EligibilityProfilescanbeaddedtorestrictallocationoftheschedule.

AShiftdenotesaperiodoftimethataffectsaworker'savailability.Therearethreetypesofshift

Time
TimeShiftscanbefurthercategorizedwithaShiftDetailTypeofNone,PunchorFlexible.
WithPunchyouitemisethetimeperiodsinadaywhenaworkerisavailableorunavailableforwork.
Forexample,'In','Break','Meal','Transfer','Out'

WithFlexible,youcanchoosetoitemiseon'CoreWorkingHours','FlexibleShiftStartTime','Flexible
ShiftEndTime','FlexibleShiftStartMealTime'
WithNone,Youjustenterastarttimeandduration.

Duration
Durationshiftsdonothaveshiftdetails.Durationshiftsdefineatimeperiodasanumberofhoursfor
example.Itdoesnotspecifyaspecificstartorendtime.Workerscanbeavailable,ornotavailableduring
thistime.E.g.Workfor16hoursandofffor12hours.Durationshiftsdonotfollowa24hourperiod.
Elapsed
ElapsedshiftsdonothaveaspecificstartorendtimeratherWorkersneedtoworkaspecifiednumberofhoursinadaywhentheyareavailable.

Eachpatterncanonlycontainshiftsofthesametypeotherwisethepatternwillnotbevalid,andwillnotbe
selectablewhenDefiningtheWorkSchedule.e.g.Punchpatternscontainonlypunchshifts,flexpatterns
containonlyflexshifts,durationpatternscontainonlydurationshiftsandelapsedpatternscontainonly
elapsedshifts.

Apatternisdefinedforanumberofdays,afterwhichitisrepeatedwithinthedaterangeofaschedule.e.g.
a10daypatternrepeatsitselfafterevery10days.

thepattern.Forexample,youmightasintheexampleherecreateapatternMondaythruFriday,and
thenhavetwodaysoff.SothestartingdayoftheworkschedulemustbeaMonday.
