strategy here would be to use the magic resist pets: Ricky, Haro,
and Dodo to guard against Angels ult.
b. Casper or Ross can be used if youre going for a speed kill using an INT lineup.
Similarly, Bunny or Yoba can be used if youre going for a speed kill using an AGI
lineup
2. All-INT
a. [Non-SX] Sustain INT comp
i. INT BGs have fantastic sustain and spell resist relative to their damage
(i.e. INT girls have naturally high INT which gives them spell resists and
Annies spell resist aura adds on to this). Furthermore, the largest
problem of bossing with INT BGs--slow mp gain--is mitigated by the fact
that once Angel starts packing stacks of Rage with the more damage she
takes, shell do enough damage to fill your BGs mp bar almost
immediately.
b. [SX] Psychic comp
i. Currently, the only confirmed kills on Fantasy Angels have been through
INT-lineups with awakened Psychic at the core. Psychics summons allow
you to turn Angel around so that she ults in the opposite direction.
3. All-AGI
a. The strategy isnt very different for non-SX and SX players here: simply use your
normal AGI BGs. While using an AGI-based lineup will guarantee you high
damage even from a low level, ultimately the damage you can do at the upper
end is quite limited. Eventually, Fantasy Angel gets strong enough to wipe the
entire map. Even with 5 star SX girls, there hasnt been a confirmed kill on
Fantasy Angel using AGI BGs because they cant survive long enough to kill her.
4. All-STR
a. While STR BGs are tanky and have decent sustain, they lack quite a bit of
damage. Non-SX players have no chance of making an STR lineup work. SX
players can try putting together a lineup of Sonya, Werewolf, and Fencer with
Succuba and Dracula/Aquaris/Sisha/Ninja/Shamoke/Athena to round out the
comp, but this is something to try when bored, and not for competitive play.
[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:
STR (not recommended):
1. Leona, Ninja, Sisha, Aquaris, Athena, Shamoke, Rosie, Succuba
INT:
1. Attackers: Blowie, Annie, Lily, Jinx, Lavia
2. Support: Scythe, Nurse, Angel, Elvis, Nagia
AGI:
1. Attackers: Celeste, Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Octagirl, Smartie
2. Support: Hottie, Rhea

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition:

INT
1. Scythe, Blowie, Annie, Elvis, Nagia/Angel/Nurse
a. This lineup is probably the best all-around youll be able to field, especially if
Blowie and Elvis are awakened. Blowie, Elvis, Angel/Nagia allow you to do more
damage, either by increasing spell penetration/spell power or reducing spell
resist. Given that Blowie and Annie have their own ways of sustaining
themselves, Scythe alone should be enough as a dedicated healer, but you can
put in Nurse for the final slot if your BGs are dying early.
i. The key player here is actually Annie and not just for her damage. Annies
purple skill is a spell resist aura, which is perfect for this situation.
AGI
1. Celeste/Boxer, Gambler, Pandaria, Wild Girl, Octagirl/Caitlyn/Smartie/Rhea
a. Use either Celeste or Boxer as the frontliner, and then the next three should be
obvious.
i. For damage, the final spot ideally should go to Octagirl, but choices are
rather limited here (see below for explanations).
ii. For support, use Rhea, especially if your damage is high enough that the
boss stacks enough rage buffs.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

STR (not recommended):
1. Fencer, Sonya, Werewolf
INT:
1. Attackers: Phoenix, Amelia
2. Support: Nona, Psychic
AGI:
1. Attackers: Javelin, Wu Kong, Revolver, Guan Yin, Cpt Sun, Alice, Hexa, Nobunaga
2. Support: N/A

[SX] Sample Team Composition:

INT
1. Blowie, Psychic, Phoenix, Nona, Amelia/Annie/Wraith (confirmed kill)
a. Blowie, regardless of whether shes awakened or not, serves as the tank. Shes
fairly tanky for a mid and she has fantastic sustain.
b. Nona + Phoenix serves as the source of damage. Nona ults, giving the team a
20+% damage boost and Phoenix lands her fireballs.
c. Psychic is the key component to this comp. Her summons turn Angel around and
forces Angel to ult in the opposite direction. Timing can be crucial here. If your
Psychic isnt awakened, dont be stupid and use Psychics ult immediately after
Angel ults. The summon will draw all of Angels attacks and may not live long
enough to force Angel to ult in the opposite direction.
d. Amelia and Annie are solid choices for the final slot. Amelia does quite a bit of
damage and Annie serves as a bit of insurance if you miss the timing on a
Psychic ult. Wraith is also an option, but her use is rather complicated (see
below).
AGI
1. Guan Yin/Nobunaga, Javelin, Wu Kong, Revolver, Rhea
a. There isnt really anything special about this lineup. This is probably the strongest
pure AGI lineup youll be able to throw together. There hasnt been a confirmed
kill yet, but people have gotten very close (~4-4.5 million).

Things to Note:
[Non-SX] Explanations in BG choices
1. INT - Why Lavia/Jelly arent good choice
a. Shes not a terrible choice, but her ult (her main mode of dealing damage) is only
one shot. If it lands on a clone, it ends up being wasted damage. Annies ult is
also single target, but it can be targeted at the boss and the boss usually has the
lowest % of health anyway. Lavias, however, merely hits the nearest enemy.
b. Youll find that Jelly isnt listed as a recommended support. This is because Jelly
is an INT BG who buffs AGI BGs. Since all the BGs have to be of one type, this
makes it difficult to use Jelly.
2. AGI - Why Octagirl/Rhea instead of Caitlyn or Hottie
a. Hottie isnt as good of an option because her armor reduction debuff can hit one
of the clones that Angel summons, making her a waste of space.
b. Caitlyn isnt as good of an option because those same summons can hit her and
prevent her from ramping up her attack speed.
c. Smartie is an alternative, but her single target damage is limited and her ult is
useless in boss fights.
d. On the other hand, Octagirls attacks can penetrate through the clones and her
ult is guaranteed to land on the boss. Jelly and Rhea have skills that focus on
either buffing the team or doing AOE damage.
[SX] Explanations in BG choices
1. INT - Why Wraith isnt a great choice
e. Shes not a terrible choice, considering that she allows Nona, Psychic, and
Phoenix to be in a state of permanent ult, but using her introduces an element of
uncertainty. Theres a chance that Angels summoned Wraith can possess your
BGs. And if she ends up possessing your Phoenix, its game over.
Fantasy Assassin

Fantasy Assassin, like all other Fantasy bosses, has her own quirk. In this fight, youll be helped
along by Assassins little sister, NPC Maid Ninja. NPC Maid Ninja helps in damaging Assassin,
but more importantly she can break the shield Assassin occasionally puts up if you heal Maid
Ninja.

Fantasy Assassin has three attacks. First is her single-target stun, which hits only the front BG.
Second is her teamwide stun, which hits everyone on the team. Third is her charge, which also
hits everyone on the team.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pet Yoba
a. If youre running Javelin, pet Yoba is almost a must (unless youre running Aeris
or Rhea). Even if youre not running Javelin, Yoba is useful to have to protect
your highest physical attacker (i.e. Wild Girl) from getting stunned.
2. BG type
a. Strength BGs are stunned for a shorter duration. That does not mean, however,
that you should load up on Strength girls. Youll sacrifice way too much damage
by doing so. Simply ignore this and try to deal with the stuns in other ways.
3. Heals
a. Heals arent strictly necessary, but theyre nice to have to maintain consistent
damage by breaking Assassins shield. The ideal choice is awakened Succuba
due to her healing over time. Scythe is a solid second best choice. The others
healers are frankly mediocre for this boss.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Ninja, Sisha
Healers:
1. Nurse, Scythe, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Lily, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl
Support:
1. Elvis/Nagia, Angel, Rhea, Jelly, Aeris

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Sisha, Awk Succuba/Scythe, Blowie, Annie, Lavia
a. This is generally most useful for low levels due to its high sustain. Lavia can even
be replaced with Nurse for even more survivability.
2. Sisha, Awk Succuba/Scythe, Anna, Gambler/Rhea, Wild Girl
a. Sisha is used because of her counter. Assassin regularly hits the front-most girl
with powerful attacks and Sisha can absorb these blows while countering without
regards to her her status. This means, it doesnt matter whether shes stunned;
she still counters the damage done to her.
b. Awk Succuba/Scythe are used as healers to heal NPC Maid Ninja.
c. Anna isnt strictly necessary here and can be replaced by Boxer or Pandaria, but
Anna is a STR girl and remains stunned for less time than the other two.
d. Gambler is used as offensive support (for her aura) to boost Wild Girl, who is the
primary damage dealer for this build. Rhea can be used instead of Gambler if
Assassin is packing enough Rage buffs to wipe your team.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix
2. Physical Attackers: Revolver, Javelin, Wu Kong
Support:
1. Nona

[SX] Sample Team Composition (see in section below for further explanation):
1. Awk Succuba/Scythe, Javelin, Phoenix, Rhea/Aeris, Nona (confirmed kill)
a. Fantasy Assassin isnt particularly tanky like Fantasy Muppet or particularly hard
to hit like Fantasy Fortune. Assassin does hit hard, but frankly, her attack speed
isnt that fast. Assassin is just annoying because your team is stunned for quite a
bit of time, allowing her to get multiple hits on your team (especially Javelin).
b. Rhea is useful in a different manner here from her normal use and can be
replaced by Aeris. Both Rhea and Aeris have summons that walk up and stand in
front of Javelin. This means that those summons are absorbing the damage and
more importantly the single-target stuns. This allows Javelin to hit and sustain
herself far more often than she normally would.
i. Aeris summons are weaker and do die more quickly, so be careful when
using her.
ii. Psychics summons are far tankier than Rheas, but they also force
Assassin to charge in the opposite direction and often ends hitting your
squishier rear line harder.
2. Awk Succuba/Scythe, Javelin, Phoenix, Rhea/Aeris, Revolver/Jelly
a. This is a standard lineup for those who dont have Nona. Both Jelly and Revolver
can be used instead of Rhea/Aeris, but this does put pressure on your Yoba to
protect your Javelin.
b.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Exploit
1. There is an exploit you can use here. With enough time, NPC Maid Ninja gradually
moves closer to the front. If youre using a rear DPS or a mid DPS who stands far back,
NPC Maid Ninja may eventually stand in front of that particular girl and absorb the blows
from Fantasy Assassin, preventing your DPS from being stunned on the single-target
attacks. This is especially useful for those running Wild Girl or Phoenix/Revolver builds.
Fantasy Zombia

Fantasy Zombia, more so than any other boss, is governed by RNG. The converse (not inverse)
of Fantasy Fortune, Zombia has a low hit rate, meaning she misses a lot. But if she lands a hit
on your, itll hurt. A lot. Zombia has another skill, one that locks your BGs down and prevent
them from doing anything. Again this is RNG and theres nothing you can do if Javelin gets
locked down. Zombias attacks reduces the efficacy of heals, so its something to keep in mind.
Also, her attacks are stronger against BGs with full health. That being said, Fantasy Zombia is
the easiest boss to deal with.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pet Ricika
a. Dont get cute and try to use Bunny to increase your own damage. It wont work
for most people. Use Ricika to increase your dodge rate and to blind Zombia. If
you dont have Ricika, use one of the defensive/healing pets.
2. Blinds
a. Ricika alone isnt enough and wont keep you alive. You need at least one other
blind, or two if youre not using a Sonya blind (the longest blind in the game).

