AT: Speed K

2AC
1. It is the burden of the negative or judge to inform us before the 1AC of any
reason we would have to preform differently during the debate spreading
is an established norm in the community
2. Spreading is a form of performance/expression for us. By controlling the
preformative aspect of debate you limit our expression and recreate existing
social oppression in the debate space.
3. No Spillover this isnt finals at the NDT no reason why this round is
uniquely key to changing the community.
4. No reason to vote neg all of their solvency is based upon out-round
education double-bind: either they create enough education to solve their
impacts, no reason to prefer neg because the K has been solved, or they
dont educate the round enough to solve their impacts.
5. No Bright line- Theres no way to know how fast is too fast this creates two
impacts 1. It creates a moving target for the aff, we could slow down the rest
of our speeches and it still would not be enough 2. The alt empirically fails if
the neg cant provide an exact WPM bright line and how to necessitate that
in round then we cant begin to solve this issue in debate
6. Their use of violence narratives to win the round commodifies
7. And People losing rounds to the very rare spreading K will not actualize any
change in the debate space, teams will continue to spread no matter what,
its became a cultural norm within debate

K Theory:

A. Our interpretation is that judge should only evaluate arguments based off the
action of the plan text.
B. Standards
1. Regressive Frameworks based off theoretical arguments never function
in practice
2. Reciprocity Aff choses plan text the neg must link to it
3. Revolutionary politics The alt exists in the realm of amorphous
abstractions and fails to produce analysis of actual steps to the revolution.
Independent voter because they replicate existing social oppression and fail
to solve the impacts of the K. Affects solvency 1. People dont know what
the alt is and cling to existing super-structures. 2. K takes us further from
the movement by not articulating actual steps.
4. Moving target Neg becomes a moving target that can explain action of
alt to shift and spike out of AFF offense
5. Weigh the case necessary for AFF to be stasis point for debate and for us
to weigh the case

C. Vote Aff
Clash Specific links are key to the intersection of competing literature
bases the neg undermines clash, and if clash is good, more is better

The Role of the Ballot is to vote for the team that either best affirms or negates the
resolution ensures the debate is on a common ground of contestation, key to
clash.
