Forty-seven graduates of New Hampshire public high schools were recently
honored with New Hampshire Red Sox Service scholarships on the field at
Fenway in partnership with the Ford Fund and New England Ford Dealers.
Among the scholarship recipients is Hudsons Lauren Ferentino, a graduate of
Alvirne High School and student at River University.
Students were presented with their scholarships at a home game at Fenway
Park against the Cleveland Indians. As a sponsor of the program, the Ford
Motor Company Funds David Abatsis was on the field to help present the
students with their awards. Also in attendance was New Hampshire Governor
Chris Sununu who congratulated the students for their hard work.

When you heard Pancakes and

Maybe your mind jumped to breakfast
before Old Home Days and, at $6
with children under 5 free, what a
great deal. For 30 years, the Hudson
Litchfield Rotary has hosted this event
with several twists and turns. At two
pancakes per paid customer, that
means about 18,000 flapjacks have
been prepared, and then add another
few thousand for all those little ones
under 5 who arrived with parents and
