EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT

The National Police Commission announces the conduct of the 11th POLICE EXECUTIVE
SERVICE ELIGIBILITY (PESE) EXAMINATION for all qualified uniformed members of the
PNP with the ranks of Police Chief lnspector and above with permanent status of appointment.

. The PESE Exam has two (2) phases - PHASE I is the WRITTEN EXAMINATION to ne
conducted on AUGUST 13, 2017 in Metro Manila (NCR), Cebu City and Davao City. PHASE ll is
the VALIDATION INTERVIEW for those who passed the Written Examination, the schedute of
which shall be announced after the release of the results of the Written Examination.

Successful examinees in the Validation lnterview shall be conferred 'the Police Executive
. Service Eligibility (PESE), the eligibility requirement
for promotion to the third level ranks of police
Senior Superintendent, Chief Superintendent, Police Director, Police Deputy Director General and
Police Director General.

V. WHERE TO GET APPLICATION FORMS

Application Form (Written Examination Form 1) and lndex Card can be obtained for
FREE at the NAPOLCOM Central Office located at DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, EDSA corner
Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City, or at any NAPOLCOM Regional Office
nationwide. These may be REPRODUCED using the original copy and size of the application
form and index card. Also, application forms may be downloaded from the NAPOLCOM
website : www. napolcom, gov, ph

VI. WHERE TO FILE

An applicant must file his/her application form in any of the eighteen (18) NAPOLCOM
Regional Offices indicating his/her choice of examination center, i.e., Metro Manila (NCR),
Cebu City (Visayas) or Davao City (Mindanao).

VII. WHAT TO FILE

An applicant must PERSONALLY, COMPLETELY and CORRECTLY fiil out the


. Application Form and lndex Card and submit the following required documents to avoid delay
in the release of his/her test result.

1. Properly accomplished Examination Application form (Written Examination Form 1)


and lndex Card;

2. Examination fee of P700.00;

One (1) piece latest l.D. photo (1 x size) and two (2) latest identical l,D. photos
(passport size), with full name tag that includes the First Name, Middle lnitial and
Surname, taken within three (3) months before the date of filing of the application.
Pictures that are scanned, photo copied or computer enhanced are not accepted;

4, Two (2) legal size window envelopes with Twenty pesos (F20.00) worth of Mailinq
Stamp AFFIXED on each; and

5. Copy of attested appointment (KSS Porma Blg. 33).

VIII. HOW TO FILE

Applications may be filed together with all the required supporting documents,
personally or by mail, at any of the 'lB NAPOLCOM Regional Offices on or before the
deadline for filins. AN APPLICANT MUST FILE oNLY ONE (1) APPLICATION FORM,

IX. NOTIFICATION OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION

A qualified applicant will be notified through a Notice of Admission. ln case an


applicant fails to receive such notice within five (5) days before the date of examination, he/she
may verify the status of his/her application at the NAPOLCOM Office where his/her application
was filed or at the NAPOLCOM Central Office with telephone nos. (02) 89g0085 and
(02) 4032588.

X. DRESS CODE

During the examination day, applicants MUST observe pROpER DRESS coDE.
Male - Polo barong
Female - Corporate attire

XI. WHAT TO BRING DURING THE EXAMINATION

Examinees will bring the following:


1. Notice of Admission
2. Valid ldentification (lD) card with picture
3. Lead Pencil No. 2
4. Black or Blue ball pen
5.. One (1) passport size photograph

VIOLATION OF THIS RULE SHALL AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFY AN EXAMINEE FROM TAKING THE
EXAMINATION AND SHALL RESULT IN THE NULLIFICATION OF HIS/HER EXAMINATION

XII. NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS OF PHASE I . WRITTEN EXAMINATION:

Examinees shall be notified of the result of Phase I Written Examination by mail.
However, personal verification shall also be entertained. Examinees who successfully pass
-
Phase I shall be qualified to undergo PHASE ll Validation lnterview. The date, time and
place of interview shall be announced later.

. IMPORTANT REMINDERS .
The examination resplts of examinees involved in acts of cheating such as, but not
limited to the following, shall be invalidated:
a. lmpersonation;
b. Use of codigo or crib sheets;
c. Tampering with exam records;
d. Collusion of whatever nature between examinees and examination personnet;
e. Examination number switching;
f' Such other acts of similar nature that facilitate the passing of examination; and
g Results declared by the Commission, thru Examination Division, pAS, as
statistically im probable.

The aforesaid examinees shall be permanently barred from taking the NApOLCOM
Examinations.

ln the event that these anomalous acts were committed by a police officer, he/she
s_hallbe charged with dishonesty, and if found guilty, be meted the penalty of
dismissal from the seruice.
Police service eligibility obtained through anomalous practices shall be nullified.

' XIII. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

. IMPORTANT o

All examinees, whether passed or failed, shall be notified of the final result of the
examination,

Those who successfully pass both the written examination and the validation interview
shall be conferred the Police Executive Service Eligibility by the Commission in an
appropriateceremony, .

NOTE: Applicable fees may be collected from those who will be qualified to proceed to the
Validation lnterview phase and also from those who will pass the Validation lnterview
for the Conferment Rites.
