COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. To learn and understand the fundamental concept of survey.

2. To determine the various angular measurements.
3. To analyze the mechanism involved in surveying.
4. To understand the concept of surveying and to use in the field observation
and Calculations.

COURSE OUTCOMES:

After Successful Completion of this course students will be able to

1. Understand the fundamental concepts of surveying.

1. 2. Determine the various methods of surveying.
3. Analyze the angular measurements.
4. Analyze the various types of curves and to apply in highway design.
5. Understand the methods and to apply in real field.
2.

Scheme of Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) :

CIE consists of three tests each for a maximum of 50 marks. The performance of
two best out of three tests is considered and scaled for a maximum of 30 marks

Scheme of Semester End Examination (SEE) :

The question paper consists of 8 questions, four in Part A and four in Part B,
each for a maximum of 14 marks with two or three subdivisions under each
question. The students are required to answer any five questions selecting at
least two from each part for a total maximum of 70 marks.