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Leona, Ninja, Sisha, Lin. AI, Fortune
Healers:
1. Nurse, Scythe, Joan, Succuba
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Jinx, Annie, Lavia, Amazon, Cynthia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl
Blinds:
1. Angel, Jinx, Flash, Shamoke
Support:
1. Hottie, Rosie, Rhea, Jelly

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Single Blind: Sisha/Boxer/Anna, Gambler/Rhea, Jinx, Wild Girl, [Healer]/Angel (with
cabinet bonuses for heals)
a. Sisha is frankly unnecessary here as youre relying on not being hit and more so
if you use Rhea whose clones can absorb the single target attacks, so you may
go with Boxer or Anna in the front for damage. Sisha does provide some
insurance if Zombia does land a hit, however, and especially if you dont use
Rhea.
b. Angel provides the sole means of blind (outside of Ricika, of course). While this
doesnt keep Zombia in a permanent state of blind, with Rhea decreasing
Zombias attacks and Rheas summons absorbing the more frequent single target
attacks, the extra blinds wont be needed.
2. Multiple Blinds: Sisha/Boxer/Anna, Jinx, Angel/Flash/Shamoke/Annie, Wild Girl,
Blowie/Scythe/Nurse
a. Angel, Flash, Shamoke provide even more blinds, keeping the boss in a near
permanent state of blinds. You are, however, sacrificing damage.
b. The main damage dealers are obviously Wild Girl and Jinx. For low levels, Nurse
or Scythe can used for sustain. Higher level players can opt to use Blowie or
Annie (or another agility DPS) for more damage. Leaving out Rhea may hurt, but
frankly, with so many blinds, Rhea shouldnt be necessary.
3. Blind-Dodge: Fortune/Lin AI, Jinx, Flash, Blowie/Lavia, Succuba/Nurse/Joan/Scythe
a. Frankly, this is more of a gimmick. While Fortune and Lin AI do have high dodge
rates, they dont do much damage. Theres no point in those two staying alive
while the rest of the team gets wiped from Zombias attacks. Still, this build does
exist and Im fairly confident its one of those teams that can survive to the very
end (but do very little damage).

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix
2. Physical Attackers: Revolver, Javelin, Wu Kong, Nobunaga
Support:
1. Nona
Blinds:
1. Sonya, Elisa

[SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Single Blind: Sonya, Phoenix, Javelin, Revolver/Wu Kong/Rhea, Nona/Jelly (confirmed
kill)
a. Sonya provides a very long blind and doesnt need any more blinds. In fact,
between Sonya and Ricika, Zombia is almost permanently blinded that Rhea is
unnecessary for this build. Yes, there are a few seconds where Zombia isnt
blinded and occasionally, Zombia can lash out during these times, but with five
tries, youll usually get at least one try where Zombia misses even during the
times where shes not blinded.
b. If you dont want to leave things to chance, use Rhea. But this is the one boss
that doesnt require Rhea to kill.
2. Multiple Blinds: Sonya, Elisa/Angel, Phoenix, Javelin, Revolver
a. Like the multiple-blind comp above, youll be sacrificing a bit of damage. But the
drop-off for this build isnt as bad as the drop-off for the f2p build.
3. Rush: Sonya, Phoenix, Javelin, Wraith, Nona (confirmed kill)
a. This build relies on activating Nonas chess pieces as quickly as possible and
racing to kill Zombia before she can spent a lot of time with stacked buffs of
Rage. I personally havent managed to kill Zombia using this build, but it has
been done.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Decoys
1. Since Zombia hits enemies at the front the most, Rheas summons or Aeris teeth act as
a nice decoy to absorb quite a bit of damage. It wont work as well as you might hope
though since Zombias more problematic attacks are AOE. Furthermore, planning on
getting hit is a bad strategy when the goal against this boss is not to get hit.
[SX] Damage Boost: Nona + Wraith
1. Nona provides buffs and % damage increase on the boss with her ult. The strategy using
Nona and Wraith is to rack up as much damage as possible using Phoenix (or any other
BG) before Zombia can wipe the map with her attacks.
[SX] Ricika + Javelin
1. SX users are in a unique position to take full advantage of Ricika. Ricikas ult provides
Javelin with a bit more protection to prevent her from being shut down. Just make sure to
ult with Ricika after Javelins ult.
Fantasy Kitty

Fantasy Kitty is also one of the harder bosses, although some of the difficult
stems from the dearth of BGs with the proper skill-set to deal with Kitty. Like
most other bosses, her fourth skill increases her attack power the more
damage she takes. Her other skills involve (1) an AOE slash attack that
reduces the efficacy of heals, (2) infecting front BGs to lock them down, and
(3) converting enemies killed into untargetable kittens that attack you for the
remainder of the battle.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pets
a. Ive seen many pets used here from Bunny (armor reduction), to Casper
(increase spell penetration/power), to Bobo (increased physical defense to ward
against Kittys basic attacks, to Haro/Ricky/Dodo (increased spell resist to guard
against Kittys skills, to either Ricika/Yoba (ult protects one girl against CC). So
theres no one pet that is particularly critical. Whats important is how your pet fits
in the context of your team.
i. [SX] For example, standard agility-based SX lineups that rely on Javelin
to do damage are probably best served with Ricika or Yoba to protect
Javelin from the venom that locks down the front-most BG. Otherwise,
Javelin gets locked and then killed in a hit or two.
2. [SX] Decoy
a. A girl that works very well is Psychic. Her summon is incredibly tanky. Her
summon can absorb hits from Kitty (protecting your front-most girl) and can be
removed/renewed before it dies and becomes a kitten.
3. Heals
a. Heals are inefficient against Kitty as her skills reduce healing. Thats not to say
that you shouldnt bring a healer, but be aware that your healers wont be saving
your attackers. Focus more on damage reduction or lifesteal.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Leona, Ninja, Sisha
Healers:
1. Nurse, Succuba
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Pandaria, Boxer, Wild Girl
Support:
1. Elvis/Nagia, Angel, Rhea, Jelly

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Sisha/Ninja, Succuba (awakened recommended)/awakened Elvis/Nurse, Blowie, Annie,
Lavia
a. Sisha is in a unique position to be highly effective against Fantasy Kitty. Even
when she is locked down and disabled, she can do damage by simply standing
there and taking hits.
i. The only problem is that she requires a dedicated healer. Succuba
(especially an awakened Succuba), awakened Elvis, or Nurse are all solid
options for heals. Scythes heals are far too weak and Joan auxiliary
skills, which are effective against physical attacks, dont provide much
utility here as Kittys hardest hitting skills are magical in nature.
ii. For those without Sisha, Ninja is a decent substitute. Once Ninja ults, her
attacks are automatic regardless of her status. Furthermore, she can
debuff Kitty and make her attacks hit less. Ninjas increasing damage
reduction to skills she has experienced before make her invaluable as
well.
b. Blowie, Annie, and Lavia are the hardest hitting non-SX int-based BGs and
Blowie/Annie have quite a bit of sustain as well. Lavia can be replaced by others,
such as Nagia (to further reduce Kittys spell resist) or other hard hitters like
Stella.
2. Sisha/Leona, Succuba (awakened recommended)/awakened Elvis/Nurse, Gambler,
Rhea/Pandaria, Wild Girl
a. Sisha is used for the same reasons as listed above along with the fact that she
has a bit of armor reduction. Leona can be used for this reason as well.
b. Gambler, Wild Girl, and Pandaria are standard agility-based DPS options.
i. Caitlin can be used as well, but Kittys AOE attacks make it difficult to
Caitlyn to build up enough speed to do significant amounts of damage.
c. Rhea is nice because of her ability to reduce enemy skills. This particular ability
of Rheas is of the most help against Fanasty Kitty.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix
2. Physical Attackers: Revolver, Javelin, Wu Kong, Nobunaga
Support:
1. Psychic, Nona

[SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Javelin, Psychic, Rhea, Nona/Jelly, Awk Succuba/Revolver (confirmed kill)
a. Psychic can summon directly onto Kitty and can even turn Kitty around. This
protects your front most girl from Kittys venom, which locks your girl down for
some time. This allows Javelin to wreck havoc on Kitty.
i. Make sure to ult as quickly as possible with Psychic even if the previous
summon is still there. This renews the summon and prevents the
weakened summon from being killed and turned into a kitten.
2. Awk Succuba, Javelin, Psychic, Phoenix, Revolver (confirmed kill)
a. This build also does massive damage, unsurprising given the makeup of the
comp. The strategy remains the same as the one above.
3. Sisha, Succuba/Nurse/Awk Elvis/Nona, Phoenix, Javelin, Revolver
a. This is a build without Psychic or Rhea and does a fair bit of damage, maybe
around 2 million at its best.
b. If you go with Sisha, youll need a healer, whether thats Succuba, Nurse, or
awakened Elvis. Its possible to use Nona as the healer, but make sure she and
Sisha are geared enough to survive long enough to activate Nonas healing skill
for the entire team.
4. Awk Succuba/Sisha, Blowie (recommended awakened Blowie), Phoenix, Revolver/Awk
Elvis/Wraith, Rhea/Nona
a. This is surprisingly a lineup that few people use, mostly because people have
become so used to relying on Javelin. The problem with Javelin against Fantasy
Kitty becomes evident the first time you fight against Kitty and see your Javelin
get locked down and killed in the next two hits. By taking out Javelin from your
lineup, you remove this problem altogether.
b. Wraith isnt strictly necessary here. She does help Phoenix achieve that first ult
faster, but later on in the battle, Kitty starts doing so much damage that Phoenixs
mp bar gets filled, making Wraith useless.
c. Awakened Blowie and Elvis both increase magic damage done to enemy, which
is why theyre both suggested. Blowie does do quite a bit of damage herself, but
compared to Phoenix, its insignificant.
d. Rhea is there for survivability while Nona is there for damage. This build,
however, probably wont be enough to kill Fantasy Kitty with or without Rhea.

