The teacher will help them to do the exercise, reading aloud and explaining the meaning.
Objectives:
Working on reading skills: connecting ideas using pictures.

students an opportunity to learn object/word definitions, but it also challenges them logically.
By using such techniques as inversion, diversion, students can greatly increase the
probability of answering questions correctly. This is an important skill to have, as it is

1st part:
Looking at pictures that are related to the book before reading it.
Saying which elements can they see, which are the characters and what can happen to them.
2nd part:
Reading the book aloud: showing the pictures in every page, asking what might happen next,
elements that catch their attention, etc.
3rd part:
Confirming or adjusting the previous predictions.
Objectives:
Working on reading skills: inference and predicting, using pictures and previous knowledge.
To stimulate childs imagination by hearing stories and looking at lively, colorful illustrations.

Activity:
1st part
The teacher will explain the activity: Making a story map.
She will put the pictures and the sentences on the whiteboard.
2nd part:
Students will have a time to look at the pictures and read the sentences.
One by one, with the teachers help, the girls will complete the story map.
3rd part:
The teacher and the students will recap the story using the story map.
As a close: they will think a proper title for the story.

Objectives:
To identify the setting, characters, the problem and the solution in a story.
To understand the story sequence of beginning, middle and end.

Lesson Plan 4
Activity:
1st part: (5-10 min)

The teacher will show the cover of the Clap your hands book and ask them what they think
is going to be about.
Then, she will read it and act it out together with the girls.
2nd part: (15 min)

The teacher will stick some of the pages of the book and, separately, the sentences that
correspond to them.
The students will have a time to look at some of the pictures and read the sentences.
One by one, with the teachers help, the girls are expected to match the pictures with the
sentences.
3rd part: (10 min)

As a close, they must draw their favourite part of the book and write a short line about it.

Objectives:

To provide students with a fun, engaging way to learn.


To identify the picture and the correspondent sentence that is describing it.
To understand meaning through a non-linguistic response to the text: Matching, using
illustrations and the information in the text.
