JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT

OF FIONA GAIL H. CHU

I, FIONA GAIL H. CHU, 33 years old, single , residing at

Sunflower Street, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo , after having been sworn to in
accordance with the law do hereby depose and state:

That Atty. IZABELLA CALZADO is the counsel who conducted

and supervised my examination as a witness at her office at Third
Floor, Snow Bear Building, Gen, Luna Street, Iloilo City;

That I am answering the questions herein fully conscious that I

do so under oath and that I may be criminally liable for false
testimony or perjury;

The following are the Questions propounded by Atty. Izabella

Calzado and my answers in English language:

Question 1: Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?

Answer 1: Yes Maam.

Question 2: Are you the same FIONA GAIL H. CHU, the private
complainent in this case for Grave Threats now pending before the
Municipal Trial Court, Branch 38 of Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo?

Answer 2: Yes, Maam.

Question 3: Do you personally know the accused in this case, Mrs.
Marianne Dantes?

Answer 3: Yes, Maam.

Question 4: Can you tell us why you personally know Mrs. Marianne
Dantes?

Answer 4: She lives in #7 Sunflower Street, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.

She is our neighbor and their house is just beside our house.

Question 5: Where were you on December 20, 2014 at about 8

oclock in the morning?

Answer 5: I was walking home at that time after I went to the towns
wet market to buy a weeks groceries.

Question 6: Who was with you during that time?

Answer: I was with my 7 year old daughter, Bubbles Chu.

Question 7: What transpired during that time?

Answer 7: I was walking with my daughter, Bubbles Chu. When we

reached the driveway of Marianne Dantess house, Marianne who
was looking very angry came out and told me in Visayan words to
quote, Sunugon ko na ang balay nyo asta ma pudpud sa abo!
unquote.

Question 8: What did you do then, when she said those words?

Answer 8: I could not do anything Maam. I held my daughters hand

tight because of fear and because she is known to have a very
unpleasant behavior. And ran towards our house, shutting the gate
quickly.

Question 9: Why do you say that she was angry during that time?

Answer 9: Because when she got out of their house, she was
swearing and she seemed to be pissed off of something inside their
house.

Question 10: Was Marianne Dantes drunk at that time?

Answer 10: No Maam. He didnt smell or look like he was drunk.

Question 11: Why do you say unpleasant behavior?

Answer 11: Because whenever my friends and I or my family and I

are joking and laughing, she just suddenly interrupts shouting at us
and telling us to shut our mouths. She then threatens us that if we
are talking about him, we surely would get a prize from him.

Question 12: What prize would this be?

Answer 12: Maybe shed throw stones at us or punch or slap us.

Question 13: Aside from the incident that happened last December
20, 2014, was there any other incident or threats that occured?

Answer 13: Yes Maam.

Question 14: What transpired during that time?

Answer 14: It was December 23, 2014. I had visitors from Luzon who
are composed of my relatives from my mothers side. We were
having merienda at the side porch, talking and laughing while
remembering our younger years whe new suddenly started to smell
smoke and a dark cloud of smoke and fire started to fill the porch. My
husband and my cousins immediately threw pail after pail of water to
stop the fire.

Question 15: Where did the smoke came from?

Answer 15: It came from the left lawn of Marianne Dantes. She was
burning some dried leaves and a few trash.

Question 16: How did the smoke reach your lawn?

Question 16: After she started to light up the pile of leaves, she left
and went to the Vonnels Sari-sari store at the corner, leaving the
burning trash unattended.

Question 17: Do you think she intended to leave it unattanded or it

was merely by mistake?

Answer 17: I think she left it intentionally because the owner of the
sari-sari store, in the evening, told us that when Marianne Dantes
reached her store, she started telling the owner that it her neighbor
was loud and she did something to stop the noise.

Question 18: Do you have any proof of all your allegations?

Answer 18: Yes, I have my witness Maam, the store owner, Karylle
Yuzon and her sister Anne Cortiz who were at the store when
Marianne Dantes went there.

Question 19: Do you have anything else to say, Mrs. Chu?

Answer 19: No more, Maam.
