SIDEBAR AGREEMENT to the July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2016 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT Between the LODI BOARD OF EDUCATION and the LODI EDUCATION ASSOCIATION This Sidebar Agreement ("Sidebar"), dated Jawai 1/201 is attached to, incorporated in, and made part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement ("CBA") between the Lodi Board of Education (“Board”) and the Lodi Education Association (“Association”). WHEREAS, the paris previously approved a three (3) year salary guide that provide for two (2) increases for eligible employees on July 1, 2013 and February 1, 2015; and WHEREAS, :he parties previously agreed to provide certain employees with a one-time on-continuous off-guide salary payment, pensionable to the extent permitted by law, at the February 1, 2015 salary increase; and WHEREAS, this one-time non-continuous off-guide payment shall not be used as part of the base salary for 2015-2016 to determine future salary increases; and NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: 1, On February 1, 2015, the Board shall compensate any teacher who is on Step 15 of the salary guide as of July 1, 2014, and zemains employed through February 1, 2015, in the form of a one-time, non-continuous, pensionable to the extent permitted by law, salary payment {in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500). This payment shall not be reflected or included in the salary guides 2. This Sidebar shall not constitute a change in the terms and conditions of mployment for ary effected employee. 250613807By signing this Sidebar, the parties hereto expressly agree to recommend ratification to their respective organizations. 4. Alllother provisions of the CBA shall remain as set forth therein. 5. This Sidebar shall not constitute a reopening of the CBA. 6. This Sidebar contains the entire agreement and understanding between the parties. 7. Ifa specific clause of this Sidebar is determined to be illegal or in violation of any Federal or State law, the remainder of the Sidebar shall not be affected by such a ruling and shall remain in full force and effect. 8. The parties shall be bound by the terms and conditions of this Sidebar. ‘The patties have entered into this Sidebar freely and voluntarily. 10.
