God called home Gearldine
Lizzie Sutterfield of Las
Vegas, NV (Formerly of Palo
Verde, CA) to be with her
husband Lloyd Ray
Sutterfield. Gearldine died
peacefully surrounded by her
loving family.
Funeral services will be held
at a date to be determined in
Yuma, AZ.; where she will be
reunited with Lloyd at Desert
Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 S.
1st Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364.
In remembrance, we know

your family. Having a loving family was the greatest of
all things to her.
Gearldine was born in March 1923, Jay, Oklahoma; to
Lloyd Faust Kissire (Deceased) and Ruthana Hickman
(Deceased). She had a half-sister, Betty Joe Kissire
(Deceased) from the marriage of Lloyd and Dicey May
Kissire (Deceased). Gearldine married Lloyd Ray
Sutterfield on August 30, 1939 and remained married for
almost Fifty years till Lloyds death in February 1989.
Gearldine was a multi-talented lady who could do
anything and was involved heavily in the Palo Verde
Southern Baptist Church as a Youth Leader/Sunday
School Teacher while serving as Secretary and
Treasurer over the life of the church for 52 years. She