Things to Note:
[SX] Choice in BGs
1. Youll find that Wu Kong isnt on the suggested team comps. Yes, Ive seen people do
massive damage with Wu Kong in their lineup against Kitty. Ive personally done over 2
million in damage with Wu Kong in my lineup. However, this is probably not a good idea
for most people unless you think you can rush to 5 million damage relatively quickly or
have a lineup with a whole lot of sustain. Every Wu Kong clone killed becomes a kitten
and makes it that much harder for you to survive.
a. It is for this same reason Aeris would not be a good choice as a decoy despite
the fact that her teeth stand in front of an ult-activated Javelin and take priority
damage from Kittys attacks. Her teeth are too squishy.
Fantasy Muppet

Fantasy Muppet is the tankiest of all the bosses. She operates in a reverse
manner from the other Fantasy bosses. Bosses like Fantasy Zombia, Fantasy
Kitty, and Fantasy Assassin hit frontline enemies much harder (or tag them
with more frequent CC) than rear BGs. Fantasy Muppet, however, does the
opposite. She targets rear BGs far more frequently and hit them harder. She
knock ups multiple rear BGs (skill 1), stuns the rear most BG (skill 2), strikes
enemies harder the more BGs they have in front of them (skill 3). Her last skill
is an RNG-dependent damage reduction skill that can reduce magic/physical
damage. Also, like the other bosses, she gets stronger the more health she
loses.

[ALL] Basic Strategy

1. Pets
a. Which pet you use here does not matter. Personally, I prefer defensive pets, but
thats something specific to my playstyle. There are plenty of people who do just
fine (or even better) with pets like Bunny.
b. The pets you probably wont need are Yoba and Ricika as accuracy and dodges
have few applications here. Furthermore, the CC protection that those two pets
give are useless here unless you use Yoba to support a mostly INT-based team
with Revolver as the rear.
i. Note: This is probably not a good idea.
2. Decoy
a. Nonetheless, youll need a decoy here, except this decoy has to be placed at the
rear. Muppets second skill stuns the rearmost girl. If Revolver ends up being the
final girl, she wont be doing too much damage. I personally havent found the
ideal decoy, but Hottie works well in this regard. Just make sure to have your
DPS options stand in front of your decoy girl.
3. [Non-SX] Choice in DPS
a. Boxer will be your go-to girl for Fantasy Muppet. Other girls may do more
damage depending on RNG, but Boxer will be the one giving you stable damage
as she never gets tagged with CC.
b. Unfortunately, Wild Girl and Caitlyn are poor options here unless you have a girl
standing behind them. Even so, their attacks still get interrupted by Muppets
knockup and neither ramps up enough speed to do significant damage. Given the
lack of DPS options for f2p players, you may not have a choice.
i. Just make sure to use Hottie or any other girl who stands behind them to
serve as the decoy for Muppets stun.
c. It may be wise to include Blowie or Annie in the lineup to mitigate the effects of
Muppets fourth skill, which reduces either physical damage or magic damage.
By using a hybrid-damage lineup, youll insure that some damage will always get
through.
4. [SX] Choice in DPS
a. Naturally, Javelin is the perfect BG here. She stands in front of every BG after
she ults and takes the least amount of damage from Muppet and is never
targeted with CC.
b. Wu Kong is a terrible BG here, even though some people use her for her DPS.
With Wu Kongs clones, the girls behind the clones take 15% more damage per
clone.
c. You may also want to use Phoenix or Amelia to mitigate the effects Muppets
fourth skill.

[Non-SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

Tanks:
1. Boxer, Aquaris
Healers:
1. Nurse, Succuba, Scythe
DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Blowie, Jinx, Annie, Lavia
2. Physical Attackers: Gambler, Caitlyn, Boxer, Wild Girl, Pandaria
Support:
1. Elvis/Nagia, Angel, Hottie, Rhea, Jelly

[Non-SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Boxer, Anna/Gambler, Rhea, Wild Girl/Pandaria, Hottie
a. Boxer and Anna will be doing stable damage across different attempts as Muppet
rarely touches the frontmost girls (aside from her AOE whip).
b. Unless you go 3 front and 2 mid/back or 4 front and 1 back, Muppet will knock up
most of your midline and rearline. And the one who wont get knocked up will be
Annie/Blowie because of where they stand. This is nearly unavoidable. This is
what having frontline attackers is so important against Fantasy Muppet.
c. Hottie isnt there for DPS, so as long as she gets her armor reduction skill off, she
serves her purpose.
d. Wild Girl may not be as good of an option here. Even if Wild Girl isnt the one
being stunned by Muppets single target stun, Wild Girl will be affected by
Muppets ult. Pandaria is far more of an offensive support for Boxer and Anna to
do the bulk of the damage.
2. Scythe, Elvis/Aeris, Awk Blowie, Annie or [AGI], Nagia/Angel
a. This is an INT-oriented lineup that only works well if you have awakened Blowie.
Elvis, Blowie, Angel, Aeris, and Nagia are all options to increase magic attack,
either by raising spell penetration for your team or lowering spell resist for the
boss. You can use an agility girl instead of Annie (or Elvis/Aeris/Nagia/Angel) but
I personally found that the damage often goes down when Muppets 4th skill
activates to reduce magic damage.
b. Its important to note that Aeris goes very well with Nagia, so keep those two
together whether you use them or not.

[SX] Useful BGs to Invest in:

DPS:
1. Magic Attackers: Phoenix, Amelia
2. Physical Attackers: Sonya, Revolver, Javelin, Nobunaga
Support:
1. Wraith, Nona

[SX] Sample Team Composition:

1. Javelin, Phoenix, Rhea, Nona, Revolver
a. Revolver is here purely for her attack buff. Yes she does damage, but shell be
absorbing most of the stuns from Muppet. Rheas skill reduction prevents
Muppets attacks from killing Revolver, while Javelin and Phoenix attack Muppet.
2. Javelin, Phoenix, Nona/Jelly, Revolver, Hottie
a. Hottie serves a dual role. She absorbs most of the stuns from Muppet (she
stands behind Revolver) and she reduces Muppets physical defense, which
Hottie does frequently enough that stuns wont matter.

Things to Note:
[ALL] Priority Order of Rear BG
1. [Closer to Back] Archie - Hottie - Angel - Caitlyn - Wild Girl - Pandaria - Sasuke -
Tennese - Sailor - Nurse - Geisha - Robin - Wraith - Octagirl - Revolver - Amazon -
Nagia - Jelly - Sapphire - Nona [Closer to Front]
a. Note that Hottie stands behind almost every other BG so she will be the one
absorbing all the stuns from Muppet. This is especially important to keep in mind
if you want to rely on Wild Girl or Revolver as any sort of significant damage.
Game Mode: PVP

Chances are that you skipped the 20 or so pages above just to get to this section. Because lets
face it...when we talk about whether certain BGs are worth having, were really referring to
whether they are useful in PVP.

Disclaimer: The meta on each server is different, so this may not necessarily reflect the
specific meta in your server. Furthermore, much of this is my opinion based on my experience
in the game. Use this as a general guideline, not as absolute truth.

PVP Tier List (updated 7/24/2017)

The tiers are as follows:

Uber (only for late game): Competitive for Challenger teams
Overused: Competitive for top TF teams and in Arena
Borderline: Commonly seen on the top 1-on-1 teams, but rarely on top TF teams
Underused: Niche BGs who may be very powerful in proper compositions, but rarely
seen in competitive play
Rarely Used: Rarely seen BGs with no place in PVP in the current meta

Note: Due to (perceived) popular demand, Ive updated this list to include SX girls.

Ive decided to color code to make this easier on the eyes. Note that the colors correspond to
the respective gear colors.
Early game: lvl 1-55
Mid game (early): 55-70
Mid game (late): lvl 70-89
Late game: lvl 90+ (post-awakenings)
Early Game (lvl 1-55)

Early game is dominated by two factors: (1) base damage of skill and (2) star level of BG. As
such, almost every base 3 star girl will be incredibly powerful.
1. Saint, Cynthia, and Amazon have skills that have incredibly high base damage,
regardless of their star level. SX girls, most notably Guan Yin, also fall into this category.
2. Zhi Yao would be the perfect example of the second category. She appears incredibly
powerful due to her 5 star strength growth.

Early game performance is a terrible indicator of late game strength. And early game is entirely
deficient of an actual meta as victories are almost entirely determined by attack power (AP).

Early Portion of Mid Game (lvl 55-70)

For the most part, by this point, players have promoted their 1-star and 2-star BGs and there are
enough gears to make the remaining variance due to star levels much smaller. Base damage of
skills, however, still determine a huge portion of a BGs damage as BGs are not quite leveled
high enough for their stats to play a large role in determining damage.

Nonetheless, mid game, unlike early game, still does have a meta, so consider the tier list below
as the first true tier list for PVP.

The earlier part of mid game is mostly dominated by teams that fall in the standard model
category. These teams have incredibly high levels of synergy and are extremely specialized in
their modes of attack (i.e. only physical attack or only magic attack). Niche teams are hardly
ever seen, resulting in a very small pool of girls in the rarely used section.

Late Portion of Mid Game (lvl 70-90)

The latter half of mid game is the start of the part of the game where gear-grinding becomes
excruciatingly painful. As such, it becomes important to prioritize girls. Stat growth and gears
matter increasingly more and base damage of skills matter much less. Some BGs with
monstrous early game power will begin to fall off.

At this point, especially with increase in power of pets, the game is no longer dominated by
simple teams that specialize in a single aspect. Standard magic teams struggle against even a
mediocre team supported by pet Ricky or Haro and standard agility teams likewise have
difficulties with Bobo-supported teams. As such, it becomes very important to have versatile
teams. Previously niche teams like sustain teams become viable and plenty of other new niche
teams such as Himoto-silence teams, Anna-Liah knockup teams, etc. start making
appearances.

