This Report from Queen of Peace Ladies Auxiliary # 510, Madina covers the Fourth
Quarter from October to December for the year 2016. Sisters continued to show
commitment to the Order an interest in the church as a whole by taking active part in her
activities
I. MEMBERSHIP
The Auxiliarys numerical strength now stood at seventy seven (77). Generally
between 25 to 35 Sisters attend the regular monthly meetings. The Deputy Organizer,
N/S Kporkenu visited the Auxiliary during November general meeting.
II. OFFICERS
The President, Sister Vivian Klu and her team of Officers continued to run the affairs
of the Auxiliary.
III. MEETINGS
The general monthly meetings of the Auxiliary continued to be held on the second
Saturday of every month at the Queen of Peace School, Madina.
V. ACTIVITIES
The Auxiliary continued to participate in activities at the Local and District level.
Some of which are as follows;
3. Rosary Devotion Schedule and Crowing of the Rosary (31st October, 2016)
The Auxiliary participated in the crowning of the Holy rosary on 31st October, 2016 at
St. Francis of Assisi.
4. Installation (5th November, 2016)
Installation of New Officers was on the 5th November, 2016 at Queen of Peace Catholic
School.
5. Charity
The Auxiliary showed charity the Church and among Sisters
6. Wedding
Sisters attended the wedding of Sister Martha Kyei on 29th October, 2016 at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Suame, Tarkwa-Maakro in Kumasi. As usual the Commandery and
Auxiliary provided refreshment for themselves and a gift from the Commandery and
Auxiliary.
7. Funeral
Sisters attended the funeral of Brother Julius Amehounou Ghary-Wawah of Comm
604, on the 3rd of November, 2016 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Madina.
The Auxiliary attended the funeral of Sister Rosaline Obeng-Ofori on 17th December,
2016 at St. Theresa's Minor Basilica, Nandom.
VII. CHALLENGES
The main challenges facing the Auxiliary is nonpayment of assessment, late payment
of assessment and some Sisters are still found not committed in taking part in the
Auxiliarys activities. The Auxiliary is doing its best to orient Sisters to change
attitude towards the Auxiliary and the Order as a whole.
VIII. ACHIEVEMENTS
The Auxiliary tried to get as many Sisters as possible to fulfill their financial
obligations.
IX. CONCLUSION
The Auxiliary is grateful to God for his mercies and abundant grace for the fourth
quarter of the year. We implore His mercy for continued strength to accomplish His
work for the growth of the Order and may Mary Queen of Peace pray for us all.
