KASMIN KASIM. Social Solidarity Among SMA Teachers (Research of the
Case at SMA Yapis Biak-Papua). Solidarity is a sense together, unity interest, sympathy, as one of the member in the same level or to appredated the interest thing in the group. The purpose of the research to find out and explain the type of solidarity which dominant to have a big influence in teaching learning process. The research used mix methods of quantitative and qualitative methods. The technique of collecting data were interviewing, inquiry, observation, and documentation. The population of this research was the teacher who work in SMA Yapis, Samofa, District Samofa, Biak City-Papua. Registered in SMA Yapis were 34 peoples. 100% of respondents from population (census) were 34 peoples. To measure the solidarity which use 9 indicators were: Division of work, collective consciousness, dominant prisoner, individuality, interest consensus, penalization, interdependent, community, and binding agent. Based on the solidarity recapitulationof high school teacher at Yapis Biak indicadet in high presentation of collective consciousness 70,6%. The result of the research indicated the dominant solidarity in SMA Yapis Biak is mechanic solidaritywhich has 9 indicators, 5 indicators included in mechanic solidarity were: Dominant prisoner, individuality, interest consensus, penalizaton, and binding agent. Whereas for 4 indicators included in organic solidarity: Division of work, collective consciousness, interdependent, and community. The conclusion of type solidarity at SMA Yapis Biak was mechanic solidarity. Key word : Solidarity, research, high school.