Late Game (lvl 90+, includes awakenings)

Late game is dominated by hybrid teams. These teams often lack the insane synergy that teams
in mid-game had, but they compensate for this with versatility and ability to fight against multiple
teams with different compositions. Thats not to say that late game teams lack any synergy. With
the introduction of a 5th skill via awakenings, BGs have another skill that gives them the
opportunity to contribute to and fit better on their teams. Awakenings also close the gap
(somewhat) between non-SX girls and SX girls (3 star ones at least).

The meta is constantly changing. Once Cpt. Sun comes out, the entire meta and tier lists will be
turned on its head. Aside from a very few exceptions, there arent any trash BGs, only
trash compositions.

PVP Team Compositions

The hardest portion and arguably the most entertaining portion of the game is creating team
compositions for PVP. Considering how many combinations there are, I wont be able to cover
every comp or even every type of team comp. I will try to provide the standard types of comps
that are regularly used on top floor, 1-on-1, and arena.

Due to demand, this section was re-organized by game phases (and with more specific
examples) so as to make it easier for people to understand the types of comps that are being
used at the relevant phases in the game.
Early Game (LVL 1-55)

It was already mentioned in the PVP Tier section that early game comps are a complete mess
for a plethora of reasons.

First, the lack of BGs at this stage of the game. People have not had chances to farm BGs and
are forced to roll with whatever BG they have on hand.

Second, the inherent frailty of low-leveled BGs. The entire battle basically can swing the other
way if a BG gets silenced or interrupted on an ult (this is not true for late game battles when
teams trade ults back and forth), making low-level battles an exercise in RNG.

Third, the huge difference in star levels. An Aquaris is a better girl overall than Skarivine, but a
one-star Aquaris doesnt stand a chance against a 3-star Skarivine.

While specific comps do not exist at this stage of the game, there are, however, BGs who excel
in early game. The goal of early game is simply to throw together BGs with the highest stars
along with the few girls who have powerful early game skills.

Unsurprisingly, most SX girls are incredibly powerful at this stage in the game, so Ill skip over
them.

Note: The list below is not comprehensive, but it contains a few girls who are abnormally
powerful relative to their star level early game AND were/are easily obtained (i.e. log-in girls).
Youll find that Zhi Yao is not on this list because Zhi Yaos strength comes purely from her 5*
power rather than her skillset.

[Non-SX] Front
1. Wildtress
a. Even at 2-stars, Wildtress will outperform a 5-star Zhi Yao as a tank. At this stage
in the game, Wildtress has fantastic stats with a bit of CC. But what makes her
stand out is her blue skill: Barbarian. This skill grants a shield to all her allies for
the first seconds of the battle.
i. Counters: Any opening movies - Blowie, Tennese, Guan Yin, Angel,
Samurai, Fencer
ii. Countered by: Captain Sun, pet Fran
2. Dracula
a. Dracula is naturally powerful at this point because of her 3-star tankiness.
However, Draculas power goes beyond that. Her Blood Mist can shred the
enemy frontline all by itself and her health regeneration makes her almost
impossible to kill.
i. Counters: Most frontlines
ii. Countered by: Phoenix
3. Chevalir
a. Chevalier has two powerful weapons - her green skill Venomous Stab and her ult
Burst Will. Venomous Stab silences the entire enemy frontline and prevents them
from using skills. Basically, it makes them sitting ducks. Considering that BGs are
very frail early on, this makes for an easy win for teams running Chevalir.
Furthermore, Chevalirs ult usually one-shots an enemy when she uses it...again,
because BGs are very frail early on. Later on, Chevalirs ult isnt able to kill
enemies as reliably even if they are below 30% health because of increased
tankiness.
i. Counters: Multiple front-line teams, most frontline BGs
ii. Countered by: Solo tank teams, magic burst
4. Shamoke
a. Given her skill-set, Shamoke is unsurprisingly effective early on. She blinds and
stuns frequently, preventing the enemy team from hitting her.
i. Counters: Multiple front-line teams, agility-based teams
ii. Countered by: Magic-based teams, Athena
5. Athena
a. Athena is one of the few BGs with an attack steroid this early in the game. It
makes her very strong early as her ult adds 20-30% in extra damage. She goes
very well with Geisha or any other healer on the same team.
i. Counters: Shamoke
ii. Countered by: Chevalir
6. Matador/Silvia
a. They are both divers and take different approaches to diving. Matador is more or
less a suicide bomber. Matador takes out the enemy rear line but usually dies in
the process. Silvia is more tanky and draws enemy attention to buy time for her
teammates to slaughter the enemy tank.
i. Counters: AGI-based rears
ii. Countered by: Magic-based teams

[Non-SX] Middle
1. Saint
a. Saint is the paragon example of early game meta. As an agility girl, she has
powerful basic attacks, unlike most of the girls on this list. But her ult is just as
powerful as the ults of the INT girls in this list, making her a threat every moment
of the battle.
2. Annie
a. Annie has one of the highest stats in the game among INT girls paired with
fantastic base damage on her skills. Shes the queen of resets. She will ult, kill,
transfer ult to another girl, kill, transfer ult, to another girl, kill, and then ult again.
3. Flash
a. In the early stages of the game, Flash will carry you single-handedly. She cycles
through her skills incredibly quickly, bypassing the weaknesses of most INT girls
(their basic attacks are weak and slow). Furthermore, her skills have a bit of CC,
either igniting or blinding enemies.
4. Cythnia
a. Cynthia is an early game monster with an incredibly high base damage on her
skills. Her ult can instantly wipe the enemy team off the map and her DOT is
powerful in the early stages of the game. Her weakness, however, lies in her
relatively poor mp charge rate.
5. Lily
a. Lily has poor stats for an INT girl and has an abysmal mp charge rate, but she
still makes it on this list. Her base damage on her ult is high, making up for her
poor stats, and her heavy CC prevents the enemy team from gaining mp by
freezing or slowing their attack speed.
6. Lightin
a. Lightin has poor stats for an INT girl and poor base damage on her skills as well.
However, she makes up for this by having an extra star over the other INT girls
around this time of the game and because of her incredibly fast mp charge rate
mixed with her ability to interrupt.

[Non-SX] Rear
1. Amazon
a. Amazon is essentially the rear version of Cynthia. She too is an early game
monster, with an ult thats able to clear the map of enemies. Shes easier to use
than Cynthia as well since shes faster and stronger with her basic attacks and
also has physical damage & stuns on some of her skills, making her more
well-rounded. Her weakness would be the time-lag after she ults, as she tends to
be very vulnerable during this time. Given that shes in the back, however, this
delay isnt too problematic.
2. Sailor
a. Sailor doesnt do too much damage by herself, but she utterly wrecks any team
running a solo lineup by sending the tank into the back and exposing the squishy
middle girls. Her missiles also sends enemy BGs wandering all over the place
and disrupts formations completely.
i. Counters: Any team with only one primary tank
ii. Countered by: Multi-tank teams with two or more primary tanks
3. Stella
a. Stella has a nice mix of damage and CC. While its probably impossible to try and
predict her skill rotation, she does high levels of damage. She isnt like Saint,
Amazon, or Cynthia and probably wont wipe teams off the map with a single ult,
she is nonetheless a powerful option in the back.
Mid Game Part 1 (LVL 55-70)

The early portion of mid-game (lvl 55-70) is the first phase of the game where team comps can
make or break your team.

For the most part, these early comps are relatively simple. The particular types of comps that
find success at these levels are offensive synergistic teams, mostly because BGs still remain
very squishy. Usually, these are teams that stack auras and buffs. Note that the difference
between auras and buffs is that auras are permanent and buffs are temporary.

Below are some examples of team comps common around this level range.

Note: Keep in mind that these are theoretical comps to show you the thought process that goes
into building teams. Directly copying these teams wont necessarily make you successful.

AGI-based Teams

Up to now, agility BGs were quite weak, but many of their purple skills are attack or speed
steroids. Some of them enhance themselves (i.e. Caitlyn, Boxer) while others boost the entire
team (i.e. Archie, Gambler, Pandaria).

The benefit of using an agility team is that agility teams can be effective immediately and these
teams has built-in sustain in the form of lifesteal. They are, however, susceptible to blinds and at
this point in the game, BGs have a much higher physical defense/spell resist ratio, making it
harder for physical attacks to do as much damage to enemies.

Examples:
1. Standard AGI Team: [Tank], Boxer, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn
a. Rationale:
i. The goal is to stack the team-wide physical damage auras of Gamblers
and Pandarias purple skills. Boxer provides heavy damage against
enemy tanks while Caitlyn provides multi-target damage.
b. Weaknesses:
i. This is a team specialized for physical damage. As such, teams with
defensive skills such as Fencers defensive buff, Joans physical damage
reduction, or pet Bobo physical defense aura will make short work of this
team.
c. [Non-SX]: Variations
i. Archie can be used instead of either Gambler or Pandaria, as Archie has
an AGI aura.
1. Archie is stronger than Pandaria but weaker than Gambler.
However, Pandaria does provide a bit more utility, AOE damage,
and is useful for other game modes, whereas Archie is not.
ii. Tennese can be used instead of Gambler or Pandaria as Tennese has
both a physical damage & attack speed buff (first 10 seconds) AND an
AGI aura (permanent).
d. [SX]: Variations
i. Revolver can replace Pandaria. Revolver has a speed buff and a damage
buff (not limited to physical attack).
ii. Fencer can replace Caitlyn, although youll only want to do this from time
to time depending on the enemy team. Fencer has a speed buff (thus has
more synergy than Caitlyn) and provides multi-target damage like Caitlyn
does. However, it will take a while for Fencer to ult, which is her primary
means of damage. Ennmaya is also an option, if you want to use an
exotic BG, but she cycles between single-target and multi-target damage,
so its better to use Caitlyn.
iii. Alice or Javelin can replace Boxer if you need to attack enemy rear.
Sonya can also replace Boxer for both damage and for utility as Sonya
can blind and stun enemy teams.
2. Ideal AGI Team: [Tank], Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn
a. Rationale:
i. The idea is to combine the effects of physical damage auras while
reducing the physical defense (armor-break/armor shred) of the enemy
team provided by Dracula, increasing damage drastically.
ii. The armor shred reduces defenses so this team wont simply fold against
defensive buffs and auras. Furthermore, Dracula does magic damage
with her blood mist and bypasses any physical defense auras/buffs the
enemy team might have.
b. Weaknesses
i. Much of the damage is still physical in nature and against a solid team
running defensive auras, you may not be able to take the enemy team
down fast enough.
c. [Non-SX]: Variations
i. Smartie can replace Caitlyn for those without Caitlyn, as Smarties basic
attacks are AOE in nature. Max is also a good replacement for Caitlyn if
you have her.
ii. Smartie can replace Pandaria as well to provide more AOE damage and
utility. However, Smartie doesnt have the physical damage aura that
Pandaria does.
iii. Wildtress is the standard tank at this level, but she can be replaced with
Leona, Sisha, or Zombia. All three of them provide armor reduction of
their own.
iv. Dracula can be replaced with Sisha, Zombia, or even Rosie in conjunction
with Caitlyn being replaced with Archie or Boxer for more single-target
damage.
v. Dracula can also be replaced with Jelly, who provides both attack
damage buff and armor reduction. Unlike Dracula, however, Jelly does
very little damage.
d. [SX]: Variations
i. Dracula can be replaced by Werewolf who provides greater armor shred
than Dracula.
ii. Revolver can replace Pandaria. As noted above, Revolver has her own
damage buff. But she also has her Flare, which can remove enemy
teams defensive buffs (it doesnt remove auras though).

