OF MR. ENRIQUE U. GIL

I, ENRIQUE U. GIL, 33 years old, married, residing at #1255,

Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City , after having been sworn to in accordance
with the law do hereby depose and state:

That RHENFACEL J. MANLEGRO is the counsel who conducted

and supervised my examination as a witness at her office at Flores-Manlegro
Law Office, 3rd Flr., CKY Center, Capistrano St. Cagayan de Oro City;

That I am answering the questions herein fully conscious that I do so

under oath;

The following are the Questions propounded by ATTY.

RHENFACEL J. MANLEGRO and my answers in English language:

Q1: Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?
A1: Yes Maam.

Q2: Are you the same Enrique Gil, driver and witness in this case for
Damages now pending before the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41 of
Cagayan de Oro City?
A2: Yes Maam

Q3: Are you also the driver of the Bus No. 8502 of the Reid Busline
Company, Inc.?

Q4: How long have you been driving in their company?

A4: 4 years maam.

Q5: Where were you on May 22, 2017 at about two oclock in the
afternoon?
A5: I was driving the bus No 8502 maam. At 2 in the afternoon I was
already in Osmea Street.

Q6: What transpired during that time?

A6: My route that day is from Malaybalay to Cagayan de Oro Maam. I
departed from Malaybalay at 11:00 in the morning. At 2 in the afternoon I
was already in Cagayan de Oro. I was driving 30kph speed limit. It has
always been my speed limit everytime I am in Cagayan de Oro City. When I
was about to reach the intersection of Osmea and CM Recto maam, a
Cargo truck from the other side of the intersection suddenly swerved toward
my direction. The truck hit the bus I am driving.

Q7: Was the truck driving fast that time?

A7: Yes maam. It did not stop despite being in the intersection.

Q8: Did you not try to avoid the truck?

A8: I tried maam but the movement was so fast and there were other
vehicles also. I cannot suddenly to the other lane.

Q9: Did you see the truck warned through a signal light?
A9: No maam. The truck was too fast.

Q10: Where you investigated by the police?

Q10: Yes maam. The police reported showed that the truck driver was at
fault.

Q11: Did you acquire injury from the incident?

A11: Yes maam. I hit my head on the steering wheel and I was not able to
move my right arm for a few hours.

Q12: Were you brought to the hospital?

A12: Yes maam. Our manager Nadine Lustre assisted me to Medical
Hospital.

Q13: Who paid for your medical expenses and treatment?

A13: The company maam.

Q14: Did the company allowed you to drive after the incident?
A14: I rested for two days only and then I drove the other Bus No 5555.

Q15: Mr. Gil, in the four years that you have been driving with Reid Busline
Company Inc., have you ever had any vehicular accident prior to the
incident that occurred on May 22, 2017?
A15: No maam. I only got flat tires but this is the first time I encountered an
accident with another vehicle.

Q16: Do you have anything to say, Mr. Sales?

A16: No more, Maam.
