West Greenwich Police Department (summer 2016)
Intern- accompanied police officers on ride alongs, learned to use the police computer in the cruiser,
watched the officers first hand handle different situations that they were called too, accompanied the
captain to both criminal and traffic courts.
Work Experience:
Burlingame Park Management Area
Level 3 Park Ranger Supervised level 2 and level 1 park rangers took care of enforcement of rules
within the park which involved responding to disturbances in the park such as drunk and disorderly,
domestic disputes, and drug use. I was also in charge of calling Environmental and Charleston Police
when necessary as well as voiding people off campsites or (kicking them out of the park). Also, took care
of general maintenance projects.
Westerly Police Department summer position(Summer 2016)
Community Service Officer (CSO)- handled traffic in and out of Misquamicut Beach, patrolled Watch
Hill and Downtown Westerly on foot, wrote traffic violations as well as operated police radios when
necessary, handled violations on beach as well as alcohol and leash laws.
