The Washing Machine

Washing clothes in the past was very difficult. People washed their dirty clothes once
or twice a week in the river by using sand , rocks and water to clean them.For many
years people tried to find an easier way to wash their clothes. In 1908 the first
electric washing machine was invented. It was very useful and made washing clothes

very easy. Today , all the hard work is done for us while we can sit and relax. :)

My dad took me to visit Mr. Donatello, a famous glass blower. He lived in a small house
in the country. Next to the house was his workshop. Thats where he blew glass. There
were glass objects every where: glasses , vases , and bowls. I moved slowly in the
workshop I was afraid I might fall and break something.

My tasty salad

I make a tasty salad. To make this salad I need to buy half kilogram of carrots,
quarter kilogram of tomatoes, half kilogram cucumbers, onions and lemon. First I cut
all the vegetables. I put the vegetables in a bowel. I put some salt and lemon juice on
them. Finally I mix the vegetables and eat it.
