Maharaja Dilip Singh Judeo was the original Contender for the post of Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
Before that he was the Union Minister of State for Environment. He hails from the Royal family of
Jashpur. He is at present Rajkumar of Royal family of Jashpur. He is actually referred to as His
Highness Maharaja Dilip Singh Judeo. Being from a Royal family he lived in great luxery &
opulence. He is supposed to be a fun loving person & studied in Mayo College. Amongst Chhattisgarh
tribals he is considered to be a King & has strong feudal values. He is worshipped as a fatherly figure
especially be Oraons & Gond Tribes.
Maharaja Dilip Singh Judeo was set by Party High Command to prevent him from assuming office as
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister. This is because they wanted Raman Singh to become Chief Minister of
Chhattisgarh.
RSS liked Raman Singh because he was Secular, Flexible , Business Minded man and had no emotional
connection to Tribals of Bastar Region of Chhattisgarh, unlike Maharaja Dilip Singh Judeo.

Raman Singh as Chief Minister set up Salwa Judum

Chhattisgarh region of India is rich in minerals and a lot of foreign companies want to set shop in
Chhattisgarh, but there is a PROBLEM, there are Adivasi Tribals living inside dense forests of
Chhattisgarh. So acquiring land for mining purposes would be a problem because of court cases. So
Raman Singh as Chief Minister set up Non Government Militia Organization Salwa Judum, to kick
Adivasi Tribals out of mineral rich regions of Chhattisgarh forests.

Peoples Union For Civil Liberties (PUCL) prepared a report containing 2000 reported incidents, where
Salwa Judum routinely assaulted tribal villagers, raped tribal women and even evicted from their
homes. Eminent activists and lawyers have stated that security forces consisting of CRPF , COBRA
and BSF, accompanied by local police and Special Police Officers (SPOs) of Salwa Judum , conduct
combing operations twice a month, wherein homes are looted and villagers are assaulted, women are
raped , threatened, labelled as 'Naxalites', arrested, charged with serious offences and some of them
even killed.
Salwa Judum was created in order to clear forests of Tribals so as make way for Mining Companies.
Salwa Judum (which means purification hunt) was conceived in June 2005 by Raman Singh as Chief
Minister of Chattisgarh in alliance with Congress leader Mahendra Karma. Salwa Judum is a quasi non
governmental milia organization which received weapons & military support from both Central &
State governments.
Militia men belonging to Salwa Judum were heavily armed with AK 47s , M16s & RPG ( Rocket
Propelled Grenades ) and lives in heavily fortified Congress Headquarters in Ranchi. Senior Congress
leader Mahendra Karma is also the leader of Salwa Judum. He is especially close to Senior Congress
Leader V.C Shukla

Criminals of Salwa Judum are designated as Special Police Officers (SPOs) and given training by
Indian Military Officials but they dont exist on paper or government records. . In 2009, the operation
was even praised by then Union Home Minister P Chidambaram who was quoted as saying, The
special police officers (SPOs) have played a useful role and should be appointed wherever required.
Union Home Minister P Chidambaram recommended full military training to Special Police Officers.
Many people need to understand that Salwa Judum doesnt exist on papers , neither do SPOs.

Congress leader Mahendra Karma called as Bastar Tiger within Congress Party, was the partys point
man in Chhattisgarh. Karma often resembled a wolf that preyed on the tribals of southern Chhattisgarh,
many of them from his own tribe, with utter disregard for their livelihood and lives. Naxalites made
him pay for his crimes against humanity
Conceived soon after Congress came to power in the centre
Salwa Judum - an extreme, cynical form of vigilantism led by Karma took wing. Heavily armed to the
teeth with the latest automatic weapons it was a terror in the region.
Whatever Mahendra Karma did, he did in Complicity with the Chhattisgarh Government of Raman
Singh.

Salwa Judum militia men destroyed homes of tribals , and stores of grainary and any other stored food ,
they had; they killed thousands of innocent tribals , men, women and children ; thousands were maimed
and hundreds of women were raped several. Children were forced to watch the death and
dismemberment of parents. Pregnant women were disembowelled. . There death and torture of those
suspected of allying with Naxalites.

This intimidation, blessed by posse of state police force and Union government paramilitaries who have
their own record of blood, lust and war crimes in the region, at one point herded in excess of 1,00,000
tribal folk into little more than concentration camps across Dantewada district. More than 5,00,000
innocent tribals lost their ancestral lands as they were moved out of their forests in the name of
fighting naxals.Many of them are today languishing in camps.

Author and Sociologist Nandini Sundar files case in the Supreme Court against Salwa Judum, which
called for disbanding of Salwa Judum. But Raman Singhs Government in Chhattisgarh refused to
implement Supreme Courts Order. He enjoyed support of UPA Government , Senior BJP Leaders and
Senior RSS Leaders.

themselves to fight against Maoists TOTALLY FALSE.

Funeral of Senior Congress Leader Mahendra Karma

Top Congress Leadership pays homage to slain Senior Congress Leader Mahendra Karma, whose
militia men destroyed homes of tribals , and stores of grainary and any other stored food , they had;
they killed thousands of innocent tribals , men, women and children ; thousands were maimed and
hundreds of tribal women were raped several. He dispatched more than 5,00,000 Tribals to CAMPS
outside Ranchi to live like destitute, with total support from UPA Government.

Congress Leaders killed in the violence after prayers at the party headquarters 24 Akbar Road in New
Delhi.
Special tributes were offered to Chattisgarh Congress Leader Mahendra Karma.
While Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was not be able to attend the meeting as he has left for Japan,
senior ministers including AK Antony, Salman Khurshid, Jairam Ramesh, M Veerappa Moily, senior

Congress Leader Mahendra Karma were performed with state honours - Union Minister of State for

Congress MP Mukul Wasnik were present at the funeral.
Karmas son Chhavindra along with his four brothers lit the funeral pyre.
