and to allow people to board and disembark. Its importance is show that
the ship is without infectious disease or plague on board.
It IS ISSUED BY the port-health-authorities, therefore the vessel can start
with its operation.

HOW I GET THE FREE PRATIQUE: For receive the Free pratique is neccesary be "legally ready. It
means have the permission from the port health authorities. For that reason The master has to
prepare and issue a "Maritime Declaration of Health" while the vessel is anchored in the
quarantine anchorage waiting for the port authorities to come on board.

Nowadays the free pratique can be obtained in advance of the ship's arrival, by the port
agent, and communicated to the ship by telecommunication (sometimes called "Radio
free pratique")

Therefore one way of get the Free Pratique is by The Advance Notice of Arrival Form that is
issued by the master, It contains information about the voyage, the crew, health protection and
quarantine information. This form is sent to the Port Authority no less than 48 hours before
arrival. This form hasnt to change and it is sent to The Port Authority in order to get the Free
Pratique

Also The ships Master should provide a no change of health status confirmation 1224 hours
before arrival to the port.
