Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa kuat kinerja dan

daya saing ekspor produk perikanan Indonesia serta untuk mengetahui apa

saja yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk memperbaiki serta

meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing ekspor produk perikanan Indonesia.

Hasil analisis menggunakan metode Revealed Comparative Advantage

(RCA), ditemukan bahwa daya saing ekspor produk perikanan Indonesia

mempunyai keunggulan yang cukup baik sedangkan kinerja ekspor produk

perikanan Indonesia menunjukan keadaan yang fluktuatif dalam kurun

periode 2005 sampai dengan 2014.

Nilai RCA produk perikanan laut Indonesia menunjukkan adanya

daya saing yang kuat karena lebih dari satu (RCA >1) selama periode 2005

hingga 2014 sedangkan nilai Indeks RCA menunjukkan adanya fluktuasi

terhadap kinerja ekspor perikanan Indonesia dimana selama beberapa tahun

nilai kinerjanya kurang dari satu (Indeks RCA<1) tetapi selama beberapa

tahun terakhir menunjukkan tanda perbaikan kinerja dengan nilai lebih dari

satu Indeks (RCA >1).

 ABSTRACT

This research aims to find out just how powerful the

performance and competitiveness of exports of Indonesian fishery products

as well as to find out what has been done by the Government to repair and

improve the performance and competitiveness of exports of fishery products

from Indonesia. The results of the analysis using the method of Revealed

Comparative Advantage (RCA), it was found that the export

competitiveness of Indonesian fishery products has a pretty good advantage

while the export performance of Indonesian fishery products showed

fluctuating circumstances in the period 2005 up to 2014.

The value of marine fisheries products RCA Indonesia showed a

strong competitiveness as more than a single (RCA > 1) during the period

2005 to 2014 while index values RCA showed a fluctuation on performance

of export fisheries Indonesia where for a few years the value of the

performance is less than one (RCA < Index 1) but over the last few years

showed signs of improvement in performance with a value of more than one

Index (RCA > 1).