INT-based Teams

INT BGs are individually quite strong, even in this phase of the game. Girls like Cynthia, Lily,
Amazon, and even Blowie (once she gets points in her purple skill) can nearly wipe the entire
enemy team off the map if they manage to ult in succession. Annie and Lavia wont destroy
entire enemy teams by themselves, but they can cripple an enemy team by usually killing at
least one BG.

The issue with INT BGs is trying to keep them alive until they can ult. Some INT girls have
built-in sustains, such as Annie, Blowie, and Phoenix, all of them require their ults for the
sustain, which is difficult when youre trying to keep them alive until they can ult. Furthermore,
dedicated support girls such as Geisha, Nurse, Scythe, Joan, Succuba all have incredibly weak
heals at this point in the game.

Examples:
1. Standard INT Team: [Tank], [Any], [Any], [Any], Angel
a. Rationale:
i. Angel increases spell power and occasionally increases the mp of a girl
on the team. Generally, almost any non-support INT girl will fit into the
role of attacker here. Angel also opens the battle with a blind and can
reduce the rate of mp gain of enemy teams (because theyll miss their
basic attacks).
b. Weaknesses:
i. Similar to the agility teams above, a pure magic team will have trouble
against teams with high spell resist. Considering that there are 3 pets
designed to combat magic attacks (Haro, Ricky, and Dodo) as opposed to
one for physical attacks (Bobo), a pure magic comp is far more easily
crippled than a pure agility comp.
ii.
Another weakness is that fact that many of the best INT BGs are middle
girls. In mid-game, most middle girls are quite squishy and get destroyed
by Caitlyn and other AOE attackers.
2. Ideal INT Team: [Tank], Elvis, [Any], [Any], Angel
a. Rationale:
i. Elvis purple skill reduces enemy teams spell resist. This allows for
greater magic damage similar to how armor reduction allow for greater
physical damage.
b. Weaknesses:
i. While spell resist reduction can help, the biggest problem is % damage
reduction. Succubas purple skill, Haros aura, and Dodos aura all reduce
magic damage by %. At this stage in the game, unlike with armor, most
BG wont have much spell resist to reduce anyway.
c. [Non-SX]: Variations
i. Elvis can be replaced with Nagia, Sailor, or Stella, among others.
ii. Angel is relatively weak at this stage in the game and can be replaced
altogether with another DPS.

Hybrid Teams

While hybrid teams do offer all-around damage and fewer weaknesses, the trade-off here is that
they also offer the least DPS on a consistent basis. Still, for a TF defense team, its probably
better to use a team with fewer exploitable weaknesses than one with fantastic strengths and
crippling weaknesses.

Examples:
1. Magic-supported Agility Team: [Tank], Samurai, Dracula, Gambler, Caitlyn
a. Rationale:
i. This is basically the Ideal Agility Team with Samurai replacing Pandaria.
While Samurai is a STR girl, she does mostly magic damage in the form
of DOT and gives the team and different source of damage. Samurai also
provides utility by locking down a single BG on the enemy team and
preventing her from using her ult as long as Samurai has mp.
ii. Samurai does AOE damage and synergizes extremely well with Dracula
and Caitlyn, who both do multi-target damage.
b. Weaknesses:
i. This team is running 3 fronts, so is susceptible to teams that run anti-front
lineups like Fencer, Assassin, Shamoke, Sonya, Werewolf, Dracula, Cpt
Sun, etc.
ii. Caitlyn is particularly weak to divers. By taking Pandaria out, thats one
less source of agility based damage. If Caitlyn dies, this teams DPS falls
off a cliff.
c. [Non-SX]: Variations:
i. Samurai is an exclusive event girl and most people probably dont have
her. Samurai can be replaced with Annie, Jinx, or Amazon.
1. Annie does both single-target and multi-target damage and can
lock down an enemy as well, although its nowhere near as
effective as Samurais ult. Annie, however, makes up for this by
providing a spell-resist aura, boosting the teams ability to survive.
2. Jinx and Amazon both do hybrid damage and can take advantage
of Draculas armor shred while still providing a different mode of
attack in magic damage. They provide their own versions of utility
as well: Jinx blinds enemy teams (better against agility teams) and
Amazon occasionally stuns.
2. Agility-Supported Magic Team: [Tank], Elvis, Lily, Annie, Caitlyn
a. Rationale:
i. While agility teams are quite powerful at this stage of the game, mostly
due to buffs and auras, in terms of burst damage, INT girls are generally
more powerful than their agility counterparts.
ii. The goal is to try to stay alive long enough for INT girls to ult. Lily slows
down enemy team with her slows.
iii. Not only does Elvis reduce enemy teams spell resist, Elvis provides a
defensive buff for the tank, insuring that the tank stays alive to absorb the
damage. Annies aura protects the tank (and the team) from enemy magic
openers such as Blowies Storm Impact or Angels Holy Light.
iv. Caitlyn provides the physical damage for the team and counters enemy
middle girls.
b. Weaknesses:
i. This team is weak to enemy Caitlyns and to divers such as Javelin,
Matador, Silvia, Jade, and Alice.
c. [Non-SX]: Variations:
i. Lily can be replaced with Lavia. The overall damage decreases with Lavia
as she can only attack the tank with her ult instead of the entire enemy
team, but Lavia can also slow down the enemy team by stunning the
enemy frontline and front-most middle girls.
ii. As noted above, Elvis can be replaced with other girls with spell resist
reduction. Aeris is probably the best option here considering that she can
reduce spell resist AND armor, making her ideal for a hybrid team. Sailor
is also a fantastic option, especially if the enemy team is running one
tank.
iii. Caitlyn can be replaced with Amazon if you dont have her or if divers are
giving you a particularly hard time. Amazon isnt exactly a hard counter to
divers by any means, but shes tankier than Caitlyn and she has boosts to
dodge rate with her purple skill, making her able to avoid attacks that
would kill Caitlyn or any other rear.

Things to Note:
1. [Non-SX] What if I dont have Caitlyn?
a. This question came up in a reddit thread and I decided that it was worth
addressing here. Yes, Caitlyn is listed for every single agility AND hybrid team
comp above. No, this isnt because I decided to be lazy and just slapped Caitlyn
into team comps.
i. Having Caitlyn is not a suggestion, but rather a requirement if you want to
be competitive.
b. Caitlyn is necessary because she completely f***s over enemy middle girls with
her penetrate skill. This shuts down any enemy middle girl not named Muppet.
c. Yes, you can try to use an agility comp that doesnt have Caitlyn. Something like
Wildtress, Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Tennese sounds pretty good. Gambler,
Pandaria, and Tennese all have offensive auras that can stack and boost team
damage. And on paper, this is fantastic. However, that sort of lineup has nowhere
near the killing power of Caitlyn who can burst down enemy middle girls in as
little as 15-20 seconds.
d. IF you have SX dive girls such as Hexa, Nobunaga, and Alice, then you can toy
around with different agility girls.
Mid Game Part 2 (LVL 70-90)

The second half of mid-game (lvl 70-90) is dominated by defensive comps and utility comps.
Stall comps, sustain comps, stun comps all become very common during these levels. Simply
running purely offensive AGI teams or INT teams will no longer work as pets become stronger
and as BGs start gaining massive amounts of armor and spell resist.

There is a great deal of effort put into teams to maximize the teams chances to either ult first
(i.e. stun teams, silence teams) or survive a barrage from the enemy team (i.e. stall/sustain
teams)

The stall team below is the one being used by my f2p account (my main account is vip9) and
shows just how effective a well-made stall team can be, even against teams at much higher
levels.

This section will be updated in the near future. For now, please refer to the section on [Archive]
Standard Models: Stun Teams and Stall/Sustain Teams.
Stall/Sustain Teams

The basic idea of a stall/sustain team is to keep the team alive for a specific amount of time. In
full stall/sustain teams, which are used exclusively on defense teams, the goal is to aim for a
time-out to prevent the attacker from winning.

Most stall teams, however, will aim to stall up to a certain point and then go on the counter
attack. In other words, most stall teams are an idealized form of the magic burst comp
mentioned above, stalling the enemy team until your teams ults are ready.

Note: There are now anti-stall BGs and pets such as Marynari and pet Eira.

[Archive] Models for Teams

Standard Models

Generally, team comps involve 2 front-line BGs and 3 mid/rear BGs. In terms of roles, you have
1 primary tank, 1 off-tank, 2 DPS, and 1 support.

Below are several types of compositions used in the game. These are merely guidelines to
help you build a team; it is your job to create a solid team yourself. And dont forget that
these models are standardized models. Most teams that are used are actually hybrid teams that
include elements of all these models.

