MERCOSUL VISA GUIDE

The Mercosul residence agreement:

Procuring residence in this way means that a foreigner, in accordance with the
Mercosur Residence Agreement, will have equal civil rights throughout the
Brazilian territory in addition to having his labor and social security duties
guarded. This means that the South American foreigner stipulated by the
agreement may not only reside in Brazil, but may also work, transfer funds, and
receive the same treatment as a Brazilian national.

The residence is valid for a temporary period of 2 years and after that the
Mercosul national can apply for a permanent resident status in Brazil.

HOW TO APPLY:

Before starting, note that we have a lot of minor requirements to proceed.

Print this doc and use it as a check list!

Please follow all of the requirements carefully and let us know if you have any
doubt.

Modelo de declarao Mercosul (2 copies)

3. At the cartrio you will do two different services:

First one is to duly register your signature. You will look for a
service called signature registration, Abertura de firma in PT.

They will gather some personal data and your official signature
from your doc (passport or Cdula de identidade, ID).

Once done, you will take the doc Modelo de declarao mercosul
2 copies duly signed with your registered signature and ask for
a service called Signature recognition Reconhecimento de
firma in PT.

They will put a stamp on the documents saying that the signature
is yours and the docs were signed by you.

This should cost around R$20,00 reais.

The second service that you must do in Cartrio is to take a

notarized copy Cpia autenticada in PT, of your Cdula de
Ciudadana / ID.

3. Finally start your visa registration with the Federal Police

1. Go to the following webpage: https://servicos.dpf.gov.br/sincreWeb/ - Here you

are going to fill the registration form, follow the guide:

3. Your name: Write it down exactly the same as your Cdula de ciudadana.

4. Father name: Write it down exactly the same as your Partida de Nascimiento.

5. Mother name: Write it down exactly the same as your Partida de Nascimiento.

6. Gender: Your gender.

7. Birth date: Your birth date.

8. Civil Status: Your visa status

9. Country of birth: Your country of birth

10. City of birth: Your city of birth

11. Nationalitty country: The country of your currently Cdula de ciudadana.

12. Ocupation: Student (estudante)

13. CPF: If you have one, put it here.

PAY ATTENTION:

Sometimes the system makes an error inside and they change the city. If your form
was issued like this one above with the ADAMANTINA CITY something went wrong.
You need to do it again until you have So Paulo in the city. The error usually happens
when you mistake the captcha one time.

1. Save a PDF version of the form.

2. If you have a printer ready, you can print a copy of the form. If you dont, save
all the documents to print in one of the branches.

3. Save the Request number, its the number in the top of the form.

Once you issued the form, you need to schedule a date to present yourself at the
Federal Police. Please follow the steps:

1. Go to the following link: https://servicos.dpf.gov.br/sincreWeb/pesquisaAgendamento.jsp

2. Insert your request number and the captcha.

3. Choose the best time and date.

4. Print the receipt.

12. Proceed with the payment of the guias. You can pay it in any bank, post offices,
lotricas or internet bank. REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST PRESENT THE
RECEIPT WITH THE FEE AT THE FEDERAL POLICE, IF YOU PAY BY INTERNET
BANK YOU MUST PRINT THE RECEIPTS.

LAST STEP:

Gather all the documents that you need to present at the Federal Police and go to
your appointment:

Your Registration form.

Your booked receipt

Both fees with their receipts.

2 photos 3x4 cm, color with white background.

Your original Cdula de Ciudadana and its notarized copy.

Your entry card (You received it in the airport).

Your original Partida de Nascimento with the Haya legalization and a simple
copy of it.

Your antecedentes penales issued in your home country with the Haya
legalization.

Two original of the doc Modelo de declarao mercosul duly signed and
notarized.

Proof of residence 4YOU2 will provide the doc.

Brazilian Certificates 4YOU2 will provide the docs by e-mail.
