By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-
OBJECTIVE 1. Pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm
and intonation.
1. Teacher shows pictures of a place she visited during the holiday. Pupils
describe the picture and talk about how they spend their holiday.
2. Teacher introduces herself to the class. Teacher uses the sentence
pattern: My name is... I am from... I live in . I like
3. Pupils practice the sentence pattern by using the questions: What is

your name? Where are you from? Where do you live? and What is your
hobby? . Pupils practice the questioning and answering session with a
partner.
4. Pupils answer the questions in their exercise book.
5. Teacher wraps up the class with a song.
