A Project Proposal on

The Community Child Care Project at Ayax District.

Hargeisa, Maroodijeex Region Somaliland

Introduction
The community child care project is a project helping Ayax Village community in terms of health
and education needs, especially orphans children. So the major goal of this project is to help poor
children and orphans to get an opportunity to study. Some of children lose their parents during
civil wars, so the situation of those children is critical situation and they live in fear.

So during this project we shall focus on them to make their lives easy, also life better and
enjoyable. Because of our child is our resource in a future.

Problems statement
The main problems in a Ayax District are poor health, lack of education and training skills,
unemployment and low sanitation. Those factors collectively result in causes of child death and
orphans. So they need a help to access basic live things such as education, health, Vocational
Training Skills that can reduce unemployment and increases their income to help their children.

Project goal
Reducing unemployment rate, establishing vocational training centres and schools to increase
knowledge of children, to make their future bright future. Also to make a community health
center to improve childrens health and their nutrition.

Specific Objectives:

1. To build schools and vocational training centers.

2. To increase knowledge and skills of the target groups.
3. To increase awareness of supporting orphans and poor children
3. To build health center in Ayax district.
4. To support registered orphans and poor children those are already in school.
5. To ensure nutrition and health of children in schools.
Target Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries will be orphans those parents were died during civil wars and also poor
children those family have a low income.

Expected results:
In a general we expect around 10,000 beneficiaries from the proposed district will get help in a
side of education, health and sanitation.

In Specific

We expect around 4000 children will be attend the school, to get a good education.

We expect improving childrens health and their nutrition.

Main activities:

Building class rooms and health centers (to build schools and health centers as physical
locations)

Environmental Sanitation and management (awareness about hygiene and sanitation)

Vocational Training (Gives a VTC courses all parents in selected district to give them
skill that they make their income)

Checking childrens health (nutrition, malaria, TB, and other diseases)
