THE CORRELATION SEXUAL KNOWLEDGE WITH SEXUAL ATTITUDE

OF TEENAGER AT SMA NEGERI 1 SIMPANG EMPAT KABUPETEN
TANAH BUMBU IN 2012
There are many teenagers are not aware of that does not look pleasant
experience it can be misleading, one of the problem of the teenager if they lack of
knowledge of premarital sex is unwanted pregnancy, abortion not safe and
venereal disease. The Knowledge of premarital sexual able to influence individual
attitude in premarital sexual.
The aim of this study to find out the correlation between sexual knowledge
with sexual attitude of teenager at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupeten
Tanah Bumbu in 2012.
Design of study was analytical (survey) by using Cross Sectional approach.
Population is conducted all the students of grade XI at MA Negeri 1 Simpang
Empat Kabupeten Tanah Bumbu by total of sample was 33 responders who aged
14 to 16 years old with random sampling by grouping or cluster sampling. The
data collected was analyzed by using Chi Square Test through SPSS 16
program.
This study was conducted on July in 2012. Data of study was primer data that
collected by directly from responder through applying questionnaires. Result of
study indicated to 33 responders which sexual knowledge is a part of had enough
knowledgeable (64%), good knowledgeable (33%) and only less knowledgeable
(3%) and sexual attitude indicated a part of responders had negative attitude
(97%) and (3%) responders had positive attitude. The Result of Chi Square test
by SPSS 16 program found Value P=0,000. Then stated that there was correlation
between sexual knowledge with sexual attitude of teenager at SMA Negeri 1
Simpang Empat Kabupeten Tanah Bumbu in 2012.
Based on result of study, good of sexual knowledge of teenagers it will be
more negative attitudes. (tendency to avoid sexual premarital), while the
teenagers who less of sexual knowledge it will be tendency to positive attitudes
(tendency to approach sexual premarital).