AGI-based Team:
1. Standard DPS: Wildtress, Dracula, Gambler, Caitlyn, Pandaria/Archie
a. Dracula serves to reduce the physical defense of enemy team
b. Gamblers and Pandarias purple skills stack and increase entire teams physical
attack
i. Pandaria can be replaced by Archie as well. Archie boosts agility, which
helps the AGI BGs more, but doesnt help the non-AGI BG as much.
1. Archie has better stat growth than Pandaria does, but Archies ult
is unreliable as its damage is dependent on enemys health.
c. Caitlyn serves to counter powerful INT-based middle BGs other team might be
using as well as providing fantastic DPS
2. Standard Caitlyn-less DPS: Wildtress, Dracula, Boxer, Gambler, Pandaria
a. Since Caitlyn is so hard to obtain, many people might not have her
b. Replace Caitlyn with Boxer, who is a great DPS option
i. While Boxer is a front-line BG, her ability to tank is rather limited in early
to mid game so she usually needs to be next to two other tanks.
3. Mid-Game Nuke variation: Wildtress, Dracula, Gambler, Saint, Caitlyn
a. Saint is an early game monster and does a tremendous amount of damage even
in the early to middle portions of mid-game.
4. Speed-based DPS: Wildtress, Dracula, Gambler, Caitlyn, Tennese
a. Tennese is a fantastic offensive support, boosting attack speed, physical attack,
AND agility. This comes at the cost of her own individual DPS, however.
5. Anti-Caitlyn variation: Wildtress, Dracula, Boxer, Pandaria, Caitlyn
a. Caitlyn destroys mid-line BGs. Unfortunately, that includes Gambler. To mitigate
the damage that Caitlyn does, youll have to use 3 front line BGs and 2 rear line
BGs.
i. Note that using 3 rear line BGs pushes one to the middle
6. CC variation: Wildtress, Dracula, Gambler, Caitlyn, Amazon/Smartie
a. Amazon:
i. Amazon does hybrid physical and magic damage. Therefore, she can fit
in quite well in an AGI-comp, especially in early game and the early
portions of mid-game.
ii. Amazon gives a nice CC option to stun enemy tanks and prevent them
from ulting as quickly as your own tanks.
b. Smartie:
i. Smarties ult freezes enemies in place, giving you a few seconds of time
to attack without receiving damage.
ii. Smartie also does AOE damage with her basic attacks.

Things to Remember: If youre missing some of the listed BGs (i.e. Caitlyn), you can replace
them with other AGI-based BGs.

INT-based Team:
1. Standard Nuke: Wildtress, [off-tank], Lily/Cynthia, Annie, Amazon
a. The off-tank isnt particularly important. But a standard magic comp needs to
have powerful nukers.
i. Early game, Amazon and Cynthia are the most powerful AOE nukers and
Annie is the strongest single-target nuker.
ii. Late game, all three of them fall off a bit in different ways.
1. Amazon and Cynthia can no longer one-shot the entire enemy
team.
2. Annies damage doesnt fall off, but she isnt able to ult, reset MP,
then ult again over and over again. She wont be able to 1 vs 5 like
she was in early game.
2. Single-Tank Comp: Wildtress, Elvis/Nagia, Lily/Cynthia, Annie, Amazon
a. This strategy is essentially forgoing defense in favor of maximum offense
i. While Elvis & Nagia are support BGs, they both do a fair amount of
damage
b. Elvis
i. Elvis blue skill allows her to shield the front-most BG. This adds extra
defense and allows the tank to tank longer. Its not enough to replace an
entire tank and it doesnt protect against magic attacks, but it does buy
you some time.
ii. Elvis purple skill reduces enemy teams spell resist and makes them take
more damage from your attacks.
c. Nagia
i. Nagia has greater spell resist reduction than Elvis but it doesnt affect the
entire enemy team. Nagia also has a solid CC option that allows her to
freeze a single enemy.
Things to Remember: Caitlyn generally destroys INT-based BGs, as many of them are mid-line
BGs. So be aware when youre using a magic comp as your TF defense.

Stun Team:
1. Standard Stun Comp: Wildtress, Haxie, Lavia/Toys Girl, Muppet, Amazon
a. The stun comp takes advantage of Muppets purple skill, which does DOT to any
BG who is stunned or knocked up.
2. Anti-Caitlyn variation: Wildtress, Haxie, Muppet, Amazon, Nurse
a. Muppets blue skill prevents Caitlyn from building up her speed. While Caitlyn is
able to strike at Muppet, Muppet is the tankiest mid-line BG and with healing
support, Muppet can withstand Caitlyns attacks long enough to kill Caitlyn.
b. Amazon is used here instead of Lavia to avoid Caitlyns attacks. Not only is
Amazon a rear BG, Amazon has a high dodge rate to take advantage of Caitlyns
low hit rate on her ults.
3. Sustain-Stun Hybrid: Wildtress, Haxie, Ninja, Muppet, Nurse
a. Ninja doesnt have damage over time attacks, but she does regularly launch
attacks every few seconds once she activates her ult. That in conjunction with
Muppets DOT often whittles the enemy team down.
b. Nurse is present to drag the fight as long as possible and maximize Ninjas and
Muppets damage.

Things to Remember: Muppets purple skill only activates with knock-UPs and stuns.
Knockbacks do not activate her purple skill.

Stall/Sustain Team:
1. Magic Sustain Comp: Wildtress, Scythe, Ninja, Annie/Elvis, Nurse
a. Ninja has massive damage reduction as well as massive damage (spread out
over time). This strategy relies on Ninja to do a huge chunk of damage to every
enemy BG before Scythe/Annie ults and starts killing the enemy team one by
one.
b. Annie or Elvis is used for much needed defense/spell resist.
c. Note: this is the only f2p comp that can beat a Phoenix team on a consistent
basis. This team also works better against magic comps.
2. Physical Sustain Comp: Wildtress, Scythe, Sisha, Nurse, Caitlyn/Annie/Elvis
a. With the introduction of Sisha who also has massive damage reduction, we have
another possible comp.
i. Sisha plays the role of Ninja here.
ii. The recent update (12/16/2016) nerfed Sishas counter so she might
not be as popular of any option if the nerf remains permanent
b. Caitlyn has plenty of life-steal and plays a similar offensive role that Annie played
in the previous model.
i. Annie still can be used, especially against magic teams, but you probably
should use Ninja instead of Sisha for that.
ii. Using Caitlyn takes advantage of Sishas armor reduction debuff on the
enemy.
3. Troll Comp: Joan, Scythe, Phancy, Nurse, Geisha
a. This particular comp was popular in Season 1 of Arena. The idea is to aim for a
time-out as the challenge loses if all five defending BGs are still alive at the end
(for Top Floor and Arena; 1-on-1 compares damage done by both sides).
b. Phancy charges her ult faster than any other BG in the game and puts the enemy
team to sleep. Without AOE attackers on the team, the middle and rear BGs
remain asleep for much of the battle. And Scythe is able to ult and pick off the
enemies one by one. By the time most of the team wakes up, Phancy has her ult
ready again. Rinse, wash, repeat.
c. Counters (since this team was such a problem in Arena Season 1)
i. Speed DPS Comp: WT, Dracula, Samurai/Gambler/Archie, Caitlyn,
Tennese
1. Dracula reduces armor and a speed/attack boosted Caitlyn can
destroy Phancy
a. No, this counter doesnt always work, but youll be
hard-pressed to find any lineup that counters with 100%
frequency/reliability.
2. Putting in Samurai makes this counter better as Samurai does
DOT to front/middle BGs and Samurais ult prevention will usually
hit the enemy with highest MP (usually Phancy)
ii. Five-Front Comp: WT, Ninja, Scythe, Samurai/Haxie, Boxer (but really,
any 5 front-line BGs should be okay)
1. This troll comp usually requires Scythe to maximize its success
due to Scythes frequent and AOE heals. This opens up a
weakness in the troll comp, however. Scythes heal also does
AOE attacks to the enemy front-line, meaning that itll wake the
front-line enemies up. By stacking an entire team of tanks, even if
they fall asleep, theyll soon wake up because of Scythes AOE
heals
2. Just make sure to have a couple DPS front liners who can do
burst damage (i.e. Scythe, Boxer).
iii. Silence Comp: Ninja, Scythe, Blowie, Himoto/Caitlyn, Witch/Fanny
1. With Himoto in this lineup, the opponent team will be silenced
quite often. Ninja wakes up almost immediately after Phancys ult
and can continue to ult every few seconds. I may be wrong, but I
believe Blowies ult stays in effect even if she falls asleep. And all
it takes is for one, maybe two, Scythe ult to make the troll comp
fall apart
2. Without Himoto, the counter becomes a bit more difficult to pull off.
Caitlyn is a decent substitute as is another tank.
iv. Many others - Essentially, this troll comp is just that: a troll comp thats
designed to annoy people using standard f2p comps. Its nowhere near
the impenetrable wall that many people claimed last season. And it gets
torn apart by any SX lineups.

Things to Remember: Generally, Scythe and/or Nurse can be slotted into any team, whether it
be AGI-based, INT-based, etc. Also, sustain/teams are incredibly fragile in early to mid game.
Its only in late game where they shine.
Non-Standard Models

There are several examples of niche teams to keep in mind.

Disrupt/Dive Team: the team composition varies, but they include the following BGs
1. Silvia: Silvia is a tank that jumps to the enemy teams backline. Silvia draws the attention
of all the middle and rear BGs. This prevent them from attacking your tanks, give your
team more time to mow down enemy tanks. Silvia survives by damage reduction and
healing.
a. Note: Silvia is relatively weak to magic.
2. Karatine: Karatine is a poor mans Silvia, although comparing Karatine to Silvia in any
way is an insult to Silvia. Unlike Silvia who attracts the middle and rear BGs, Karatine
draws the attention of everyone. Karatine doesnt particularly have fantastic defensive
stats and doesnt have sustain like Silvia, but she compensates with a high dodge rate.
a. Note: Karatine too is relatively weak to magic.
3. Alice: Alice is an SX girl, but its important to know how she functions. She does dive, but
doesnt draw attention. In fact, shes untargetable and damages the rear BGs. Her ability
is to kill the enemy instead of drawing their attention away.
4. Javelin: Javelin is another SX girl. She teleports to the rear and wrecks havoc upon the
enemy team. Despite being a middle BG, shes a hard counter against Caitlyn,
especially a Caitlyn without healing support.
a. Note: Javelin is extremely squishy
5. Maidam: Maidam disrupts the enemy team in an odd way. She switches spots with the
furthest enemy BG. This basically places the enemys squishiest BG right within range of
your DPS options. When properly used, Maidam can serve as a solid Caitlyn counter.

