Thismaybenecessarywhensmalldiscontinuitiesaredetectedwithregardstothe
spinetangencyorthereferenceguidecurves'normal.Thesmoothingisdoneforany
discontinuitywhichangulardeviationissmallerthan0.5degree,andthereforehelps
generatingbetterqualityfortheresultingmultisectionssolid.
Deviation:smoothestheloftingmotionbydeviatingfromtheguidecurves.
IfyouareusingbothAngularCorrectionandDeviationparameters,itisnotguaranteedthat
thespineplanebekeptwithinthegiventolerancearea.Thespinemayfirstbeapproximated
withinthisdeviationtolerance,theneachmovingplanemayrotatewithintheangular
correctiontolerance.

Spine
IntheSpinetabpage,youcanselecttheSpinecheckboxtouseaspinethatisautomatically
computedorselectacurvetoimposethatcurveasthespine.
Notethat:

Itisstronglyrecommendedthatthespinecurvebenormaltoeachsectionplaneand
mustbecontinuousintangency.Otherwise,itmayleadtoanunpredictableshape.
Iftheplanenormaltothespineintersectsoneoftheguidecurvesatdifferentpoints,
itisadvisedtousetheclosestpointtothespinepointforcoupling.
Ifthespineisautomaticallycomputedspineandoneortwoguidecurvesareselected:
themultisectionssolidislimitedbytheguideextremities.Iftherearemorethantwo
guidecurves,thespinestopsatapointcorrespondingtothebarycenteroftheguide
extremities.Inanycasethetangenttothespineextremityisthemeantangenttothe
guideextremities.
