PRESENT TECHNOLOGY

Samsung WW80H290EW Front Load Washer with Eco Bubble, 8kg saves huge amount of
energy by washing large loads at low temperature using its Eco Bubbles technology. Before the
normal cycle begins, the unique bubble generator starts working. It uses air and water to generate
bubbles that dissolves and active detergent, so it quickly penetrates every fiber of fabric and
removes dirt and stains easily which washing just as effectively in cool water (15C) as in warm
with Super Eco Wash course. With the frictional force of the washing stage, various stains are
removed effectively.

1. WORKING PRINCIPLES

Fully automatic machines change from one cycle to another, taking the clothes right through
from start to finish without any additional input from you. The working of the washing machine
is quite high tech, and includes a set sequence of washing, rinsing, and spinning (plus a pre-wash
if desired). During the wash cycle, the machine releases the detergent and fills the drum with
water while moving the clothes around to make sure each item is thoroughly cleaned. This soapy
water is then drained, and clean water is added for the rinse cycle, which removes the remaining
soap. The water is drained once more and the machine spins quickly which removes around 80
percent of the excess water in the clothing. Each cycle clicks over to the next automatically,
making the fully automatic washing machine one of the most advanced washing machines on the
market.

Front loading washing machines work through a constant rotation of the drum during the
wash, rinse, and spin cycles. The vigorous spinning of the drum not only tosses clothes around in
the soapy water, but also makes sure the water is distributed evenly throughout the load. The
machine drains automatically to allow the door to be opened without the risk of flooding, which
means the filter needs to be cleaned regularly to ensure these drains do not become blocked with
lint. Front-loaders control water usage through the surface tension of water, and the capillary
wicking action this creates in the fabric weave. A front-loader washer always fills to the same
low water level, but a large pile of dry clothing standing in water will soak up the moisture,
causing the water level to drop. The washer then refills to maintain the original water level.
Because it takes time for this water absorption to occur with a motionless pile of fabric, nearly all
front-loaders begin the washing process by slowly tumbling the clothing under the stream of
water entering and filling the drum, to rapidly saturate the clothes with water.

2. FUNCTIONS OF COMPONENTS

Inverter - Inverter technology makes the machine run at a speed which is optimum based on the
load on the machine and has sensors that detect the loading of the washing machine. Pressure
Sensor - small device with several wires on it called a pressure switch. This part should be at the
top of the machine under the lid. The pressure switch featured here is an old type, modern ones
are much smaller. When sufficient air pressure is reached, the pressure switch will switch on
telling the washing machine to stop filling and start washing. Dispenser - On a front-loading
machine, your detergent dispenser will usually be a pull out drawer, or (usually with a top-
loading machine) it may be a part of the agitator. This drawer is pretty straightforward its
where you put your liquid or powdered detergent, whichever you choose to use, and your fabric
softener. Valve when the clothes is loaded in washing machine, this valve is opened
automatically and it closes automatically depending on total quantity water required where it is
solenoid valve. Filter to trap stain and dirt from the clothes so that the dirt will not enter the
washing machine Main Control is functioning to optimize and control the washing process.
Door lock used bimetal device which when the door is locked, it cannot be opened when the
machine is operating. Motor is coupled with disc and produce rotating motion and this is known
as multispeed motor where speed can be changed per requirement. In fully automatic, speed of
motor change automatically per load on washing machine. Heater allow washer to do profile
wash. Soaking is very effective and economical with heater. It also can eliminate heat loss in hot
water pipe to heater and reduce heater burden. Pump helps to circulate water through the
washing machine. It works in two directions, recirculating water during wash cycle and draining
water during spin cycle