Things to Remember: If the diver isn't shielded with Wildtress or Witchs shield, the initial dive
can be interrupted by early opening attacks like Tennese's blue skill, Blowie's green skill, or just
even an early standard attack from Wildtress since she gets into fighting position earlier than
everyone.

Silencing Team:
1. Standard Silencing Team: Wildtress, Ninja/Scythe/Nurse, Himoto, Blowie, Witch
a. This team takes advantage of Himotos purple skill which does DOT damage to
silenced enemies, similar to how Muppets purple skill damages stunned
enemies.
b. Ninja, Blowie, Witch (and Fanny as well) all have silences and will result in the
enemy team being silenced quite often.
2. Sustain-Silencing Team: Wildtress, Ninja/Scythe, Himoto, Witch/Blowie, Nurse
a. This gives a bit of survivability to the previously very squishy team.
3. Anti-Caitlyn Silencing Team: Wildtress, Silvia, Himoto, Blowie, Witch/Ninja
a. Note that the silencers are mostly middle BGs, who are extremely susceptible to
Caitlyns attacks. To deal with this, Silvia is placed into the lineup to draw
Caitlyns attention away.

Things to Remember: Silencing teams are still very niche, given the popularity of Caitlyn and
the rarity of Silvia.

Blind/Dodge Team:
Dodge-Reliant BGs:
1. Tanks
a. Awakened Fortune can summon a clone for every dodge.
b. Lin AI heals with every dodge.
c. Karatine relies on a high dodge rate to survive
2. DPS
a. Cynthia & Amazon both have high dodge rates
Blinding BGs:
1. Tanks
a. Sonya - shes an SX girl. Her blinds are team-wide and have a relatively long
duraction
2. DPS
a. Jinx/Flash - Their blinds are short in duration, but they do lower the accuracy rate
for enemies
3. Support
a. Angel - She launches an initial blind - its blocked by Wildtress shield, however.
4. Pet
a. Ricika - it heals allies per dodge, boosts ally dodge rate, and randomly blinds a
couple enemies intermittently throughout the battle
Examples
1. Standard Blind-Dodge Team: Fortune/Lin AI, Jinx, Elvis/Angel, Amazon/Cynthia,
Scythe/Nurse with pet Ricika
a. Fortune/Lin AI dodges most of the basic attacks and the few that hit her do less
damage because of Elvis shield
b. Jinxs damage is boosted by Elvis spell resist debuff on enemy team or Angels
spell power boost
c. This team is a bit susceptible to magic damage, however
2. Standard Dodge Team: Lin AI/Fortune, [Off-Tank], [DPS], [DPS], Nurse
a. This doesnt take full advantage of the dodges because doing so often introduces
other problems. Note that in the previous example, there were a myriad of
problems such as the use of only a single tank, the general lack of DPS, and the
vulnerability to magic damage.
b. Instead of focusing on the dodges, its better to think of the dodges as
supplementary benefits.
c. One key thing to note is that dodge teams generally dont run Wildtress as
Wildtress stands in front of most of the dodge tanks.
3. Blind-Burn Team:
a. Version 1: Lin AI/Fortune, Ninja, Flash, Lavia, Angel/Nurse
i. This comp takes advantage of Flashs skillset, which allows her to do
more damage against blinded/burned enemies.
b. Version 2: Lin AI/Fortune, Ninja/Scythe, Flash, Jinx, Nurse
c. Note: Its not good to overly focus on Flashs skill-set and try to put in a BG with
blind/burn in every spot. Very few outside blinds last long enough to remain when
Flash ults.
i. Sustain is far more important than maximizing blinds & burns when using
Lin AI or Fortune.

Things to Remember: Blind/Dodge teams sound fun and exciting, but dedicated blind/dodge
teams are very niche, mostly because many BGs have hybrid damage and magic attacks arent
affected by blind. The dodges can tilt a battle in your favor, but if youre envisioning a battle
where you troll your opponent by making him/her miss on every attack, youll be sorely
disappointed.
[Archive] Game Mode: Trial

As of 1/7/2017, Trial is no longer offered as a game mode. I will however keep this section
up for people who want to use it as reference.

Once the highest player on your server reaches lvl 80, which is the soft level cap, a special
game mode called Trial will unlock.

There will be five bosses (in order): Lightin, Geisha, Aquaris, Lavia, and Pandaria. Each boss
will have unique skill-sets and youll need different composition of BGs to take them on. The
goal is to do as much damage as possible as youll be rewarded based on your total damage.
Youll have 5 tries per day and only your best try will count. You will have a daily Raid option
available that allows you to do the most damage youve done in history.

Trial Lightin

Lightin is the easiest of the bosses and shortest of the Trials (probably less than a week).
Generally, youll be using the same lineup you use for guild bosses.
However, there is one thing to note. With around 40 second remaining, Lightin will begin
to spam one of her skills and constantly interrupt your BGs. BGs who rely on steady
attacks (Wild Girl, Caitlyn) will be negatively affected.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

As mentioned before, youll be using the same BGs you used for guild battles. However,
different girls work better on Trial Lightin.

Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Sisha (if you dont have Dracula), Zombia (if you dont have
Dracula), Leona (if you dont have Dracula or Zombia)
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie

AGI-DPS:
Front: Boxer
Middle: Celeste, Gambler
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria

Support
Front: N/A
Middle: Celeste (attack speed)
Rear: Tennese (attack speed, AGI, physical attack)

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Heavy Burst DPS: Dracula, Boxer, Gambler, Pandaria, Hottie
2. Speed-based Burst DPS: Dracula, Gambler, Tennese, Pandaria, Hottie
3. Mixed Burst/Steady Damage DPS: Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn, Hottie

Things to Note:
Do I need healers?
1. Its unnecessary to use healers for Trial Bosses. Even at lvl 60, you have a solid chance
at surviving for most of the battle, if not until the very end.
Why is Dracula a better choice than Rosie against Trial Lightin, despite the fact that
opponent is a single target?
1. Yes, Trial Lightin is a single boss and Rosie is better at single-target debuffs. However,
Rosie is much more susceptible to interrupts than Dracula is. In the latter parts of the
battle, Rosie will not be able to land a single debuff against Lightin.
2. Moreover, Dracula has enough sustain to stay alive. Rosie, on the other hand, needs to
be heavily geared and enchanted to boost her spell resist and life-steal to stay alive. Not
a good use of resources, considering that the most efficient use of Rosie is to keep her
leveled (for her armor reduction), but not necessarily geared as much as your main BGs.
Why is Wild Girl not recommended?
1. Wild Girl relies on a steady stream of basic attacks in the last 30 seconds of a battle to
do the bulk of her damage. With Lightin constantly interrupting the team in the same last
30 seconds of the battle, Wild Girls effectiveness is curtailed severely here.
Isnt Caitlyn supposed to be the best AGI-based BG?
1. Normally, yes. And even here, Caitlyn is still solid against Lightin so feel free to use her
instead of Boxer or Pandaria. But you wont see her doing over a million damage by
herself here.
2. Caitlyn relies on ramping up her attack speed over time by not taking damage. Lightin
has a myriad of AOE attacks and as mentioned multiple times, she interrupts at will in
the latter stages of the battle.

Trial Geisha

Geisha is probably the boss that youll have to be most careful for in battle. DO NOT USE THE
AUTO FUNCTION!

Geisha uses allure (both single-target and team-wide) to charm your BGs into attacking one
another. If her allure happens to land right when youre using your ult (which almost always
happens when you use the auto function), youll only be wrecking your own team.
Useful BGs to Invest in:
Once again, youll be using the same BGs you used for guild battles. For the most part, the
same girls that worked for Trial Lightin work for Trial Geisha.

Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Zombia, Sisha, Leona
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie

AGI-DPS:
Front: Boxer
Middle: Celeste, Gambler
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria

Support
Front: N/A
Middle: Celeste (attack speed)
Rear: Tennese (attack speed, AGI, physical attack)

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Armor Reducing DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Caitlyn, Hottie
2. Speed-based DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Celeste/Tennese, Gambler, Caitlyn, Pandaria/Hottie

Things to Note:
Rosie vs Dracula
1. Rosie and Dracula both work here. I personally used Dracula for her sustain since she
can take a hit from anyone who gets allured and heal herself up. While Rosie does have
life-steal, I personally found that it sometimes wasnt enough to keep her alive the entire
battle. Plus, the animation for Rosies ult takes a long time for essentially nothing (since
Trial bosses cant be stunned).
Why is Wild Girl not recommended (again)?
1. Geez, for a BG whos supposed to be good at bossing, it really seems like Wild Girl cant
be used all that much.
2. Late into the game after Wild Girl has had multiple stacks on her ult, when Geisha uses
her team-wide allure, Wild Girl will one-shot your BGs with her b asic attack. Theres no
avoiding this so its just best just not to use Wild Girl. Sure, youll have Wild Girl still alive
to do massive individual damage to Geisha, but it hurts the overall team damage when
Gambler or Pandaria go down with 20-30 seconds still left.
Why is Boxer not recommended for Trial Geisha?
1. Geisha has two modes of allure: single-target and team-wide. Theres no avoiding the
team-wide allure. However, you can minimize the damage from the single-target allure. It
generally affects your front-most BG.
2. When Dracula (or Rosie), is your sole tank, only she gets affected. She doesnt do much
damage to your team. However, Boxer stands in front of Dracula (and Rosie) and ends
up being the one to get hit with the allure.
a. Boxer will promptly turn around and do massive damage against your tank. You
not only lost the damage that would have gone against Geisha, but depending on
the skill Boxer uses, you also might have slowed your own tank down and
increased the time itll take for the next armor debuff to take effect. And of course,
the worst case scenario is if Boxer ends up killing your tank.
3. Note: Boxer may be usable if youre using Leona as your armor reducer, since Leona
stands in front of Boxer.
a. But if youre using Leona, you probably wont be competing for the top spots for
total damage.

Trial Aquaris

Aquaris is the RNG boss of the Trial bosses and is probably the hardest boss to maintain
consistent damage over the different days. The Raid function will be your best friend here as
on some days, youll be doing massive damage and on other days, youll want to smash your
device because your entire team got CCed for a huge portion of the battle.

Aquaris opens the battle with a huge AOE stun. She then proceeds to summon different BGs,
who will all immediately unleash their ults. This is where you hope that Aquaris doesnt summon
powerful SX girls.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

Once again, youll be using the AGI-based BGs.

Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Zombia, Sisha, Leona
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie

AGI-DPS:
Front: Boxer
Middle: Celeste, Gambler
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria

Support
Front: Samurai (ult prevention)
Middle: Celeste (attack speed)
Rear: Tennese (attack speed, AGI, physical attack)
Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):
1. Ult-Prevention: Samurai, Rosie/Dracula, Gambler/Pandaria, Wild Girl, Caitlyn
2. Damage-based DPS:
a. Frontline DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Boxer, Gambler, Wild Girl, Caitlyn
b. Rearline DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Wild Girl, Caitlyn
i. Note: Pandaria will be stunned as shell move up to the middle
3. Armor-Reducing DPS:
a. Frontline DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Boxer/Gambler, Gambler/Pandaria, Wild Girl,
Hottie
b. Rearline DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Gambler, Pandaria, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Hottie
i. Note: Wild Girl will be stunned as shell move up to the middle
4. Speed-based DPS: Rosie/Dracula, Gambler, Celeste/Tennese, Wild Girl, Caitlyn

Things to Note:
Samurai
1. While Samurai isnt an SX girl in GxB, she is an event exclusive recharge girl. You may
or may not have her, but if you do, use her to delay Aquaris ult.
a. Some of the rear BGs can escape Aquaris ult. However, if you try to stack rear
BGs, some of them will be pushed forward and be affected by Aquaris ult.
2. Do not use Samurai as the lone tank as she attacks before she moves into her
frontline position. This delay will give Aquaris time to move closer to you and her ult will
subsequently affect your entire team instead of your front and middle BGs.
3. Samurai doesnt do massive damage against a single target (her DOT is AOE), but her
damage is impressive nonetheless.
Wild Girl
We finally have a Trial Boss where Wild Girl can shine. Aquaris ult usually doesnt reach
the rear line, so this is the perfect boss for Wild Girl.
In the latter portion of the match, Wild Girl will one-shot the BGs that Aquaris
summons, so shes a very good option to use.
If youre going to stack your team with rear BGs, keep in mind that Wild Girl stands in
front of Caitlyn and Hottie. Should you use that particular combination of rear BGs, Wild
Girl will be stunned whenever Aquaris ults. This isnt a deal breaker since Wild Girl
getting hit once in a while will only charge her ult faster, but its something to keep in
mind.

Trial Lavia

Lavia is unique among the Trial bosses in that she forces you to use BGs of the same type. One
of her skills immediately slaughters BGs of the least common type in your team. The only way to
get around this is to use all STR, all INT, or all AGI. Personally, I recommend that you use either
all AGI or all INT, but Ill write a guide for a potential STR lineup.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

STR-based (all front-line BGs)

Spell Power DPS:
Ninja, Samurai, Aquaris (mixed)

Physical DPS:
Chainsaw, Sisha, Aquaris (mixed)

Support:
Armor Reduction: Rosie, Dracula, Zombia, Leona
Healing: Joan, Succuba

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Sustain DPS: Ninja, Sisha, Chainsaw, Succuba, Joan
2. Physical Damage DPS: Sisha, Dracula, Rosie, Chainsaw/Aquaris, Succuba/Joan
3. Spell Power DPS: Ninja, Dracula/Sisha, Aquaris, Samurai, Succuba/Joan

Things to Note:
Disadvantages of a STR-based lineup
The problems are twofold: lack of damage and lack of sustain. They have fantastic
defensive stats, but thats generally all they have. Without healing support, their
defensive stats merely act as a delaying action before they inevitably die. And of course,
with so much of their stats & skills invested in defense, theres little in the way of offense.
Advantages of a STR-based lineup
Its fun to try
Exceptions - there are exceptions, however, and some STR-based BGs do massive
damage (unfortunately, most of the convenient options are SX girls like Sonya and
Fencer).
Ninja
Given enough time, Ninja does massive amounts of damage, even more
than some DPS options.
Ninjas only problem is that she has absolutely no sustain. She does have
damage reduction, but thats usually not enough to keep her alive for 90
seconds. She needs healing support.
Sisha
Sisha also does quite a bit of damage as well, although her damage is
dependent upon receiving damage. While she does has immunity to
damage, she too doesnt have much sustain, if any.
Chainsaw
Chainsaw is a legitimate DPS option, although there is a cap to her
damage. I personally dont use her much so Im not exactly sure just how
much damage she can do, but shes a much better option than the other
STR-based BGs in terms of pure damage.

INT-based
DPS-Nuke Hybrid:
Front: Quinnie
Middle: Jinx, Cynthia
Rear: Amazon

Pure Nukers:
Front: Scythe
Middle: Lavia, Annie, Lily, Blowie
Rear: N/A

Support:
Front: N/A
Middle: Elvis (spell resist reduction)
Rear: Angel (spell power boost, increase MP regen), Nagia (spell resist reduction),
Nurse/Geisha (healing)

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Pure Nuke: Scythe/Quinnie, Lavia, Annie, Lily, Elvis/Nagia/Angel
2. Rapid MP-charge: Scythe/Quinnie, Lavia, Annie/Jinx, Lily, Elvis/Nagia/Angel
3. Debuffer: Scythe/Quinnie, Lavia, Annie/Lily/Jinx, Elvis, Nagia
4. Steady DPS: Quinnie, Jinx, Amazon, Cynthia, Nagia

Things to Note:
Disadvantages of INT-based
The lack of steady damage can be frustrating. If one of the BGs gets interrupted or
stunned at a critical time (either during ult or during a powerful green/blue skill), then
youll have to wait a long time before that BG can strike again.
INT-based BGs are heavily reliant on MP. One of the ways that BGs can earn MP is
through the kill bonus. However, against a single boss, there are no other enemies to
pick up those bonuses from. Consequently, it takes a while for these BGs to charge up
their ults.
Annie in particular is greatly affected by this as her skillset revolves primarily on
picking off weak BGs and recharging her MP at a rapid rate.
Advantage of INT-based
INT-based lineups have the potential for the greatest sustain with Nurse, Geisha, and
Scythe all available. Moreover, while they do take time, INT-based attacks do massive
damage and make up quite a bit for the lack of consistent damage. Hence, we call them
nukers.
Certain BGs have ways of getting around the weaknesses inherent to INT BGs.
Amazon
Amazon has solid physical attack/attack speed for an INT-based BG.
Moreover, her skills launch multiple attacks, with each attack charging her
MP.
Jinx
Jinx has an attack speed steroid and charges her MP at a faster rate.
Lavia
Lavia has a MP-charge steroid, which similarly charges her ult faster.
Lily
Lily has a team-wide MP-charge steroid.
Quinnie
Quinnie has DOT (which have high base damage), an attack speed
steroid, and very fast ult, all of which make her a solid DPS option
That being said, raising Quinnie for the sole purpose of Trial Lavia
would be pretty stupid
Angel
She can directly recharge another BGs MP a certain amount with one of
her skills

AGI-based
Armor Reducing:
Front: N/A
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie, Maidam

AGI-DPS:
Front: Boxer, Bidenty
Middle: Celeste, Gambler
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria

Support
Front: N/A
Middle: Celeste (attack speed)
Rear: Tennese (attack speed, AGI, physical attack)

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Standard DPS: Boxer/Celeste/Bidenty, Gambler, Pandaria, Wild Girl/Caitlyn, Hottie
2. Speed-based Burst DPS: Boxer/Bidenty, Celeste/Tennese, Gambler, Pandaria, Hottie

Things to Note:
Disadvantages of AGI-based
Lack of sustain - Most AGI-based BGs do have life-steal, but theyre still quite squishy
nonetheless. Once Boxer, Celeste, or Bidenty go down, the entire team will fall apart
shortly after.
Advantage of AGI-based
Steady damage AND burst damage - AGI-based BGs have fantastic all around damage,
which is made even better with Hotties armor reduction.
So, why are Wild Girl & Caitlyn not as recommended against Lavia?
Its important to note that they still do quite a bit of damage so feel free to use them. But
their DPS is still low enough that they can be replaced with Pandaria, Tennese, and/or
Celeste.
Lavia cycles through her attacks incredibly quickly. She has a AOE stun (which can hit
the back line) AND a team-wide attack that she launches 4 times in a row.
Caitlyn is unable to build enough speed with her purple skill
Wild Girl is either interrupted during her ult, which halts the healing and possibly
even her damage buff, or shes interrupted during her relatively slow basic
attacks.

Trial Pandaria

Pandaria is fairly simple to deal with. The only quirk in this battle is that she freezes the
front-line.

Useful BGs to Invest in:

Armor Reducing:
Front: Rosie, Dracula, Zombia, Sisha, Leona
Middle: N/A
Rear: Hottie

AGI-DPS:
Front: Boxer, Bidenty
Middle: Celeste, Gambler
Rear: Hottie, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Pandaria

Support
Front: Wildtress (shielding), Ninja (damage reduction), Sisha (damage return)
Middle: Celeste (attack speed)
Rear: Tennese (attack speed, AGI, physical attack)

Recommended Team Composition (in no particular order):

1. Defensive DPS: Wildtress/Ninja/Sisha, Gambler, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Hottie
2. Armor Reduction DPS: Dracula/Rosie, Gambler, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Hottie
3. Burst DPS: Boxer/Bidenty, Gambler, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Hottie
4. Speed-based DPS: [Tank], Celeste/Tennese, Wild Girl, Caitlyn, Hottie

Things to Note:
Tank Choices
1. As Im sure you have noticed, the goal of Trial Pandaria is to pick a tank that can stay
alive while your DPS options unload their attacks.
a. Either Wildtress or Ninja is probably the best suited for this task
2. However, you also want to pick a tank that can contribute in some way other than be a
punching bag.
a. Boxer, Bidenty, and Sisha can all unload quite a bit of damage even if they do
spend half the time frozen
i. Bidenty has massive life-steal and has a fair chance of surviving until the
end
b. Dracula and Rosie reduce Trial Pandarias armor at least once, giving you an
extra edge in boosting your damage.
i. Dracula has a bit of sustain so she can usually survive until the end
Conclusion

I hope that this guide was helpful. Remember, this is guide for basic team building. As you play
this game more, youll find that there are many more combinations of BGs that were not
mentioned here for all the different game modes.

If you have any further questions, you can PM me or post on reddit where Ill try to respond.
