My name is Muhammad Memon and I am currently a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in

Economics. After speaking with Sandra Cohen and Michael Murphy from Advisory services, I
am impressed with what I have learned about the collegial culture and gamut of opportunities at
PwC. I am interested in pursuing the full-time Advisory Risk Consulting Associate position at
your firm.

I have completed an internship at Kaiser Permanente in Financial Planning and Analysis, where I
developed and optimized an excel-based Strategic Scenario Model and presented it to the Senior
Executive Team. I collaborated with two financial analysts and the Executive Director of
Financial Planning and Analysis to create a financial forecast of Kaisers eight regions spanning
out through the next decade in the rapidly evolving health care industry. Through this
experience, I have learned financial modeling in excel and have sharpened my analytical, project
management, and teamwork skills. In addition to enhancing key skills, I have developed a strong
interest in the health care industry and the challenges companies will be faced with following the
Health Care Reform.

Given my background in Financial Planning and Analysis at Kaiser Permanente and my strong
leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills, I am a particularly good fit for the Risk Consulting
Associate position at PwC. In speaking with the different PwC Advisory professionals, the
consistent message I received was that the Advisory service line is growing at a rapid pace. I
believe I can highly contribute to that growth by utilizing the skills I have attained through my
internship experience and extracurricular activities to add value to PwC's Advisory Practice.
