1. The NHPC Ltd., a Govt. of India Enterprise, with an authorized share capital
of Rs. 15,000 crore is engaged in the planning, investigation design,
construction, operation and maintenance of hydroelectric, projects.

2. NHPC Ltd. wishes to provide opportunities to the experience and resourceful

contractors for the execution of civil works.

3. For this purpose applications are invited from the Contractors having
requisite experience, for registration in various categories of works as
mentioned below provided they fulfil requisite qualification/ experience.

4. Contractors are required to apply on the following address an application on

plain paper along with a non-refundable application fee of

i) Rs.2000/- for contractors seeking registration for class B

ii) Rs.2000/- for contractors seeking registration for class C
iii) Rs.1000/- for contractors seeking registration for Class D
iv) Rs.1000/- for contractors seeking registration for Class E

Submitted in the shape of crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of NHPC LTD.
payable at SBI,NHPC Project, Gerukamukh (Branch Code-04318) on
receipt of applications duly accompanied with requisite non-refundable fee,
a questionnaire will be issued to the applicants and the same should be
returned back to this office duly filled in by 31st January 2013 on 04:00 PM

5. One contractor can get enlistment in more than one category of works
provided he has the requisite experience of work of those categories. No
additional feeshall be charged from the Contractor applying for more than
one category of works under a particular class.

6. NHPC reserves to itself the right and discretion of registering any Contractor
with such conditions as it may prescribe. NHPC will not be bound to give any
reason of acceptance or rejection of any applicant thereof.

7. The Categories of works for which registration is required as are as under :-

Buildings
Water Supply, sewerage and drainage works.
Roads.
Bridges.
Channels, cross-drainage and connected works.

8. NHPC also reserves the right to repeat this press notice as and when
desired by it.

Class Qualified to tender Should have successfully executed

for works estimated works in last 5 years amounting to:
to cost: to:
ClassB Above Rs. 2 Crs. But not
Aggregate of Rs. 10 Crs. in one
exceeding Rs. 10Crs. year and at least one individual
contract of Rs. 4 Crs.
ClassC Above Rs. 20 lacs but Aggregate of Rs. 2 Crs. in one year
not exceeding Rs. 2Crs. and alteast one individual contract of
Rs. 40 lacs.
ClassD Above Rs. 5lacs but not Aggregate of Rs. 20 lacs in one year
exceeding Rs. 20 lacs and atleast one individual contract of
Rs. 10 lacs.
ClassE Upto Rs. 5 lacs lacs Aggregate of Rs. 10 lacs in one
year and at least one individual
contract of Rs 1 lac.

10. If any contractor applying for a particular class is not found suitable for that
class then the Corporation, on its discretion, may consider him for next lower
class provided he is found suitable for next lower class.
