TAMIL NADU ACT NO. 43 OF 1979.*
THE PRESIDENCY SMALL CAUSE COURTS, CODE
OF CIVIL PROCEDURE AND TAMIL NADU
COURT-FEES AND SUITS VALUATION (AMEND-
MENT) ACT, 1979.
[Received the assent of the President on the 11th July 1979,
jirst published in the Tamil Nadu Govel nment Gazette
Extraordinary on the 18th July 1979 (Adi 2, Chitharthi
(2010-Tiruvalluvar Andu)).]
An Act further to amend the Presidency Small Cause
Courts Act, 1882, the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
and the Tamil Nadu Court-fees and Suits Valuation Act,
1955.
BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Tamil
Nadu in the Thirtieth Year of the Republic of India as
follows :-
1. (1) ~ h i sAct may be called the Presidency Small Short title,
Cause Courts, Code of Civil Procedure and Tamil Nadu extent and
Court-fees and Suits Valuation (Amendment) Act, 1979. comenoemeat*
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil
Nadu.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State
Government may, by notification, appoint.

Valuation Act, 1955 shall apply to proceedings in the
