Interrogative Pronouns

- often stands for something that we are not aware of yet, because we are asking
about it. We use these pronouns specifically to ask questions. These pronouns
are special because they all start with Wh except for one H, which makes
them easy to remember.

We have seven interrogative pronouns:

WHAT is asking for person, animals, or things in general.

Examples:
What is the name of our Dean?
What is our lesson for today?
Class, can you now give/state me a question that begins with the interrogative
pronoun What?
Very good!

WHICH is asking for a person, animals, or things in a limited number.

Examples:
Which of these two do you prefer?
Which one among this students is the best?

Class, can you give me some other examples besides from the ones that are
place on the board?
WHO is asking for a specific Name/Person.
Examples:
Who is that stunning lady I site from a distance?
Who is the owner of this institution?
Class. Who can now give another example using the interrogative pronoun
who?

WHERE is expecting an answer to be a place.

Examples:
Where are you going babe?
Where can I locate the geographical location of your house?
Now class, where are the students that can give me an example using the
interrogative pronoun Where?

WHEN is asking for dates/days or a certain life event.

Examples:
When was the last time youve said I love you to your dad before
he died?
When are we going to throw a party for my birthday?
Class, for those who didnt had that chance yet to give an example when are
you going too?

WHY is asking for a reason.
