Last year a total of 8,490 pupils / students were registered. We served a total of 57 claims with a total amount of Php 256,743.68 as their claim benefits. The membership package includes Accidents, Dengue, Insect and Animal Bites. This coverage makes us better from what other insurance companies are offering. Aside from the benefits, our objectives are to encourage the entire population of the Philippines supported by the Legal Authority Proclamation No. 12, SEC. 6 Membership - authorizing the nationwide membership and fund campaign of the Philippine Red Cross for the year 1986 and every year thereafter. One of which is becoming a Red Cross member regardless of citizenship, status, gender, and political affiliation, to instill the value andsharing for the benefit of the most vulnerable and lastly to generate funds to sustain the humanitarian efforts of the Philippine Red Cross. dere In line of the above, we would like to appeal from your good office regarding the following matters: + Continuous partnership of the Philippine Red Cross with your area of jurisdiction and encourages pupils / students / youth to become members of the PRC by availing the Classic membership insurance which costs Php 60.00 effective for one year from the date of registration. ‘The sharing scheme of the cost is as follows: Php 55.00 - insurance Premium/Chapter Share (for remittance to Red Cross) Php 5.00 — School Share + The collection of (Php 5.00) five pesos Voluntary Contribution / Sustaining Fee for the Red Cross is still encouraged especially for those pupils/ students who will not avail the Membership Insurance Packages. The list of these pupils/students shall likewise be submitted upon remittance of contributions. zRed Cross Membership ID Cards and Master List will be given to each school with insured pupils/students. To ensure correct ID card distribution and to further avoid discrepancy/difficulty in future claims; kindly refer to the list for appropriate ID card # of each pupil/student.
