IV. MARKET ANALYSIS AND POTENTIAL

TARGET MARKET

The major area of marketing is to know your customers, so VIC is aware about its

target consumers and market. Basically the target customers for this business are the

students of PUP Quezon City branch, students of nearby schools and the residents of Don

Fabian Street, Commonwealth, Quezon City.

6
PRICING

Its an important factor for any company to select per unit price which overcome

its cost and some profit margin. Very important thing is that consumers can easily afford

it. So our pricing strategy will be according to the market and customer affordability.

As our product is new for people and has many unique characteristics so it is

possible that our price can be higher than other products in the market. But it will not be

too high. The reason of little highness is our uniqueness and extra services like quality,

hygiene packing, etc.

V. BUSINESS REVENUE STRATEGY

From an operational standpoint, VICs goal is to transform the current business approach

in the product by

Increasing the productivity of staff by recognizing and rewarding staff

contributions with staff performance reviews, and teach them sales skills and how

to upsell products so customers make multiple purchases at one time

Developing new product lines by surveying our customers about new products.

Finding new customers by doing so this can help grow the business

Finding new markets by market research to determine if we could expand our

business into new areas.

Having customer service to improve and develop a staff training program

7
Increasing our prices, check if weve priced our goods and services correctly and

if we could increase prices without reducing sales

Having price discounts. considering price discounts and promotions to increase

our customer base (e.g. 2-for-1 deals or 50% off)

using effective retail displays to increase our sales

VI. GROWTH STRATEGY

We will give extra care for providing quality products to our clients. Both

students and regular citizens would be treated with equal importance and their

preferences would be considered with proper attention for the benefit of our

business.

Although we are very new in this industry with very few competitors, we will

focus on attracting more and more customers. All these products would be

provided at competitive rate to meet the income level of the population of our

society.

We will regularly interact with our clients for their kind suggestion and

recommendation as well as for any complaint regarding our services. This will

help us to know the market demand and customer desires and we would be able to

increase our service quality.

8
In future, we would expand our business by providing more various diversified

products, and after meeting the demand of our area we would expand our business

in other area within the city in near future and it will depend upon the success of

our business.

Customer would be treated as boss throughout the business operation with proper

care and respect.

VII. FINANCIAL PLAN

The following is the financial plan for expansion of VIC product line and

VIII. RISK ASSESSMENT AND CONTINGENCY STRATEGIES

As with any new startup, VIC faces several strategic, operational, and financial

risks that will challenge the organization during its launch and growth. Below is an

assessment of some of these risks and the steps the company will take to minimize them.

9
STRATEGIC RISKS

The primary strategic risks that VIC faces are from entrenched competitors, and

consumer inertia.

Starting and running a small business is an inherently risky practice because there

is no guarantee that a new venture will attain profitability. Unforeseen events or disasters

can be especially harmful to a business. For example, a fire, earthquake or flood can

make it impossible to continue operating a business normally.
