To find out, let us proceed to our next activity.
Picture Analysis Part 1 Group Activity
Each group will be assigned to particular images then will post their answers in
the manila paper. A group representative will report their answers after.
Questions for Processing:
1. What similarities have you noticed? 2.What are the differences? Name as
many as you can. 3. Identify the image presented. Is it an object, a
person, a place, a phenomenon (event)?

DEPENDENT INDEPENDENT VARIABLES
A variable is a construct, concept, or idea under study. It could be anything. A
person, a place, a thing, or a phenomenon. Variables are simplified portions or
attributes of the complex phenomena that you intend study. The word variable
comes from the root word vary, meaning, changing in amount, number, form,
nature, or type. Variables should be measurable, this means that they can be
counted or subjected to a scale.

The two basic types of variables are:

1. Independent variable the presumed cause, the one that affects/
influences, meaning it can cause changes in the dependent variable.
