~BUSINESS MEETING~
President, Dianne Wilson, called the
meeting to order. Frank May offered an
invocation remembering the folks suffering
in Houston, TX and led us in the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Guests at our meeting today included our
speaker, Dan OMalley, Tim Farley, the
Director of Community Relations at St.
Marys College and honorary club
member, Jody Parker.

Gary Irwin, whose birthday was last
Tuesday, celebrated with a dinner at La
Sen restaurant in Walnut Creek.
Doug Damaschino also celebrated his
birthday by staying out of the sun. He
family.
Tony Schoemehl offered a High $5 for
John Ericksons early morning ride to the
hospital for Tonys hand surgery.
Brian South was happy to attend an As
game with members of the Moraga Police
Department. They won!!
Peter Metzger was happy about the
recent opening of the STEM lab at Saklan
School. He thanked the several Rotarians
who were in attendance.
Other Notices
Gary Irwin announced that he had a car
full of water and Coke left over from
OMPA. He sold several cases to
members after the meeting.
Bob Fritzky announced that the Moraga
Chamber Golf Tournament will be held on
September 11 at the Moraga Country
Club. See Bob or Kevin Reneau if you
would like to be part of the Rotary team.
The event also includes a barbecue lunch
and dinner. The cost of the event is $175
per person.
Kevin Reneau announced that the Annual
Chamber barbecue will be held this
evening at the Commons Park starting at
5:30PM.

Debbie Koo announced that the
committee is working on a new brochure
that hopefully will be ready, in some form,
to hand out at the All-Access Park
dedication event later this year. Debbie is
looking for some old pictures of Moraga
from fifty years ago when the club started.
