CATATAN KHUSUS
1. Bila engine diputar terasa berat, stop jangan diteruskan dan cari penyebabnya
If the engine can not turn smoothly, stop and find the root cause
3. Lock nut di torque dan diberi tanda (dengan metal marker)
Tighten the lock nut and put mark by using metal marker
4. Pada saat performance test engine yakinkan bahwa semua cylinder bekerja dengan baik
dan tanpa noise
At the engine performance test, ensure the all cylinder works are working and there is no tappet
noise

Torque for injector lock nut 100 10 Nm (74 7 lb ft)

Torque for valve lock nut 30 7 Nm (22 5 lb ft)

1/ Kondisikan cylinder nomor 1 pada Top Centre (TC) Compression Stroke

Mengacu pada bagian Testing and Adjusting di service manual dengan topik
Finding Centre Position for Number 1 Piston dan pasang timing bolt.
Place the engine at number 1 cylinder Top Centre (TC) compression stroke.
Refer to the Testing and Adjusting Section of the service manual. Subject
Finding centre position for Number 1 piston and install timing bolt.

2/ Yakinkan engine pada keadaan compression stroke. kedua inlet dan exhaust valve
cylinder nomor 1 akan longgar pada keadaan ini
Ensure the engine is on the compression stroke.(both) inlet and exhaust valves on
number one cylinder will have valve clearance at this time.

3/ Selesaikan pengaturan valve dan injector pada stroke ini. Mengacu pada chart A
Complete valve and injector adjustment for this stroke. Refer to chart A

4/ Buka timing pin dan putar engine 360o. Sekarang engine pada keadaan dimana
cylinder nomor 1 Top Centre (TC) Exhaust Stroke. (kedua) inlet dan exhaust
valve akan mendaptkan spring tension (tidak longgar). Pasang kembali timing pin.
Remove timing pin and rotate the engine 360 degrees. The engine will now be on
number 1 cylinder Top Centre (TC) Exhaust stroke. (both inlet and exhaust
valves will have spring tension on them (no valve clearance) Reinstall the timing
pin

5/ Complete valve and injector adjustment for this stroke. Refer to chart A

6/ Buka timing pin dan putar engine dua kali untuk meyakinkan tidak ada valve yang
kontak dengan piston
Remove the timing pin and rotate the engine twice ensuring the is no valve to
piston contact

7/ Pasang timing pin plug, cover truning tool dan cover rocker
Install the timing pin plug, turning tool cover and rocker covers
