Notes The Principle
Many have placed the emphasis on the follow
up program to the neglect of the follow Me
program. Christ said, Follow Me, then fish for
men. The principle is clear.
Everything we do with and for

Notice the progression of Matthew 4:19. We
know that we are to be fishers of men, to be bringing
people to Christ. But how? The Lord said, I will
make you... But how does He make us fishers of
men? It all begins with, Follow me.
If we are not fishers of men, it is obvious that we
are not following Him. If we were following Him,
His passion would be our passion, and His purpose
would be our purpose. The progression is thisas we
follow Christ, He makes us fishers of men.
You can go after the lost without following
Christ, but you cannot truly follow Christ
without going after the lost.

sinned, and we are dead in our sins. We must have
a spiritual birth.
No matter what our background is or what has
happened in our lives, all of us have the same
problem. The problem is that we
are all sinners. We are born with
a sin nature.
In one sense,

Christ Offers Himself to All to Be

only if one hears it before he dies. This is the one
vital thing in life.
The most wonderful story anyone has ever
heard is the story of Calvary and

more than a Bible subject; it is a real place.
Hell is at the end of every Christless life.

soldier. The Lord Jesus has chosen you to be a
soldier. He is the One you are to please.
In the ministry and in Christian homes,
Christians have ceased to teach the next
generation what God has taught us in His Word.
We have left the instruction to people who do not
walk with God and who have found a wordly way
to try to do Gods work.
Fix your eyes back on the Lord and what He has
given you to do. You are to leave behind faithful
people who have been trained to teach others also.
This is the way Gods work is to be done.
The advance must continue.
Teach someone else the things
you have learned.
