Hans : Hello
Jaime : Welcome eminem i have a couple of questions are you ready to
answer them?
Hans : Of course
Jaime : First question what is your real name ?
Hans : My name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III
Jaime : can I call you Marshall?
Hans : Of corse
Jaime :ok , next question .Why did you choose to become a rapper ?
Hans : because I think rap is a style of music taht you can express your feeling
better than other music styles , also becuase it is the most listened music in
my neighborhood .
Jaime : Tell me about you family
Hans : Fisrt when I was 6 months old my father leaves my family, and until
today never had meet him
Jaime : oh sorry I lament that
Hans : dont worry I really dont care so only were my mom Deborah and
me, after my mom adopted a girl named Kim, and I fall in love with her, my
mom dont like it so she kicks Kim of the house but Kim and me left the house
together
Jaime : wow a very Hard decision
Hans : Yeah, after, in the 95 we had a baby Hailie, in the 99 I get married with
Kim, we still together for 1 year, but Kim fell into depression and she attempt
suicide
Jaime: God you had to be devastated
Hans : yes it was so hard especially for the baby, but a year after we we
divorced legaly
Jaime : What a pity, its amazing that you went ahead
Hans : Yeah, even I tried to kill myself because I never can managge my life
Finally kim was arrested for drug iusses
Jaime : How does it feel to be such an important icon in the music?
Hans: Is very difficult to describe, you have to be very careful with your lyrics
cause it can do a repercussion In the people like protest or suicide attemps
Jaime : yeah you have to choose correctly the lyrics if you didnt want any
claims
Hans : yes but I have songs who talk about depression and I never knew for
somebody who attempt suicide by my songs
Jaime : Im hopping no one will
Jaime : How was the succes of your first discs?
Hans: Fisrt I did the disc Backstabber, but realy it didnt have any success,
the second was infinity it was exactly the same, but one day a productor
call me, he was Dr. dree
Jaime : And your doors are going to be open
Hans : yes and after I start to work with Dr. dree all my discs were a succes
Jaime : Other question, Have you thougth retired?
Hans : I did it a lot of times but I start to think on my fans, and is like leave
thems, I cant process the idea about my life without music
Jaime : It have to be difficult
Hans : Is very difficult that I fell into depression a lot of times
