Chapter 1: Overview
General
The pneumatic punching machine uses die-sets to perforate the various
profiles. The machine has several stations, all numbered (see drawing at
page 5). Each station performs a different perforation. Length stops for the
desired length are installed when necessary at the needed locations.

The machine is operated by a manual air valve, while the operator’s other
hand is used to hold the profile tight in its position.

All machines are ‘bench’ type. For the convenience of operating the
machine in the workshop, a centre pivot on the bench is provided to
manually rotate the machine by 360 deg.

Technical data
Perforation power: up to 2500 Kg.

Air Supply needed: 7-8 Bars. (For some perforations a lower pressure will
suffice.)

Dimensions: Width 600 mm, Depth 250 mm, Height 500 mm.

Weight: 80 Kg.

Standard layout includes all Die Sets & Guards, an Air System and a
Manually Operated Valve.

Chapter 2: Getting Started

Settings
No setting is needed. Each machine is designed to do specific performances
on specific profiles.

Installation
Install the machine on the Work Bench

• With the special “steel bench”, the machine does not need to be
connected to the bench by bolts. It is set on a pivot, and being
manually pushed, it can swivel on the center pivot to allow convenient
operation.

• With other solid workbenches the machine must be connected to the

base plate by 4 bolts.

The machine airline should not obstruct movement of workers. Also, allow
ample space around the machine according the size of the profiles being
punched.

Chapter 3: Operation Instructions

Operation
Initial test
1) Start by opening the slide valve on the main air line.

2) Slowly operate the hand valve and make sure movement is smooth.

3) Insert the profile and make sure it hits the length stop.

Regular operation
1) Adjust length stops and male cutters, and tighten them as needed.

2) Spray oil using the provided pressure can (once every 10

perforations).

3) Operate using the manual valve.

4) Make sure after each operation slag does not block the Die-Set.

End of operation
Clean the machine using of the Air Gun provided, Close the Slide valve, and
release all air by pressing the hand valve.

Chapter 4: Safety and Maintenance

Safety Precautions
If parts of the machines, or the guards, have to be disassembled for any
reason, make sure that air supply is disconnected beforehand.

When refitting the guard, make sure that the safety function is operating!
(I.e. Automatic disconnection of Air-Flow when guard is disassembled)

Safety Instructions
• The manual contains the most important information needed to
operate the machine safely.

• The user should allow only persons who comply with the instructions
of the manual to operate the machine.

• The machine has been constructed, and is being operated in line with
the various CE regulations and directives.

It should be used:

• Only for the intended application.

• Only in a perfect safe working order.

• Only according to the regulations and instructions in this manual.

• For any amendments, a written consent of the manufacturer is needed.

Note that improper usage poses risks of injuries to people,

and could damage sub-units and material.

Maintenance & Servicing

Maintenance
• Clean the machine at the end of the day.

• When not using the machine for a long period, oil-spray the various
knives.

• When restarting operation, check that bolts and pipe connections are
tight.

Servicing
No special service is needed for the machine. If die-sets are worn-out, they
should be replaced.
